Along the stretch of an alley etched in cracked cobblestone,
Walks a conquered weary swain besides his penumbral casted clone.
Onwards he treads towards the recycled mill of a matted ride,
As calcitrated gravel pebbles are tumbled by his stride.
Beneath his feet the floor is flattened by concrete consecrations,
Created by the curse of a society deified by Earth’s castration.
Sky-scraping towers cloud the city’s canopy with sedentary cement,
Carving corporate demarcations along the trickling trick of rent.
As above the breath is bleached by blotted crumbles of pitiless guilt,
So below the belly balloons with bloated hubris on which its built.
‘Tis but a chore of the harvest’s chattel to maintain the flock with traffic,
Churned in the choking oil slick of a city fracked from finite fabric.
And so the folly of the fickle fellow who fights for matter and finance,
Shall adjourn the chance to find delight in the trance of song and dance.

Crosses
Christlike creatures carry crosses bravely borne
from fetters forged by blessed consecrations.
Wicked winds tear at flesh that’s whipped and worn
as vanquished persons hold on to their convictions.
A twisted world is turning towards the darkness
embracing envy, enmity and shame.
The holy sword is noted for its sharpness
as it cuts the callous with a fiery flame.
Christlike creatures carry crosses bravely borne
in days when demons dare to raise a hype of hell.
Yet, an angel protects them from the scorn
as they glance down on some sorry son that fell.
God will be victor in the wake of time.
There is a cross brand new for some to own,
a quick deliverance from hands that are unkind
to arms of welcome and a world called home.

Made my own observations
While following through on obligations
Certain materials came into contact with the process of oxidation
As I always respected conservation
Unfortunatley the same could not be said for all occupations
And methods of operation
Realize this bit of ancient knowledge, many conversations
Got lost in translation, all across the basins and nations
You could make a never ending story of compilations
Life came with unlimited combinations
Of complications
But it was never enough to break my concentration
Spirit or willpower, as I stared up at the constellations
Above cities with high populations
I made my own modifications
Through many optimizations
I understood that many desired accomodations
And strictly believed in consecrations
I could never respect or help anyone interested in world domination
Or narcissism and self-nomination
Especially if they speak of others like an abomination
I'm so very far from religious, but I can tell you now with a certain degree of confidence
And a much higher consciousness
That will lead you to a path of eternal condemnation

Ignominious consecrations - Arise.
Through tainted, synoptic eyes
With condescending erroneous lies
Despicable temptations - tease and denies
My nemesis creation,
insatiable appetites are no excuse
Rationalizations
A pernicious fight, senseless; a tightening noose
Ridiculous questions, insidious addictions
Perspectives; painful views of captive
Suicidal intentions
Dauntless drug-use & countless late nights
A senseless tightening noose
Abject & lost in the rinse
An insincere truth, a pernicious fight
Without sense, squandered youth
Enslaved without any rights.
END
PLEASE COMMENT!!
CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK, (pos. or neg.) CRITIQUES, OR ANY SUGGESTIONS
I also enjoy simple lists of words, descriptors of an abstract reaction
describe the feelings or ideas my poem invoked or left in feeling or thought.
Even on word. is better than none. Thank you

Plagued with an unimaginable measure of beauty
She sits somewhere between the Indian and the Atlantic
Her history boasts of nothing but debauched slavery
Having served leaders who were very autocratic
She boasts of a vast expanse of unexploited vegetation
An even greater magnitude of untapped mineral resources
Yet her people reside in abject deprivation
As they look beyond their motherland to external sources
Famine, drought and diseases are her nemesis
Her leaders never seem to be sensitive to her plight
Amassing wealth for themselves and families
Ignoring the very reason for their current might
Oh Africa my motherland
Bursting with glory and heavenly blessings
May the good Lord stretch forth His hand
To bless thee with leaders worthy of your consecrations
