Many U.S. citizens
deny that democratic civility and classism can,
and often do,
co-exist.

These tend to be
those who also deny
the multigenerational inheritance of enslaving racism
in defense of egalitarian beliefs
about dignity and indignities of human life,
where some have access to personal and habitat and economic health
by right,
while others,
often born multigenerationally poor,
have yet to earn their equal health care receiving rights
until they have paid their economic care-giving dues
for another decade or generation
or two
or three
or more,
who knows?

So good to know
we live in a culture
without classism,
and certainly without racism.

We just think,
using that term loosely,
that everybody should live equally
separately
as things have always been since,
well...
back to the days of slavery and Kings,
the way God originally ordained,
after the Paradise Forest of Eden,
of course,
which is all our own damned Original Sin fault.

Nodoby would want to go all the way back
to that radical absence of classism
and racism
ReGenerative Creation Story.

Or,
maybe we would?
perhaps we could?
possibility we multiculturally should?

History Repeats

Society! A sad state of affairs.
Corporate, owned. The stores pushing their wares.
Politics, ambiguous. No truth found.
Majority vote. Yet, the loser, crowned.
Divided we stand. The land is not free.
Upward you rise if you have the money.
Our brightest kids, dreams never realized.
Educations cost just too super sized.
Classism, racism drives caste system.
Open your eyes. Should be "us" against "them".
Social media, engendering strife.
Corrupt media, divides like a knife.
Another empire comes to a close.
You're warning. Revolution ended those.

Walking To Work

walking to work
in a *****small town
with the cars whizzing by &
the peering drivers
with
bulging beady eyes
(fat behind the wheel,
never exercising, with
heart attacks & heart disease
just round the bend),
with curiosity that
killed the
****ing cat,
with classism eyelashes &
the want of the white picket
fence, amidst the
burrowing down
increasing unemployment &
poverty rising
for the rest of
us &
there’s a rock in my shoe &
there’s a storm coming &
if one stops to untie the shoe
so that said rock-shoed individual
can release said rock
back out into the wild,
then of course the storm
will come thrashing.

Among All of Mankind

there's a well inside of me
that longs for more empathy.

it starts with the creatures
man mistreats. this negative action is ceased
with the growth of the heart --
something man must fine tune like
a work of art.

we should watch out for the little ones
who mistreat their pets.
these could lead to serial killers
as studies have shown. if they like
animals, encourage them to be vets.

there's a well inside of me
that longs for more empathy.

we should watch our attitudes
towards all the divine creation.
even buddists have respect for all life --
including insects --
by not bringing them death.

"no-kill" shelters can
be the best for unwanted pets.
maybe these small actions
can lead to the end of wars,
racism, sexism, classism and violence.
plant the good grains of kindness.

there's a well inside of me
that longs for more empathy
to spread like wild flowers
in the summer among all of mankind.

Seperating Wedge.....

^

                 Too...

                  the point

                  social bias

                  we fall into place

                  Indoctrinated system

                  -ism's become a wedge

                  classism a form of racism

                  minds eye trained toward color

                  gold and green....bold with greed....
