Best Wifetime Poems

Past Lovers.

As our eyes meet for the first time I knew it wasn't so,
        it was something in side
               something I felt
                     something I didn't know,

After our first kiss I was sure it wasn't the first time,
I was sure we stole a kissed before
under the moon light or on a beach shore
we had to have I felt it as your lips touched mine,

As I held you in my arms it felt natural like it's meant to be,
maybe we shared this as Romeo and Juliet
maybe we kissed as lovers in the 13th century
as newly weds in the 30's 40's,50's and 60's,

I could see you as time gos by as lovely as you are
it couldn't be just one life time you and I... this love...
like a fairy tale an old love story or how it use to and should be,
I dreamt of you before, wished for you before on a falling star,

There could be no other way it has to be I know it's true,
centuries ago we found one another
weather as close friends or passionate lovers
I can't only be blessed with just one life time of you.

Love Me Why - Thoughtful

I've never time for me,
as I'm always thinking of others.
Busy being a mother, a wife and daughter too.
Always on time for appointments,
never like to keep people waiting you see.
I seem to put up with waiting for life around me.
I never say anything, I don't really mind.
I try my best to keep loved ones happy.
Favorite things, I know what they like.
And not forgetting coffee and cake with mum and dad.
I'll always have time for them.
I'm a shoulder to cry on and an ear to lend,
Hold my hand and talk to me, I'll be there.
I've never time for me,
except on Sunday's.
When I'll have a lovely soak in the tub with a good book.
And a do not disturb sign on the door.

The Ex

I have an itch I cannot scratch,
This itch is a she.
I have an itch I cannot scratch,
Somewhere in behind me.

I have a wheel that need some grease,
All the time it squeaks.
I have a wheel that need some grease,
Every time she speaks.

I have a fly buzzing 'round,
It really is a pest.
I have a fly buzzing 'round,
To swat it would be best.

But all I do is tune her out,
And move on with my life.
And so I tune her out,
So much for the ex-wife...

My Wife Is So Silent and Yet So Majestic

One of the greatest joys of living on this old planet is the be married to such a
wonderful creature called Wife
Because of her I came to realize that all earths ladies deserve recognition unless
they decide to reject it; that they are just perfect in this life
From the first time we see them, perhaps around the age of five or six
By see them, I mean that our male hearts takes on a few extra clicks
And my few extra started a long time ago and I've kissed a few hands along the way
But many years have flown by in my book of life and the wife I have, I am so proud
she chose to stay
With a person such as I, who certainly don't deserve such a prize
I would gladly die for her and I would not hesitate to call it wise
My wife is silent by nature and she loves to sew and loves baseball and creates
such wonderful meals
Whenever I take a triffle more time to get to know her just a little bit more, she
never fails to knock me off of my wheels
A lifes limits seem to be very few and I have no doubt this could easily be a book
Of just how valuable and over-worked these creatures really are and still always
have the very certain majestic look
God bless all the wives and mothers
And the entire lady species to cover all the others

Night Buzz

Night Buzz
Loquacious wife snores,
His mind’s reprieve, time to rest;
Silent time to think.

Let's Go Home

It is no secret, you have my heart
from the start!
from the first time you smiled on me
and I discovered myself in love with you
no matter how long or far we stay apart
deep inside i know it's true
as strange as it may seem
(no, it's not just a dream)
that we are meant to be one, we two

like a bolt from the blue
striking like lightning
sudden, fierce and unexpected
but not at all frightening
...the telephone will ring, or
a knock will sound upon some door
or maybe we'll turn a corner
on some small street
in time and place yet unknown
it won't matter how long you've been gone.
you will take my hand in your own
smile on me
and say Let's go home
... and we will

Laundry Day

I'm pulling the rug out,
out from under your feet.
You're going to regret that you didn't savor the sweet.
And by the time you realize...
Realize where you went wrong...
By that time already, my scent will be gone.

It will take you a moment,
for it to gradually sink in.
But like tomorrow... it'll come.
And you will wonder where I've been.
Where I've gone...

But I'm leaving a dress behind.
The one with the muddy foot print.
So by the, "pulling the rug"...

You will know what I meant.

Let Her Bloom

Let Her Bloom

The first time a man meets her,
his lids flicker,
an appropriate reaction.

The first time a woman meets her,
her eyes pop out and coil on her forehead,
another appropriate reaction.

Who can blame either?
Today, who buys the canard
about the true, the good, the beautiful

in theory or in a woman?
Let them watch her as I did.
Let them frisk her for flaws

that will allow them to live
as they are, as they were,
as I was when I met her.

Till then, let her bloom
with my children
while I wonder, I try.

Premium Member Start Courting Again

There comes a time in every marriage
when a certain junction is reached
When you or your spouse will start to think
that your love has reached it's peak.

When times like this come around
Do something other than you have been
Forget the NOW and the rut that your in
And just start courting again.

A gentle touch for no reason at all, will start you on your way
A spontaneous dance with no music at all, anytime of the day
A trip just for ice cream as a midnight treat
And don't forget that all important massage for the feet

During a marriage you are bound
To fall in and out of love time and again
The true art of staying married is that you don't fall
out of love at the same time in the end

If you can recognize this when it occurs
You can get past this little crisis and then
Take the steps needed to bring back the love
Once you start courting again

A kiss when you pass in the hall
Or a hot passionate telephone call
Streak through the house buck nekkid together
Skinny dip in any weather
Feed each other red ripe strawberries
Any thing silly you did when first married

You may think I'm crazy or I've lost my mind
But just put away those fears
This has worked for my Husband and I
For the past Thirty three (+) years

It doesn't have to cost lots of money
In fact it's better when free
I bet when you first married, you were as broke
as any new couple would be

Take these words of advice to heart
And have fun when your with her or him
Just keep it spontaneous and silly
When you start courting again
