To Touch a Fallen Comrade

To touch a fallen comrade and find his life line strong
Will form a lasting bond that lingers on and on
You’ll find your heart is beating as if it’s lost in song
To touch a fallen comrade and find his life line strong
But
To touch a fallen comrade and find his life is gone
To be there as he passes into the great beyond
You’ll find your heart is beating but something feels all wrong
To touch a fallen comrade and find his life is gone
So
Let’s say a prayer for soldiers so they can all hold on
And maybe prayers will help them when everything goes wrong
You’ll find your heart is beating and keeping spirits strong
Let’s say a prayer for soldiers before they all are gone

Let us all now bow our heads
Or go down on bended knee
And pray our Lord will grant us
This soldier’s fervent plea
Lord, keep your eye on soldiers
Wherever they might be
Fighting for their country
Setting people free
Guide their hands and hearts Lord
So they can follow thee
Lord, touch these fallen comrades
And give them heaven’s key
Keep your eyes on soldiers
Wherever they might be

Premium Member Futility of War

F or each life lost a mother grieves
U ntil the last shot is fired she will never sleep.
T ears will fall as we count the cost.
I ll winds blow as the war goes on.
L ove must prevail for peace to win
I t must stay strong to make evil give in.
T ime ticks by with each life snuffed out.
Y et no lessons are learned as the enemies shout

O f rights and power,
F orce and might,

W illing the other to acknowledge they are right.
A lways remember that for each life lost
R emains a nation counting the cost.

But When the World?

He told her not to move,
Though fear showed in her eyes
She dare not disobey.
So the lonely figure
Stood and waited,
While tears fell

Time stretched,
Her pitiful cries
Grew louder,
 Until they carried
To merciful ears,
And melting hearts.

And so they came,
Rescuers, ready
To lift her away
From the madness
Of men....

They saw
A life barely lived,
Trembling in confusion.
Her two little cheeks
Stained with tears.
Yet still, she would not move.

Soothing voices whispered,
She listened.
Loving hearts showed,
She trusted.
Strong arms reached out,
She yielded.
Her fears calmed.
Her tears stopped.

And then her heart stopped.

She was only two.
Her life blown apart
And that of her deliverers.
Not a child,
Just a means
To an end,
To the hands of evil
That detonated death.

Now she is at peace.
But, when the world?

I read in our daily paper about how little children are used as decoys.
When rescuers come to save them from possible dangers they may
be facing because of the war They are unaware, the enemy are watching
waiting to detonate a bomb where the child is standing.
This upset me so much,I was moved to write about it..

My Perception of War As An Ex Soldier

The problem with war is not just confined to the front lines where the battle rages on. A
single shot can be traced all the way back home. For instance a young man stood on the
front line takes a single shot to his stomach, the patrol he is on is down one man, it takes two
pilots and 2 medics to collect the injured solier and take him to a feild hospital, where a team
fight to save his life. One of the medics, who work on him knows the injured soldier very
well. He feels distraught working to save the life of his friend. The young soldier's life can not
be saved and passes away. When the medic telephones home to his loving family he tells
them of the sad news that his friend has died doing the job he loved.

The family of the deceased war hero get an unsuspected knock on the door which, breaks
their hearts. One shot of a gun, one round, one family is destroyed, another family feels the
loss knowing thier loved one fought but couldnt save the life of his friend, and a full company
of heroes feeling overwhelmed with sadness for thier fallen comrade, and a growing fuel of
hate for an unforgiving enemy.

This is an example of one hero falling, and what effect it has had on so many peoples lives.
Imagine the domino effect when over one hundred soldiers have died in one conflict, and
remember there is two war zones at present, Afghanistan, Iraq and dont forget the peace
keeping missions.

How many have to die or get left severely injured or disabled before someone stands up and
says no more?

War is not particular about religion, in most religions murder and hate is forbidden, but when
a religious man fires his rifle at an enemy, does he say to himself forgive me God for i have
sinned? War does not care for religion. For all of those who have been in a war, who have
stood in the heart of a foreign land tight fisted without fear, i commend you for we all fought
an ageless war against an unforgiving enemy.

Do we all know what we are fighting for, not the lies the politicians bring, i mean the cold
hard truth about why our government want that far away land. Would you still go and fight?
All i can say is a few hundred men and women have paid the ultimate sacrifice for what i can
make is oil, is it really worth it? and how long have this got to go on?

Tormented

Tormented

A crude soul remained, of a life of a hero silent but brave. Tormented with dreams of days
gone past, tormented of lives of whose destiny didn’t surpass. It wasn’t a gun or a knife that
altered his way; it was the reckless humanitarian way. To watch kids as hard as veterans to
watch a country broke but resilient and brave. This changed the mindset of a selfish man this
changed the outlook, of a spiteful man, a man trying to survive the darkest desires of a sick
spiteful way. Not murder but genocide, not ethnic cleansing but a deviant sick mindset of a
twisted soul, breaded out to an unsuspecting nation. A nation without a goal but bloody
violence, in its toll.

