Thomas Lonigan 1844 to 1878 (34 years old)
Tom Lonigan married Charlotte in the Irish town of Bella Sligo.
He knew for her only the best life to give, to Australia they would go.
In 1871 Melbourne township they did make their way,
full of plans and ambition for the family to make hay.
Thomas Lonigan, don't you ever forget his name,
For not too long and with regret he would make his fame.
A man of principles and knowledge of right and wrong,
he knew what he should do and to the Police force he would belong.
After basic training in the job, to Benella he would go,
with Charlotte his loving wife and four children in tow.
A wonderful life in the new colony, how hard could it be?
To keep the peace and make life safe for people like you and me.
Tom Lonigan and his compatriot, Alexander Fitzpatrick.
Were sent to arrest Ned Kelly a dangerous and escaped convict.
The struggle that ensured, as Fitzpatrick later recalls,
That Kelly grabbed poor Lonigan and held onto his balls.
That scoundrel, Kelly at the time said, and this is very true,
If I ever shoot a man Tom Lonigan, it surely will be you.
The life of this bush policeman was tough to say the least,
low pay, hard work and for the family, no feast.
Constable McIntyre and Lonigan set camp one afternoon.
At Stringybark creek, Sergeant Kennedy and Scanlon to arrive sometime soon.
The outlaw Kelly gang an ambush they would make,
A shot was fired by Ned Kelly, sealing poor Lonigan's fate.
October 1878 the Kellly gang tried to get by force,
the Police to surrender, lay down their arms of course.
But Lonigan the hero, not wiling to submit,
Drew forth his weapon and to death he did commit.
Next time you hear Ned Kelly's name, think of Lonigan instead.
A man with a fine job to do and a family to keep fed.
He surrendered his life to keep the people safe and secure.
Not ever thinking that the honour of bravery he would precure.

Ballad
"Secret Lover"
Fight to live and never stop,
Give it hell till the casket drops,
Break these chains and find my self,
Shake this habit for my health,
Don't believe him when he lies,
Bitter sweetness my demise,
On my arms he leaves his mark,
Peaceful chaos in the dark,
Silent assassins claims another,
Innocent tears missing their mother,
Stolen away like a thief in the night,
Oblivious numbness fades into light,
Addicted to the peace found in the pain,
Kept in secret and Hidden in shame,
I fill the sting I see red cough and drift away,
Like a fool I chase this dragon though I need to slay,
With every kiss he steals some life taking from me breath,
Temptation whispers in my ear lies of a beautiful death,
I beg him To go but he knows Im lying,
Tainted is his love killing its certain I'm dying,
Every move he makes always in silence,
Im a wiling victim of his domestic violence,
Realization of illusion my distorted reality,
Sociopathic addiction and forgotten Fatality,
At first I believed him guess just blind ignorance,
Now Searching for his presence found in a rinse,
On a mission to escape although its imprisoned relief,
Aware of true intentions and recognized is this Greif,
Press on to the finish and beat these odds,
Memories soon to fade of a junkies' nods,
Stay strong and endure this rough weather,
For myself for my little ones gotta do better,
No EPO to keep him at bay,
Left with my thoughts so on my knees I pray,
Turn to God this time and really try,
Make a choice to live and not to die,
I must face him this monster that haunts,
Lingering In the shadows I hear his taunts,
I call him hank but he has many,
Call him what you will his names are plenty,
He is the one who takes my soul,
In truth he bought it some time ago,
The one that takes but doesn’t give,
The most feared predator to date to live,
Addiction shows to me no mercy,
Craving just a taste unquenched left thirsty,
Ill get it right I'll win this battle ill shine,
And keep on fighting this fight,
that wasn’t ever meant to be mine.

Lyric
Above the oceans,
the painting shan't remember,
you shall rustle me sweetly,
i wake eagerly,
on our outings,
below the nose,
the dale cannot shimmer,
i think i forgot to tell you that,
i love you,
yes!!!i love you so much,
even when i offended you,
you pretend as if you offended me,
and you forgive me,
how sweet is this love???
i bet i can't find any other love like this,
even though other people tempt me with their love,
but it wasn't like yours,
oh!!! i can't believe you just broke my heart,
after all my trust,
i tried begging you,
but you turned deaf ears,
you left my heart shattered,
but someone came into my life,
and fixed it,
yes!!! to fix it,
now i'm deeply in love with the person,
the name is JESUS,
how sweet is this name???
in fact, he is the reason why i'm alive today,
now we are together,
and i doubt if anything can come between us
ARE YOU WILING TO LOVE THIS SAME PERSON????

