It is the desire of the moth
for the star…..
                 - Edgar Allan Poe

I awoke this morning
to find the powdery imprint
of wings on a window
that must have been left
by a moth trying
to get in when it
careered full flight
into glass, blinded
and driven lovesick
by the glow from a light
I had kept turned on
when reading
Edgar Allan Poe
late last night.

Jill

   On a cold winters day,
   Jill caught a nasty chill.
   She called out the doctor,
   Who pronounced she was ill.
   He said, drink some water,
   While you swallow this pill.
   But when fetching water,
   Jill careered down the hill.
    'Twas twice a disaster,
When he gave Jill his bill.
   For a sticking plaster,
And the price of one pill.

Premium MemberOnce Upon a Time At Easter

along the walk
   to six acre wood
sat in the sunshine
still needing a hood

observing the swallows
swoop
    & pass
over
the new growing grass
earth dry&hard
   scented gorse
       in yellow garb

hares in proverbial
  careered without any nous
popping up
   alongside us

across the vale
 worship floated
enthused& elated
   complemented&blended
my soul
    being mended

Their Season Done

So the year is nearly ending
Cold bleak winter days now pending,

Beauty though first paid a call
For came the final days of fall,

A kaleidoscope amid the trees
As swirls of gold and crimson leaves,

In autumn gusts, careered around
Then came to rest upon the ground.

Beneath naked boughs, no warming sun
Time to die, their season done.

Funkadelic Colors

Funkadelic was the rush in hydioglipics of colors.
The acoustic guitar screamed while the idioglipic paint fulfilled the scene.
I was high as a kite and on cloud nine from the ecstasy.
I am a Pop Star.
Come out to see me.

The screech of cords drove the crowd wild.
So colorfully dress they went with the art wall.
The colors of life were the hype no racism in sight.
Everyone enjoying himself or herself this night shouting that the colors
     were all right.

The Pop Band sings Fasciae.
The audience careered in their personal space.
The colors of life were appreciating the movements of one nation that
     made this happen today.
We delight in knowing we are united in everyday life and a nation that has
built and established a Center of Enjoyment.
We will inform you when it is time for the next party bringing out all colors
of a country as one heartbeat.

Colors of people are the ambient environment.
The energy transfers.
We are one nation under the clouds and amongst the stars.
