Talk of the barnyard today were Daisy Debbie and Darlene
Three piglets whose mother is rarely and not often seen.
They are as sociable as she is elusive, shy, hidden and quiet.
That she is the mother of these piglets is truly a riot!
They must take after their daddy, observed the cow and horse.
They are spiffy and jiffy, dancing and prancing, usually off course.
Their snorting is loud, and they make themselves known.
They are as loud as a 747 who is being crankily flown.
Daisy, Debbie and Darlene, take after their grandma Sow.
She was a showgirl, a high stepper, that sow was a wow!
Three piglets in the barnyard who keep us all on our toes.
Where they will end up is anyone's guess, said the goat named Boze.
When his father-in-law got him
into the poultry biz in Rhode Island
Joe had not fully contemplated that
first day to market when he
when he failed to truss and bag the birds
properly, a holy-moly cock-up so
when he tossed them into his ’02
Honda Accord LX to parlay
the beasties down 95 South RI,
they managed to wriggle free
the chickens did, got loose
from the burlap sack
the chickens did, flapping anarchy,
and mayhem, and bad policy about
the Aught-Deux’s upscale cabin,
the mad bastard capons pocking
fine leatherette and Boze while
Bad Chicken Farmer Joe flailed away,
fowl and feathers, feathers and fowl
flailing, clawing, at the faux cherry
wheel, finally rip-cording his failed way
down exit 8A for Quonset Point,
where, at the light, the cross-walkers froze
glaciating, mightily at the cockerel mayhem
unraveling inside a popular Midclass Sedan.
Modlitwa o wschodzie slonca
Kazdy Twój wyrok przyjme twardy
Przed moca Twoja sie ukorze
Ale chron mnie, Panie, od pogardy
Od nienawisci strzez mnie, Boze
Wszak Tys jest niezmierzone dobro
Którego nie wyraza slowa
Wiec mnie od nienawisci obron
I od pogardy mnie zachowaj
Co postanowisz, niech sie zisci
Niechaj sie wola Twoja stanie
Ale zbaw mnie od nienawisci
Ocal mnie od pogardy Panie...

Dawn Prayer
To Your harshest judgments I resign myself
I am humbled by Your power
But protect me Lord from hatred
And shield me from contempt
Because You are boundless providence
The ineffable One
So give me refuge from hatred
And give me sanctuary from contempt
May Your wishes be carried out
Let Your will be done
But shield me from hatred
Deliver me from contempt, my Lord .
