Thoughts sprawl out of the box,
cognizance limits transcended by confused mind,
paradox.
Mute inner voice
takes tense sense in forked pathway blind,
tough choice.
Gets tossed
in fogged crosswind,
lost.
Thoughts sprawl out of the box,
takes tense sense in forked pathway blind,
lost.

To live a life with satisfaction
no matter what is in for me;
To walk without hesitation,
not fearing what comes in my way.
To quit the habit of procrastination
and try to do now tomorrow's things;
To do all things with utmost dedication;
To leap high and spread my wings.
To soar high against the strongest storm
like a kite that flies high against the wind;
To scrape my old scales and transform;
To walk straight amidst a crosswind.
To conquer my old self
and be better as time passes by;
To put my wisdom in a shelf
even if the tides are high.

A Superb Forenoon
This superb forenoon down the avenue,
flower gardens, mostly lawns, up this part.
There's Sammy and Tammy, "How do you do!",
naught Baker's ... close, Cooke's, love their fine art.
In view, ol' Freddie sits at the bus stop,
this superb forenoon down the avenue.
Waits not for bus, just days headlines they'll swap,
park seats, down some, too far ... bus stop will do.
Fair breaths of air, perfect time, grows in view,
from this point, I approach the metal wind,
this superb forenoon down the avenue,
flaps Orient graces in a crosswind.
Chalked squares in my path, sits a small beanbag,
a lil' girl says, "A minute sir, thank you!",
"Welcome, Miss!", homestead nearby, let time lag,
this superb forenoon down the avenue.

Breathe on Me Sweet Breath of the Spirit
Breathe on me breath of God
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what Thou dost love,
And do what thou wouldst do. Robert Jackson
Light a sanctuary candle of new fire in me
With your breath call up purifying flames
Ignite dying embers, not consumed, but set free.
Breathe on me sweet breath of the Spirit
Send before my steps fiery desert whirlwinds
Incandescent fireworks in valley darkness
Fan your holy inferno of blazing grace - blessed crosswind.
Breathe on me sweet breath of the Spirit.
In a fireball transform my fears with your divine fire
Burn away impurities leaving only glowing faith
That welcomes all to warm beside my hearth - heart's desire.
Breathe on me sweet breath of the Spirit.
Leave your neon signature emblazoned on my poor heart
Luminous conflagration ever warming - a lantern
For pilgrims seeking your eternal fire to impart.
Breathe on me sweet breath of the Spirit.

Once life was young and had not sinned.
Eternal love my long time goal.
My dreams were caught in lust’s crosswind.
Lord, have mercy on my soul.
Into my eyes you gaily grinned.
My captured heart lost self-control.
You stole my dreams like a whirlwind.
Lord, have mercy on my soul.
Desire’s thoughts would not rescind.
Your want and mine soon took control.
Passion’s fire raged from your skin.
Lord, have mercy on my soul.
Sweet trust was zapped to my chagrin.
I should have known I was your goal.
Eternal love lost to the wind.
Lord, have mercy on my soul.

Love has got you feeling
like you're floating in the air
On a magic carpet ride,
eyes open wide, hanging on tight
One kiss was all it took to send you there
Sent you up in the clouds
on streetcar number nine
Sent you flying in the sky,
like a gush of oil from a gold mine
Got your heart zooming in flight;
go rest your head on her heart,
take a cool journey in the heat of the night
Sheer delight,
your heart's in flight
Baby said everything was peachy keen alright
Love has got you feeling
like you're cruising on a tropical crosswind
In a pleasure hot air balloon,
eyes shut closed, hanging on loose
One kiss took you where you had never been
Sent you up in the clouds
on streetcar number nine
Sent you flying in the sky,
like you struck oil in a gold mine
Got your heart soaring in flight,
sheer open arm delight
Sunburst showers of the morning,
rains love on you in the middle of the night

He sliced her chest to free her soul
To witness the red marrow within she refused him
Loving the tension he overshadowed through her pure windows
He buries his anxiety into the depths of her hollow sorrow
She no longer envied the dying who explored life in a flash
Right at the end...impatience now ran in the veins for her flesh
Coveted, craving the stroking of his lit candle
He branded a tattoo with all the spectrum he could needle
The seasoned man the naked boy had morphed
Into a beast ravenous to her dead pose
She forgave what he ate and buried...
What he overcooked and unleashed...
This mole that had dug her grave became blinded
By the bliss her heavens shone from the high cloud
The sigh carrying the mountain of troubles adrift like a crosswind
And rained down joyful fountains of teardrops like gumdrops
Her eyes that marvelled like polished marbles
Became constellations in the night air...
Her release carried on the wing of bird formations
The fabric of her innocence on a permanent migration
