The enchantment of the jasmine’s flickering candle doth burn,
On the broad, antique desk, poems she created in quick turns.
While her mind with brightness, filled with equanimty did churn.
Recalling recognitions with joy over happy centuries she did learn.
Smiling over her ‘Summa Cum Laude’, so rightly, was her proud earn. ‘
Her parents, schooling, churching with love, she had this night, discerned!

God took me to Church today,
First time in over 20 years.
A Divine date with my beloved.
Dressed in my Sunday best,
Off we went.
We sat up front,
We sang, we prayed, we listened, we saw, we enjoyed, we felt, we experienced,
We radiated Divine Love into every moment.
We wondered if others experienced God right there, stroking our cheeks, sitting within and without each and every one of us?
There was talk of fear and faith,
sin and sacrifice.
Words that led me, decades ago, down the path of forgetfulness,
The experience of being alone in the world,
The suffering of the ego.
No matter now…
Now that God has brought remembrance into every cell of this being,
Into every string of this heart.
God took me to Church today,
And revealed that church is everywhere, in everyone, in every place, in every moment.
We smiled a big smile,
We had fun,
The experience of “churching” was fun.
God wants to return,
God wants this body to return and be a beacon of joy and love,
Radiating silently the rays of truth from this heart.
May the veils of illusion rise and reveal God's church to all in every moment.
