Heavy Burdens

Heavy Burdens 
Always under pressure. 
With heavy burdens. 
Sometimes you're running out of daylight. 
Consumed by responsibilities. 
Running low on energy. 
Unexpected loss through grieving. 
So much on your plate. 
Never have a chance to breathe. 
Time is always flying. 
Kids are always needy. 
Never time for yourself. 
No choice but to carry on.

Knowledge's Burdens

Knowledge is to hold burdens -
messages no medicine can cure.
Pains no pills can palliate.
Fears no fumes could fumigate.
It's no wonder the older I grow, the more I know, 
the harder it is to endure

Trying to keep up but the load keeps me sinking, everyday a new struggle arise, my strength fail to keep up, the demand so high, running out of breath, while on my knees trying to pray.

Dismantling blows, from every direction, all aimed at fracturing my spirit, but still hope in the unknown, comforting my struggle.

Beneath the burdens of countless nights

Beneath the burdens of countless nights,
In the cursed silence of the soul's waiting room,
I sat, the last one, loneliness carved by the chisel of forgetfulness into the stone of my heart,
Blocking him - he who left without looking back,

During times when I’m beset with daily trials,
and burdened down with cares only life can bring.
The smile that graced my face has quickly vanished,
from within myself I’ve no more song to sing.

Then all at once my mind begins to wander,
to a shameful time upon a cruel tree.

Bearing My Burdens

Too impaired to even continue to care, if at all,
About how life can always seem so unfair for us all,
As long as I have inner strength to continue to bear it all.

I Only Carry My Own Burdens Now

I no longer use my back
to carry others burdens
worry I have kicked to the curb
I carry one hour at a time
and only my own burdens now

O' God May I Help Them With Their Burdens So You May Get the Glory-CR

May I share your burdens;
Shall I shed tears in your stead?
May I substitute those feelings you’re bleeding;

In the glory of our Father
May He allow me too?

I picked the emotion of sadness
That one is my bucket of blue