Narrative
I don’t believe Donald Trump should be impeached,
He’s brought light to the Presidency, a dynasty,
Of a long line of ‘born again’ believers, screeched,
Wiling government into a god-inspired fallacy.
Burocracy is not an heuristic term or value judgement -
It’s a rational roll of reasonable deliberations, business,
Mirroring the typical American citizen as sediment,
Which Mr Trump places, to his credit and best guess.
He’s not a force for power without love and freedom,
Stealing smiles from unlikely Democrats, Pub’s alike,
He gives the lesser the right to arbitrate and custom,
When climbing the hierarchy an eager workers’ hike.
He’s not killed five people, an individual’s sadness,
Another quinquennial would see America great again,
With Covid faced squarely and firmly by flatness,
Joe Biden will take it as efficient, practical and fain.
Let the people speak from the Representative’s House,
Not one view, but proffering all view’s to regulate,
Bold with speech, he’s turned the stiff upper clouse,
Into commerce’s flutter, so please give a vulgate.

Writing In The Dirt
A child I had a worrisome pain that hurt
so often that I simply wrote in the dirt
So great and often was this huge fight
a great need to just open up to write!
No need to buy paper or turn the page
we were so poor when I was at that age
Writing so soothed my body and mind
sent my spirit gifted treasures to find!
How well I remember pretending to be sick
staying home from school with that stick
Writing poems and exploring the wild woods
ignoring things that I never ever should!
So often late afternoon sitting in the shade
the poems and short stories I cleverly made
Left for the wind and rain to just wash away
joyfully began again the very next dry day!
Harvest time my dad sure knew my little trick
moaning and groaning , pretending to be sick
Father came up with his compromising plan
weekends write , other days work like a man!
Summers when brothers and I were not fighting
my creative soul was under a tree writing
So great was that pleasure and purest joy
truly a great gift to such a very poor boy!
Sweet memories of wiling away the long hours
ran inside only by too many summer showers
Long gone are days of writing on the ground
internet, a computer keyboard happily found!

I know her grief and her pain
I know the look in her eye
But her determination is her gain
And her attitude to strive is not shy
She walks with her head held high
She makes it seem easy, not hard at all
She is not wiling to give up and die
And she will get up after every fall
She has God on her side and hope in her heart
She has fought this for over ten years and ten more will be fought
She is my mom and she is courageous and smart
And she shows so much strength it gives me might

The ruling, wiling format
accustomed to its mitt,
concerned with daily door mats
to will their lifeless wit!
The cloister of content staff
all theirs, all ours, all kit
Ne're once restricting floor mats
approval as their gift!
Enhance no me're adjournment
I am not here to flit,
the truth in essay's crow spat
is sameness, sameness, spit!
And so, grave not my gross craft
that essay of de script
the truth in escrow's culled hat
remit, remit, remits!
The same old story's lulled shaft
continuations rift
to fill, to write, a form in
relating to its shift!
This labor's just a bore-in
remove me from the raft
my walk away just score in
I owe you only that!!!

yea I’m in high school living daily by the rules while the others are
doing stuff that they think is cool they always claim the teachers are
cruel but really they are just trying to help us young ones make it
through some kids run from the truth due to the life they have been put
through some parents don’t give a crap or two but some blessed
deny the fact that parents are there to see you through I’m writing
this verse from me to you some kids raised in the ghetto have a
place where morals don’t fit in their schedule all you have to do is
is fight to strive for anything you believe and be wiling to achieve
willing to succeed you just have to believe you can whoever you
want to be we shouldn’t play with our grades like it’s a game but
wanting our education to build into a career one day some of yall
are focused on the wrong thing the ig and twitter names are nothing
but a game yall talk 24/7 about money, dope, and fame but yall need
to focus on the right thing just put your mind to it and you can be
anything once again I say yea I’m just the average kid in high school
just trying to find my way

Free verse
Nature shaped the earth into the sphere
While leaving each piece of parts flats
To offer individual life places to grow
While rotating around the sun as a whole
For all individuals can thus equally share
The glare of brightness, warmth of the sunlight
And the calm of darkness, coolness of the night
Silver clouds floating high and drifting
In the sky, distributing rain, snow, and news
To quench the thirst of every life facing
And secure them happily growing
The wind is playing longing tunes
For fairness, justice, the yearning
For quality and gracious life to come
Nature is indeed charitable to everyone
Sharing rains and dew evenly to each land
Sunbeam is also assigned with the same lines
Chaining up sincerity and honesty hearts
And flowing streams of warmth hand to hand
The wind rises, and white clouds wander
They are guarding no one in the earthly world
Wiling to act against the provisions of nature
They are spreading the news of the future
That Heaven will arrive behind a United World
And the charming visions will emerge
Before, lives are going to live forever

