War For Love

You know I love you
I love my country more
Enemies around like sharks
Can't hide in a bunker anymore

I kissed you deep
We were in love
The tides rocked our love boat
I have to calm the seas

Can't wait I have
to save my motherland
Pay any price but win
to be in your arms for ever

Am always with you my dear
in your heart and mind
Wipe away your tear
Shall be back soon my dear

I know it sounds hollow
War can't buy peace
Bombs shatter hearts
Guns can't teach love

Don't my enemies ever love
My guns keep booming
My eyes are wet
I call war for love

On 26 Nov 2008, terrorists from Pakistan gunned down
innocent children, women and men in Mumbai
This is my tribute to the Policemen who risked their lives
                                            to save the civilians.

Premium Member The Storyteller

I was mesmerized by the tales he told
of foreign lands and shores.
Tales of bravery and men so bold
going off to fight their wars.

Of foreign lands and shores,
his stories hold rapt attention.
Going off to fight their wars
immersed in intrigue and tension.

His stories hold rapt attention
to all who gather to hear.
Immersed in intrigue and tension,
stories of bravery and fear.

To all who gather to hear
from this storyteller so great,
stories of bravery and fear,
stories of love and hate.

From this storyteller so great,
tales of bravery and men so bold.
Stories of love and hate.
I was mesmerized by the tales he told.

Soldier of Love

He was a warrior
Brave and true
An American soldier
Of World War II
Many battles he did see
On the frontlines of Germany
He fought with pride
He fought with strength
His friends of war
He did defend
He saved the lives
Of soldiers and Jews
Every life saved
His intent was true
His honor and glory on the
Battlefield did shine
His faithfulness to his country
Will live for all time
He was a proud soldier
Strong and true
A soldier who loved
Both me and you
For our freedom
He did fight
To make sure all of our
Days would be bright
To this soldier both
Brave and strong
To our Grandfather
Who is now gone
Your love and honor
Will always live on

Dedication
To our grandfather Earl W. Smith. You are no longer with us but we will cherish your
memories forever. We love you for the freedom you provided us and for the happiness you
gave us while you were alive.
