Warring Hypocrisy

I toss the coin anxiously
For both sides perturb and dazzle me…

The first side, well, it is a beauty to say the least
It is clear, crisp, like fresh pages of a favorite book
Peace offers a stronghold in its rhythmic and quiet composure
It is unassuming in all that it is…it is truth, with open arms
Like droplets of rain against my neck,
It is refreshing to caress its cooling pages,
Best of all, it heals when I choose to feel it and live it…
This side is strong, and often shames my desire for the other…

The other side, I gaze upon it often, its presence so shocking
I often doubt it even exists as much as I sense in my life
Then I remember that it surrounds me,
A universe of glow aching to crawl into my night
Wishing to embrace me, so it may reveal its secrets to me
I am drawn to its perplexity, its grand design…
Its fiery resilience silences my prayers to puddles of pleasure
It is a hard-heated side becrossing all sides… stopping all resistance…

I toss the coin high, mindful of its landing,
Though as it does it spins furiously upon my heart and mind,
 Caught in the blurry winds of dissonance and rivalry

How distressing it is to see them collide together in all that they are…
For I want them both to win…I want them both desperately
But only one side will dominate in the end
And only I know who will win,
As I set this silent war of hypocrisy

Free…
Free into the stars, where that unknown wisdom will be revealed in future days
I had to set it free…
For there are still other sides we must struggle to let go of
Touched by so many hands before us…
We must choose the side to say goodbye to
As we fight to focus our fleeting attention
Upon the one and only side that will touch the face of Providence

Warring Warriors

Warring wounded Warriors winded,
as they stand by the blood-stained shore;
Battalions breathily bruised and bended,
 as they begin to march on for more…
Evil encounters evolve and enslave,
for their conquering captains do command;
As demons devour and deprave,
 decompositional defaults within their demand.

Lachrymal lonely landscapes lament,
as deceptions and illusions take control;
Edacious entombment evokes,
evil incarnates infiltrating the immortal soul…
Weapons of war wager wild,
 armored ambient angels lift their golden swords;
Egocentric evil must be exiled,
as we recover and resurrect for history records.

The Warring Curses

We stood atop God's hill
among God's hills
and saw no mountains
where mountains are not seen,
but gazed hatefully, fearfully, longingly
into Satan's valley.
Ours was the grandest little hill,
and below was the wickedest valley,
and between was the contest of angels dark and fair
where the living is not easy
and the dying is not quick.
At once we knew both
all that there was to be known
and nothing that could be known.
Once born, twice seduced, yet more,
we dared to peer sideways and downward
and morbidly at the edge of the plague.
And weary, or indifferent,
some were claimed,
vanished into the core of the depraved,
where the dying is not easy
for the killing is not quick.
The warring curses were one.

Pride jumped into a frightening battle,
Too selfish, this war was never settled,
Almost so dark, felt like stars would rattle.
Inside, pride’s heart and spirit were mettled.

Pride rejected kindness and charity,
She listened to the dark world of conceit,
While I avoided her sincerity,
Knowing her dark vengeance was bittersweet.

Refusing to heed soul’s humility,
Pride, she’d surely bleed the murkiest grief,
Battling in a war called futility,
Pride will get you nowhere, that’s my belief!

Warring Angels-Prayers For Lia and Demetrios

In your darkness you will find the light,
Within the light you will find the Lord…
Warring Angels assemble to unite,
Raising their golden shield and sword…

All that is evil must come to an end,
Famine, sickness and raging war…
The Angels are preparing to defend,
The Lord commands with a loving pour…

Stars are aligning before the battle,
Spiritual star seeds will come to stand…
All evil that is left will shake and rattle,
For the Lord will be throughout the land…

Calling on all Angels of the Holy Trinity,
Fighting for love of the Lord’s eternity.

This poem is dedicated to our dear friend Demetrios Trifiatis and his female friend Lia...she suffers from Myelodysplastic Syndrome which causes Leukemia.
Dear poetic sisters & brothers, let's send them our prayers and love...god bless all and especially LIA .

Premium Member WARRING FOR PEACE: OXYMORONIC!

Where there is war,
There can be no peace;
No matter who or where you are,
We must, as one, tame this vicious beast:-

Where there is war,
There can be no peace;
No matter who are where you are
Chanting "War For Peace", must cease:-

It's like a shark with an octopus' head in its jaw,
Changing to t it prey, "Thanks for this killing  tasty piece;
And thanks to the gods of water, be floodedor this blood of ocean war":-
Oh, let the rumors of war be tabooed and forbidden:
Let peace on Earth and good will to all be as has been written:-

May the thunder of hope and elighten spirit sky our ways,
And may God's precious clouds of joy blacken with coveted love;
That in the coming remaining time in our lives' coming days,
Our blessed Earth will be flooded with raining peace from above;
And may that oxymonic warring chant be forever shoved:-

Premium Member THE ABSURDITY OF WARRING FOR PEACE

Evilly absurd,
Bombing lives doesn’t win peace;
Just wishful power:-
War and peace are antonyms.
You can’t make them synonyms:-

War can not bring peace,
Just collateral damage,
And high death rates:-
Peace comes with labors of love,
Nourished by God’s healing grace:-

War only knows hate,
Bombing homes, schools, and churches,
Filled with peaceful lives:-
When will this world ever be
A world rooted in love’s peace?!

Warring With Warren

Warring With Warren

Here is a warning;
Don't be warring with Warren;
May end up mourning.

Warring With Ghosts

You begin to know life when you stop fighting with your past
preventing you from living your life
and wasting your valuable time
warring with ghosts

In a society where only material things are valued
they fall apart when confronted with the truth of Life
God is love, love created us all but if you don’t believe in God,
then believe in your potential

Love is the language of the heart, potential the amount you can give
I always remember we are our future
trying to exist without your love makes me a sorry ole sod
easy math to figure no matter where you stand

“Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish”

              Sweet bitter bite
        stirs the tree snake — Eden’s crumbling.
      The seed of Eve trembling...petals turn white.
        Adamic-tongue fumbling.
  Father of lights, his promise to the flailing man —
  sepulcher - womb of new beginnings, a good plan.
    Flickering windows! Falling clan.
  Dueling swords plunge into deep soil — the warring heights.

A Warring Self Gives Way

Poised, utterly mesmerized on the potentiality lying ahead
It seems a dream descended from the sky
Congruency meets past preparation
Unknowingly there was logic in total impulsive bashing
My heart resonates the glorious void
Captured in a wingless open terrain
Peace and response
Change and connection

Be of good cheer
For in the end
Death takes all

Be of good cheer
For violence toils
To usher peace

Be of good cheer
For chaotic times
Prelude grand grace

Be of good cheer
For evil shadows
What goodness lives

Be of good cheer
For fear is empty
Where faith fulfills

Be of good cheer
For love forever
Rules the world

Be of good cheer
For peace of heart
Will change the world

Be of good cheer
Despite great pains
That blame conceives

Be of good cheer
For as you start
With death, you live

Be of good cheer
For all journeys end
With lessons learn

Be of good cheer
For as you live
Purge all evil

Be of good cheer
For dark shadows flee
When light illuminates

Premium Member We Are Warring Against Satan and His Evil Hordes-

We are at war;
Waring powers, seek to over throw;
A battle wages on;
Against Satan and his hordes;

Darlings therefore, put on every piece;
Every piece of God's armor;
so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil;
Then after the battle you will still be standing firm;
Beloved put on the armor;
So that you can stand;
Against  the wiles of the enemy the devil;

We are at war;
Waring powers, seek to over throw us;
A battle wages on our wrong choices, and demons;
Against Satan and his hordes;
