Door closed, surrounded by walls
sealed inside , darkness, cries, sadness, lost soul
Look around, alone, scared, confusion, cold
I scream, anyone there?
No responce
I scream, please help me?
NO responce
stand up walls too high
reach out to feel something
nothing but darkness
I scream is this real
No responce
weakness, no strength, my legs collapse
I fall crotched down in a ball , rocking slowly, tears fall
my hands grab my head, am I in trouble, the yelling echos in my head
I look up and see the light, but I cant reach it
the only sound is the voice in my head,
I scream Please stop talking, I scream STOP!
I hold my breathe, 1 minute, 2 minutes exhale deep breathe in
open your eyes, stand up, leave those thoughts in the dark
You know it will come again, maybe less time

The child inside is an adult, fighting whats behind that closed door

crotched between
Great White Father's
monotheistic Pole
and silently suppressed
polycultural BlackHole
Now ecocidally remembering
what EarthGoddess has brought together
no straight white privileged patrimony
could healthily
or safely part
Like baptismal waters
of RedBlue blooded Seas
and weaponized seasons
of penetrating drought,
wrenching reasons
for dicked-down drenching doubt.
The wood is too seasoned,
the grain grown hoary.
A cat dozes in a corner of darkness,
it will not look at the puppet.
In a twilit kitchen
an old man grumbles.
His joints are dry, they creak
as he gums a boiled egg.
Oak eyes open wide.
Pinocchio is old.
Stringy sinews dangle
his crotched frame.
Hollow veins grind
inside the sullen cage
of his breast.
Made to deceive the eye
he has become what
we dare not look upon.
Soon the wind will thump
the cottage door.
In the potbellied stove
crackling logs pray
never to be that thing
that hangs and glares all-seeing,
like a painted moon.
