As I study “Without Borders” it begins to rain and I drift in and out of reality. —quote by poet
MAX with rainfall
the hammer of rainfall
counterbalanced with bold
red round sun, nearly a world
within a world of color
white clouds like dancing spooks
across the rotund belly of impassioned sun
verdant green leaves mask the rain-
clouds…dim light
that boat appears
when my eyes drop
like rain, i feel
my mood change
i can see splatters
of red, yellow, blue
lightly hitting the river
headed for me
the hues are not primary
but rather
salmon, blueberry and banana-creme
—then the sails,
lift me above the waters,
smaller than the sun
but distinct
the placid vessel rests
as do i - no turning back
and the rains
have stopped
as i look away

Kindred spirits connecting thoughts, meeting in the dark
Counterbalanced personalities
Soulmates telepathically need not to remark
Unconstrained by mere localities
What's I think may just be there for real
Someday I may find out
But in the meantime I do sense
It's there, without a doubt

Death's cowl shadows the soul's release
while rising to meet its maker,
and all mortal ties to Life cease.
Birth is counterbalanced by Death,
for we must experience both
Life's first breath, and Death's final breath.
Grief wears a veil of mournful tears
worn to soften reality:
woven out of sadness and fears.
Death cannot exist without Birth,
and Life can't evolve without Death:
both fuel diversity on Earth.
Death's a natural progression:
Life can never be forever,
and souls accept this concession.
Distilled from belief, tears of faith
shed in memory of the dead:
celebrate the soul's salvation.

For several ages
Our relationship can be compared
To a benevolence fund
Always seeking a hand out
Never offering a hand up
The scales were never balanced
On one scale counterbalanced in pure gold
With dreams not at all foretold
The other measured in aluminum foil
With the value no equivalent
Of a penny being sold
A charity misfortune
You have been
Perpetually seeking help
Because you only focused on yourself
Which delivered me into
The grasp of death
I bet you regret
That I was able to come back
Uncondensed in full effect
Only to have you
Be a deadweight
For that I’ve developed
Emotions of loathing and hate
And this is because of our first date
I should have known
That I would become
An expert philanthropist
In contributing to the poor
You always requested more
Materialistic donations
And now I’ve made a head start
To take off and run
So I will not have to be the chairman
Of your benevolent fund

UNSUPPORTED CODE
`Shuttered windows
The absence of any corporeal presence
Is counterbalanced by the ethereal essence
Of the Human Spirits still in residence
In forlorn foyers and empty rooms
Vacant eyes peer in unspoken plaint
through dust hazed windows...
seeking the solace of eternal memories
Of long passed children…and weeping widows
Clock long stopped pon dusty mantel
Hands posed o’er numerals Roman
No longer giving...and long past caring
Of the duty of time and chiming of man
Dust motes that caper in fairy dance fashion
Forming in miniature...galaxies and universes
Inquisitive rays of sunshine that leak through
And peek through the regimented rows
Of the slats in tidily ordered lines
In sombre repose behind
…`Shuttered windows...
