The Warring Heights
“Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish”
(Luke 13:4–5)
Sweet bitter bite
stirs the tree snake — Eden’s crumbling.
The seed of Eve trembling...petals turn white.
Adamic-tongue fumbling.
Father of lights, his promise to the flailing man —
sepulcher - womb of new beginnings, a good plan.
Flickering windows! Falling clan.
Dueling swords plunge into deep soil — the warring heights.
