you belong
you were born
mabe life was torn
don't let that stop you
you can get thur
just do
it too
don't let life go
let streng show
and not go to waste
fine
YOUR PLACES
Passion always fades
love seems to stay
over is this sherade
no time to joke today
People come and go
in your life and out
few get to know
what I am all about
So take a chance
give me your time
maybe just a dance
maybe your heart will be mine
you must believe in something
without me being to blame
constant is nothing
except that life can always change
Let it not be with per suave words
That I stand before men with today
But be a demonstration of how Jesus was
When He came to show us the way
Today in my life is the will to be real
When standing before all of mankind
To preach and teach the word of God
And the power it brings to ones mind
I have a desire to help all of my friends
By being a servant to all
And help them stay away from the things
In this life that will cause them to fall
But through it all deep in my heart
Is doing the Masters Will
And that my brothers within itself
Is the will to be real.
I want my life to count
To be meaningful in every way
This is what I hope for
Daily when I pray
For it to have a purpose
And not to just exist
To live the will of God
This is what I wish
Always showing love
And do it from my heart
But the most important thing
Is of being a man of God
Deep down in my soul
Are many do's and don't
The one thing for sure
I want my life to count.
Trapped within a mortal combat
My life is the prize
This game has swallowed my happiness and makes life a fight
Knowing none ever win
Death is all that's won
Another ghetto poem
Another ghetto story
Decisions and choices are within the battlefield
Gunshots describe my life
My stripes are my scars
My name have become numbers
Drowning my hope with dope
Washing the truth with lies
Misleading by misdirecting
Causing me to miss my blessings
The truth is worth confessing
I'm tired of the oppression
So tired of stressing
Faith is all that's left
But there is little to believe
Knowing no better
Faith is air
The preacher lines his pockets
Many go hungry
The pastor says have hope
But he doubts himself
This story is told by a million fold
Each day these stories are never old
Gathering thoughts
Others laugh
While watching my back
Hoping to see another calender flip
Pouring out liquor for the ones gone
My tears makes flowers grow
But it doesn't ease my soul
I've often wonder, why I couldn't comprehend, struggling through the
stares of life, never knowing the end. My rock-bottom seem much diff-
erent than most, your bottom of life prudentcy maybe to never strife to-
wards the abomination of a indulgent host. "But inspiration has shown me,
I have nowhere to go but up". Nowhere but up I say no-where to the terb
on the sidewalk. Life is not always a joyish thought, I have no-where to
go but up. Because, tire of being tire for only the lowest of heart.
"God answer prayers; Believing in yourself begins the first start".
Then you shall say, "Self", I've nowhere to go but up there's no turning
back. There's hope for tomorrow, I'm Attune to the best of me, the
name of this medication is Joy & Believe.
I'm a soul seeker a warrior destine for greatness a keeper
I stand for the truth I fight for justice I stand by great men I'm like no other
I look towards the sun when the day is done I behold myself with pride in my
heart
My life is fulfilled to do my master's will as I walk down this road of life
I don't think twice god has blessed me with this warm glow to let everybody
know
Who Am I
MY BROTHA'S KEEPER
