My thoughts drift back to my childhood days
Of so many years ago
All the family gathered by a roaring fire
Whilst outside glistens with sparkling snow

We had such fun making snow angels and snowmen
Our little frozen fingers and rosy faces were aglow
Memories of Christmas now firmly in the past
I look back on happy days of so long ago

Our Christmas tree was draped with tiny twinkling lights,
Bright baubles, tinsel and candy canes just for our delight
Oh how the years have flown by so fast
Sadly, like the snowflakes our childhood days don’t last

I scan the list of Christmas cards that I’ve got to write
Each year it grows shorter, with loved ones we now miss
I dream of turning back the clock and returning to the past
My memories of Christmas are ones I hope will always last

One Christmas eve, we walked outside, to see the colors glow
Along the street, each house was lit, our breaths as white as snow

The air was sharp, and the world was white, and flakes were falling 'round
We watched it fall, turned off the lights, to crawl between the down

We slept a bit, till dawn peeked in, to wake our drowsy eyes
Our coffee sipped, now warmed and fit, we took a walk outside

The morning chilled, was crystal clear, along the windswept hills
The world was white, from snow last night, with views serene and still

A hush about, nowhere to rush, at least that’s how it seemed
We walked along a frozen stream, as if in slumber's dream

The arching sky, surrounded eyes, with a morning star that shined
As sun came up to tint the snow, with pink among the pines

The birds and deer had reappeared, and all the things that creep
Below the hills, the sparkling town, was soon aroused from sleep

The world had changed from winter’s blue to soft and ermine white
A snow globe world, was all aglow, of winter kissed delight

The Christmas lights, of red and green, had shone a rainbow hue
upon the snow, that lined the streets, turned on before the sun

Our souls refreshed, with frosty breath, we journeyed home in ease
Contentment came on silken wings, and the world was filled with peace

White Christmas

Our winter days can bring that snow
Which sometimes we're not ready for.
An inconvenience, for we know,
It can become a heavy chore.

But Christmas Eve is not complete
Without her blanket, smooth and white.
And Christmas morn we love to greet
White beauty spread throughout the night.

To watch the snowflakes gently fall
In glow of moonlight, Christmas Eve,
Observe the whiteness drift and sprawl;
A blanket made with magic weave.

Then in the morn, in window's view,
     Those pristine mounds of snow we see;
Such purity 'neath sky of blue
Fills up our hearts with Christmas glee.

We dream of Christmas pure and white
     Somehow expect that lovely sight
As symbol of the love and light
That shines at Christmastime so bright.

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
with the snow laying on top of the roof
and the sound of Santa's reindeers hoof
as they make their rounds throughout the town
it rings out such a joyful sound.

A white Christmas would be so lovely and bright
it gives you the feeling that dreams still take flight
Oh what a wonderful sight it would be
to have a white Christmas around my tree

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas and the snowman I'll make
and afterwards we'll settle in and take a coffee break
Oh Christmas, Oh Christmas please paint the canvas white
and create a Winter wonderland while I'm asleep tonight.

Presents opened by the hearth,
Gifts of goodness from the heart.

Christmas snow is falling down,
A fresh white blanket for the town.

Little eyes are opened wide,
Snowmen and angels dance inside.

A pure "White Christmas" for us all.
Warm inside, we watch it fall.

Happy as our hearts are lifted,
A Christmas present God has gifted!

The winds were crisp on Christmas day
And the skies were all wrapped up in gray
Children unwrapped their presents with eyes all aglow
As the skies above presented us with snow

As snowflakes fell softly to the ground
It reminded many of that old Christmas song
Where dreams of a white Christmas abound
As the snow fell all day long

Swirling snowflakes gave the day a certain charm
While by the fireplace we kept warm
Then the snow tapered off that night
Glistening in the colorful Christmas lights

Hoping that all your presents were just right
That peace and love was your discovery
In this season of joy and delight
And that all your Christmases are merry
                                    ---

A white Christmas Tree
is placed by the large window
Ready to be decorated

With the string of lights
Placed around the Christmas tree
Shines brightly with red lights

I'm dreaming of you this Christmas,
And the ones of yesteryears,
When the snow was falling,
And we were kissing,
And I had no need for tears.

I'm dreaming of you this Christmas,
With every decoration I hang,
Dreaming of the carols we sang,
At our wedding when bells rang.

I'm dreaming of you this Christmas,
And the ones of yesteryears,
When the snow was falling,
And we were kissing,
And I had no need for tears.

I'm dreaming of you this Christmas,
With every decoration I hang,
Dreaming of the carols we sang,
At our wedding when bells rang.

The street lights stood as sentinels
 As snowflakes gently fell
 Christmas presents were all unwrapped
 As snow glistened from rooftops

The fir tree wore a coat of white
 And Christmas lights shone bright
Santa and his sleigh rode by
As children waved bye - bye

 Carolers sang with hearts aglow
some of my favorite yuletide songs
As the chorus grew I sang along
Let it snow - let it snow - let it snow

Premium Member I'M Dreaming of a White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
Just like the ones we've always known.
Where the tree tops glisten and geese are wishin',
That sooner South they would have flown.

Oh I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
As I look out my window pane,
Where though the yards are barren folks are still preparin',
To welcome snow time once again.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
As I walk through the streets of town,
Where the lights are cheery and folks are merry,
And the styro-foam snowmen abound.

When the tree stand up
Branches one
Are put into place
The cord lights are wrapped
Around the whole tree

Next the blubs areup
In red, green, white, gold
Nomes , red trucks, cupcakes
All laced on the tree
Then more blubs are placed

Making the white tree
Beauty stand out more
Then Sparkles lay down
On the tree skirt
Content to be there

I'm wishing for a white kitten
or a playful cute little pup
Christmas is glowing and my heart is opening
for a pet with a nice close-up

I'm wishing for a white kitten
or maybe a pet that is black
every ball on my tree will crack
and each treasured curio knickknack

I'm wishing for a white kitten
my whole home they will takeover
will be under my bedcover
and stuff on sills will be knocked over

Christmas is glowing and my heart is opening
for a pet with a nice close-up

I'm wishing for a white kitten
I can hear the kitten purring
and I can feel my heart stirring
truth told a white kitten preferring
