The sleigh glided through heavy snow
Santa was worried about the blizzard blow
When suddenly Rudolph stubbled, his leg amiss
The reindeer sighed to see their leader down
The North Pole wore a worried frown
Elf doctors worked with healing care
Santa looked on distraught
While backup plans filled the frosty air
The sleigh, now powered by a magic spell,
Would soar through the sky, still chiming bells
Rudolph cheered as they started their journey
For Christmas joy would save the night.

Had Heard My Clock Chiming
So wrote this limerick that is rhyming
In time are many grains of sand
And if you have a small hand
Hard to set clock and its timing.
My old clock soon stopped ticking
And out new one started picking
Hour earlier it happened to be
Daylight Savings Time did see
Or maybe again it was sticking.

Midnight Mutes the Chiming
There’s nothing here
I’m surrounded by things and people
and entertainment that never ends
but there’s nothing here
My mind is empty
filled to the brim with stories
and movies and interesting facts
and I could pull from it and show you everything
but my mind is empty
There’s nobody near
they’re all around laughing and joking
and they’re waiting for me to say something
and I can interact with them
but there’s nobody near
My mind is a screaming silence
ideas bouncing through again and again
my room is filled with useless ****
but i keep buying and buying
my life is a world of loneliness
and all I have to do is reach out
But I can’t
I can’t reach out and
they don’t understand
They say its an easy fix
Just do it.
Just be someone you’re not.
But I’m already doing that.
They’re all strangers to me
and they think they know me,
how to fix me.
But I’m a broken clock
and I keep bouncing between seconds
I’m fine I’m not I’m fine
I’m not.

She breathes a white mist. Her soul shivered,
Her heart now dissipates on ice.
The snow falls silent, a note unheard.
Belief falters of the Jesus Christ.
It's hot; The salty beads tease her
But her cares are frozen still.
Her naivete of life has dispersed;
In a soundless second, her hope is killed.
The colours are raw.
It is winter now where it was summer then.
Her face is dead. Covered in frost.
She cursed her flaws in heat, now winter made its descent.
The cold wind blows colder,
Her aspirations gone dead pale.
What she feared most held onto her
The ice consumes her warmth; a freezing veil.
"Jesus...why Jesus?"
The sweat is overpowering.
Between her legs dries under the sun.
She hears the melody of his belt singing.
Her scream doesn't bother...her reality cannot be undone.
"Why me Lord? Why me who never sins?"
Silence. It could have been worsened.
Praise be to Him that your life is now ruined
Instead of it stripped away and taken.
Praise be to God for He is good.

O chiming bells of midnight,...
gladly announce Jesus' joyful birth;
see how the Heavens' stars shine...
to glorify the most glorious One!
Unpleasant is the cold December' air,
and a manger is the perfect shelter
away from the frost and the gelid wind;
see how He smiles as all the angels sing!
Come shepherds, bring along your sheep,
to warm up a King whose heart is so meek;
and as the Wise Men kneel down in divine adoration,
I watch the gifts in their hands with much trepidation!
O chiming bells of midnight...echo through my starry valley,
and cheer up this silent town that offers its true serenity;
and if snowflakes fall and make all the stars seem too far,
my lamp will brighten up the path and lead me to the Messiah!