Spending today
whilst wiling away
each hour
each minute
each second
Pottering about
doing nought
I am feeling
relaxed as can be
For today I have spent
with delightful intent
bathing in words
luxuriating in bubbles
with poetry cleansing my soul
erasing my troubles
sploshing
and splashing
I swim in her poetry puddles
just like Singing in the Rain
I love playing this game
becoming Gene Kelly again…

There’s poetry in your eyes,
bloodshot and bruised,
hunting like a vulture starved.
A God to those who find glory in grieving.
I’ve licked the poetry right off your lips,
hardened by time’s punch line,
cracked and weathered
by the screams you cannot bear to keep.
You are poetry’s loss
and I am you.
So let it seep from our pores
Let it mix in our tears
Let it shape the core of anyone wiling
Let it paint the night in hues of gold
Let it bind us in leather and make slaves of us all
Let it be fierce and wicked and cold and true
And let it shake our bones and swallow us whole
Let it be
Let it be
Just let it be.
And then maybe
Poetry will give us life
and set us free.

Who can love me like you
Sin after sin and your bac i havent seen yet
No one is as forgivin as you
No on listens and understands like you do
When times get rough i know i can always count on you
Thru my down fall you pic me up
Yea i found a true friend in you
Sometimes my soul may fall out of touch but you mend my soul
Another reason for lovin you
No matter what i can always turn to you
You are my sun when my clouds are blue
Even on the brighted days you make them brighter then the suns rays
You are my band-aid when i have a sore
I have faith in you
Trust in you
With out you my road is sure to close
I share the friendship we have wit so many more
But still at the end i always win havin the top score
I praise you not only because your giving and wiling
But you show me the right way and open my eyes to better ways and new
beginings
I praise you because my heart says so
Sometimes i may lose all sight when it come to you
I may stray away from my faith within you
But i will always love you
For you are my father and i put no one or thing before you
GOD take this as a word of faith, praise, and love
Take this as askin you to help me thru life when the devils pullin me from your
holy club
Take this as me praise'n you for who you are
And what you have help me become so far
Tears fall for you
Young but in touch i will always have time for you
3 to 5 times i take out time to talk to you
Morning, meal time, and night time pluse my personal time too
Tellin you i love you or tellin you how my day is goin because of you
But in the end i still come to realize you are my true best friend
Yes i found that in you
Hope'n that who ever reads this will find you in them too
Now that ive said my words to you there nothin else to do but say Aman for my
little talk wit youOW

There Will Come A Time…
There will come a time…
I shall cease to be.
One day, my heavenly father will be calling me!
There will come a time…
This home will be mine no more!
For one day soon, I’ll arrive
at “heaven’s shore.”
There will come a time…
My body will be “trading places>”
I shall be up yonder...
With “angelic faces.”
There will come a time…
I’ll not have to ponder.
When the roll of heaven is
“called up yander!”
There will come a time…
My life will surely be blessed.
As I hear my savior’s call;
“enter into heaven’s rest!”
This time I speak of will happen soon.
I’ll be in a heavenly mansion’s room!
How much time you have left.
However you may live…
Won’t you come to Jesus?
He’s so wiling to forgive!
HE offers life eternal. And has YOU
and ME in mind!
This is the day of salvation!
Now is the accepted time!

We hereby solemnly pledge on our sacred honor.
Fully realize, "now is the time which try men's
souls." Admitting, "we are in clear and present
danger! Fully recognizing we all need to rely
upon a higher power and authority
Than ourselves. "And they shall seek
Me and they shall find me when they
Shall search for me with all of their hearts."
Let us humbly pray for world peace
Justice and harmony." Let the flags
Of freedom and liberty fly high upon the
earth
"We are to love one another as I
Have Love you." Greater love has
No man than he who is wiling
To lay down his life for his
Brothers and Sisters!
And harmony. "Let us pray for the
Peace of Jerusalem and the middle
East" "Let us pray for world peace
And harmony." "There never was
A good war nor a bad peace."
"Now is the time for all good men to
Come to The aid of our country."
"Now is the time for good men
And women to come to the
Aid of their party.
"A house divided against
Itself can not stand."
" Ask not what your country
Can do for you, but ask what can you
Do for your country."
We "pledge alliance to the flag of the
United States Of America to the republic
for which It stands one nation under God
Indivisible with liberty and
Justice for all!
"The pen is mightier than the sword."
"Those who live by the sword must
Die by the sword." "You shall not kill!"
"Put on the whole armor of God."
"Your kingdom come your will be
Done on earth as it is in heaven.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear? the Lord is the
Strength of my life; of whom shall
I be afraid?"
"Let there be peace on earth and let
It begin with me. " Blessed are
The peace makers for they shall be
The children of God." Blessed are
The pure in heart for they shall
See God. "Blessed are the meek
For they shall inherit the earth."
Love in Christ Jesus!
