In Flight
Love has got you feeling
like you're floating in the air
On a magic carpet ride,
eyes open wide, hanging on tight
One kiss was all it took to send you there
Sent you up in the clouds
on streetcar number nine
Sent you flying in the sky,
like a gush of oil from a gold mine
Got your heart zooming in flight;
go rest your head on her heart,
take a cool journey in the heat of the night
Sheer delight,
your heart's in flight
Baby said everything was peachy keen alright
Love has got you feeling
like you're cruising on a tropical crosswind
In a pleasure hot air balloon,
eyes shut closed, hanging on loose
One kiss took you where you had never been
Sent you up in the clouds
on streetcar number nine
Sent you flying in the sky,
like you struck oil in a gold mine
Got your heart soaring in flight,
sheer open arm delight
Sunburst showers of the morning,
rains love on you in the middle of the night
