Candidacy Poems | Examples

Artificial Intelligence and Public Office

In circuits hum, a silent plea,
A question asked, when will it be?
When algorithms seek to lead,
In politics, a novel deed.

Bytes and bits in candidacy,
Electrons dance, a new decree.
Will silicon minds find their place,
In governance, a digital grace?

As codes converge with human lore,
We ponder paths never trod before.
When silicon dreams aspire high,
In public office, will they vie?

The people wanted Cap for president
to take up the mantle leading for peace
"You're the man, cap!", they would cheer
hoping his competition would cease

But Cap knew the position
held the collective interests of a nation
and he decided to speak with them
in a stage-based crowded location

He spoke to his commitment
to the preservation of the American dream
and that his course would be hindered
if you know what I mean

So he declined his candidacy
and told the people to find the one
who could keep the nation strong
and to that end, a new search has begun

Middle America's Democrats are reeling in shock
At the party's Progressive Agenda, tailor-made to block
   The candidacy of anyone who can't check these boxes

The Republican Convention

I heard the speeches, watched the crowds
And shuddered as I thought,
This surely is a crazy world
And look at what it’s wrought:

A candidacy fueled by fear
With smears of subterfuge;
A leader who proclaims that he
Will win and do it YUGE!

I’d thought I’d see it as a joke
But I was not prepared
For the frenzy of the faithful;
Now I’m more than slightly scared.

The Stinging Withdrawl

Barefoot you reach
for candidacy to
    get partitioned.
    The hatred had divided
the grass.

    The suspense
was intense when
    earth failed to
accept the-
defeat.

    A drinking-
cloud will settle
    the score with
the flames.

    Consequently the-
  sky falls on
all the roses, making
  your vision blurred.

Premium MemberVote For Me

I would like to announce my presidential candidacy.
I would appreciate it if you'd vote for me.
If I were president do you know what I'd do?
Pretty much anything that I wanted to.
I'd have a first class seat on air force one
and an awesome pad in Washington.
I'd play golf all day with the heads of state
and if they brought beer, wouldn't that be great?
I can't wait.
Well there are a great many issues important to me
and so here is my campaign policy;
Legislation, occupation, education, organization,
administration, hospitalization, immigration, registration,
arbitration, equalization, integration, representation,
race relations, housing renovations, space stations, unified nations!
I Will Restore Our Once Great America!
Etc, etc, etc, etc.
Well it's the home of the brave and the land of the free,
and that's the funny thing about democracy
because a vote for me is a vote for me.
*
Again, I'd have an awesome pad in Washington DC
if you'd find it in your heart to vote for me.

Poertsoup

Poetic words flowing so naturally,

On this soup of aesthetic candidacy,

Epic verses releasing from one’s soul,

Touching the heart of young and old,

Radiating love with each comment,

Yare ideas to be shared in our convent,

Soup filled with ecstasy and despair,

Optimistic outlooks eager to be shared,

Unbelievable stories from people all over the world,

Poetic words now unfold from the minds of both boy and girl.

Your Excellency

The facade of your election;
Brings no accolade to the nation;
Your ambitions lack honesty;
And your actions are a travesty.

You travel abroad to collect honors;
Yet you ravel the region with horrors;
Some describe your style as canny;
Yet all ascribe your rule as tyranny.

With only your candidacy;
We have the ascendancy of autocracy;
We lack the decency of democracy;
We observe the supremacy of idiocy.

Misery Children,Mortal Life,And a Precious Peace So Free

Rabies Baby
Diseased old Granny
Fossilized Daddy
Traumatized Mommy
Hysterical Brother
Angry in-law nephew
Tobacco niece
Stove Top Cheetah pets
minus the complexity tonight
These individuals are lost
in a archaic sight
Frightened few are forever damned
in thy World without guide's wisdom in hand
Misery is behind every statue of our populace represented
How much can the Lord tolerate the misuse of his Kingdom
Toupee warheads
Minutemen granades
Politicians 2006
A milk of soured magnesia
It would not be bitter sweet
Many an honest Harry would contest
laying down their candidacy in an agony of defeat
Why
When
and a simple explanation to why we suffer down here
The Parents that raised me wanted to baptize
A silent voice came and whispered:

"He is not ready yet to see beyond those Eyes!"

Angels
Jesus
His Majesty too
do peer into the presence of our Rot but without Fear
moments
Scattered
I am 36
But no longer mattered

See you when we've finally reached the open door
Open it quietly
It is Heaven,forever-more
