sheathe this heart
a conservatory
for the lacking 
of menagerie
the walls aren’t
bricked up

caught courting within
the flinting prisms

we think we travel
strange universes

in our planetary
reconnaissance devices, 
transporting initial 
contact communication 
for exporting 
potential new lives
for resettlement,

perhaps we are the
internal world 
of God,

we are 
the good 
and the bad 
of an otherwise 
invisible being, 
a central life source
we cannot see for dreaming,

because 
we are 
part 
of the internal sum 
immersed
