Double Standards

The silence is deafening.
The Devil capers madly.
Soldiers revel in atrocities.
Demons slaughter the innocents.

The silence becomes thunderous.
Beasts brutalise the oppressed.
Their resistance is legendary.
Famine stalks the rubble.

The silence is shattered!
Strangers fight the iniquity.
Nations condemn the deaths.
… Still the murders continue.

The silence is deafening…
How is this “war”?
The victims are blamed.
The “chosen people”, praised.

Are all lives not equal?

Know Your Enemy

They don’t slaughter animals in a humane way

But then they don’t slaughter people humanely today,

In wars they brutalise them by killing them with drones

The don’t get their hands dirty they sit and watch from a safe zone,

Governments don’t care about animals or people in anyway

They only care for money and power which they increase day by day,

Poisoning us with chemicals, viruses and toxins

This truly is a grim world we are living in,

So we need to reclaim the wealth and the power

We need to reclaim the streets to stop us getting closer to the doomsday hour,

They’re destroying our environment yet keep denying climate change

They say they’re try to combat it but it’s all lies time and time again,

Don’t fall for their project fear and saying how they will protect you

They are the threat and risk and that’s the ing truth,

The got no souls, no empathy they are just callous brutal men

Who preside over us and curtail all our ing freedoms.

Broken People

Broken People

How ruffled a people we are, crinkled and cracked under the weight of economic hardship. Yet we attempt to grin and greet.

From their killer smoking barrels, innocent lives are snuffed away.
In the dark of the night, they abduct, rob, and brutalise. Did you say law enforcement? Tufiakwa! Like Nazgûl, they are agents of death.

SARS, FSARS, SWAT, no matter the rebaptism, this brutality must end. Justice must be done. Someone must be held accountable.

Premium MemberHuman Punch Bag Never Good Enough

Hate me
Berate me
Despise me
Deeply hurt me
Traumatise me
Use me
Ridicule me
And brutalise me
Hit me
Kick me
punch me
Reject me
Stamp and dance on my grave
And have a rave
Squeeze every molecule of happiness
From my wretched soul
Poke me in the eye
And stab me until I die
I am despicable
Forgettable
Unwanted
Unloved
Useless
Cursed to be born

This is how you make me feel
This life mine and real
I sleep and when I awake
The nightmare begins again
My heart so full of pain
So lonely and lost
Death a welcoming beckoning friend
Can't take any more,

Prolonged Stay In Power

One day,I stood on the mountain
Watching security forces using force to disperse demonstrators
Who had gathered in the commercial capital___
Blocked off traffic to a large part of the city:
To protest against their leaders' prolonged years in power.

His henchmen believe that he has kept his country,
On a relatively stable economic path:
But critics say at the expense of good governance.
He has won several elections and secured many terms in office___
Results that opposition parties denounce as fradulent.

Moreover it was a peaceful demostration.
But a large number of well-armed police,
Deployed by the oppressive regime :
Used water cannons, teargas, and other weapons,
To disperse and brutalise thousands of opposition supporters

And I saw several observers and journalists,
Attending the event being beaten by security personnel.
And they wounded many that assembled there,
They also, confiscated phones and digital cameras:
From anyone shooting images of the incident,
To make cover up of the worst military rule.
