'till time is no more
I will glide upon
grace granted and measured
out to the rhythm
of the celestial spheres
within the conflux of
the creator's peculiar light
which cleaves betwixt particles
to penetrates beneath the surface
of this crystalized cardiac
and exposes the sculpture
of the master craftsman
the great lion tears
scales from blind justice
which fall moldering upon
the carven image they
once represented
at a roar the firmaments
are rent as
an obsolete contract
grace granted and measured

Remember, centuries ago we met
I'th' glorious garden of a hillock.
Then the morose sun was about to set,
And euphoric birds were flying en bloc.
Yonder the crimson streaks reddened the clime
And thy visage adorned with unfurled love—
Strange and secluded beauty hard to mime
E'en by the variegated sky above.
The red river paled into a black brook
As our silhouettes made love to small stars—
A nonpareil nocturne from warblers’ nook
Let in it our conflux of hearts immerse.
The quaint queen of night made thy meek hair shine,
Till my famished lips coalesced with thine.

Upon greater reflection across the seas of tranquil dreams
I did find a breath of solace
Lingering in a dirge borne on the backs of rays
Gathered to me and falling just so and so
To more, and to more,
Confuse… zed though I be and be
Poppy top and so
I dreamed and dream of what I do knot know
And I know, I know; now and when
In the broken dawn is why
In the cracked dusk is who
In the fall of the moon is where
In the sing of the sun is what
Confuse. . . zed through and through I be