How I long to see him there, standing toe to toe with those who are left reeling with they’re
despair.

The torture remained taking innocence along in its way, taking lives filling graves all for the
name which, the deviance betrayed. To be human the soul remains, when tortured and
beaten beyond repair, how can a soul remain. How can they stand tall when all that is left is
an empty black hole, with memories which once were good, all turning sour as they knew
they would, ruining life in such a sick violent way. I see those tortured souls, not giving up
not letting go. They are in his dreams they are in his past hopefully this felling of hurt will
succumb and not last.

Civil unrest remains in the heart, not in soul.
How I wish to see them there, unarmed and afraid, the same way they left the innocent who
remained, left in the darkest coldest of days in a country so broke but so brave.

Sleep well tonight for you hold the flag of your country, in your eyes, power of all nations in
your arms, for you we salute our proudest day, it was not what we done but what you gave,
this honour and resilience is what made you all so brave.

Welcome To the Frontlines

Soldiers!
Move!
Running to the other side
Bullet fly towards us all
I see my brothers fall dead
How the wind drips the blood dust on my face
But i gotta make it
A gun on hand
A missile ahead
All i gotta do is plant the bomb
Kill all who steps ahead
Take no prisoners
This is no game
Is life over the front line
Is what we were told to do
Is what we choose to do
Now go out there and show them real fury
The hatred in your heart use it as a riffle
The rage build up as a bomb
And the strength of all lands as a victory
Destroy the bunkers
Destroy the sand
This waters will only flow the blood of history
Lead the weapons out the other side
No love here
This is not a dream
Is all reality
Become the god you wanted
Judge with your guns the life you never created
Believe it all
Im glad you listen well
Now that you destroyed the land
I take the victory
The money you won goes for me
The land you destroyed you pay for
No pick up for you
Now perish alongside your sins!

Kill Your Enemies

Defending my life against your enemies.
The ones that will tear my flesh from bone.
The ones that will put steel through the air.
Raining down as we sleep, get to the bunker.
All the weight from the gear and the ammo.
Weighing me down, boots to the ground.
The one that will cut through my throat.
While his buddy enjoys a few smokes.
Fighting my sleep and fighting fatigue,
Because I am defending my life against your enemies.
Killing your enemies with the guns you provide.
Bombarding the ones with bombs you provide.
Tracking them down with satellites high in the sky.
They would do the same to us with the guns you provide.
Bombard our convoys with the bombs you provide.
Shoot us the hell up with ammo you provide.
Still Im killing your enemies with the guns you provide.
Now Im all alone with the nightmares you gave me.
I fought for my country now it cannot save me.
I am not bitter because they did always pay me.
You and your enemies are like thorns in my ass.
Because I judge my day on how much bloods in the grass.
Blood which makes the green grass grow,
Blood that’s dripping from my hands.
Killing the ones who will kill me.
Killing the ones who will kill me for you.

Why Oh Why

" Why Oh Why "

Why mom and dad why?

Was I destined and born into this life to die
this terrorist war makes many american’s hurt and cry.

our awesome super power america may be going to war
and now I may cease to exist this life no more.

I grew up and finished school with a 3.5
I am so proud to be young and alive.

I am 18 now and so ready for life
find someone special and make her my wife.

Our current job market and economy is really bad
all of this really makes me mad and so sad.

I joined the army for income stability
and now I must face this ugly reality.

Of fighting a war in a foreign country
and possibly become a statistical casualty.

You see mom, dad, I want to live
I have strong morals, education, lots to give.

I am too young to go to war and maybe die
why mom and dad, Why Oh Why...

The Veteran Bomber

.

He had gone round about what he had been through inside out.
The bomber's cockpit taught him what power is all about:
Feeling like Zeus hurling down at will thunderbolts at foes
as he criss-crossed skies, strafing wherever the cross-hair goes.

Awesome might in his fingers, life and death on his trigger.
been there, done that, no big dealfor this retiree-bomber.
In his waning years, still lost as to what it was about,
the ultimate end, doubting the benefit of the doubt.

He recalled lines heard long ago on being brave, strong and true.
Said he was, but with rockets he had to fire, bombs to strew,
he must have rocked the world with blasts his whole life through,
obeyed the dark side of combat command, red, white and blue.

.

Died Red ~ripple~

The bloody moon of yesterday
gave way to valor's mournful sun.
The scarlet streams had overflown;
the loss of life can't be undone.

Amongst the burnt bouquets of flesh,
there lay a man still uncorrupt.
Although his time was surely short,
he'd yet to sip the reaper's cup.

Turned toward the ground, his weary eyes
met face to face with carnal pools.
Reflections of his dearest love
came forth, despite surroundings cruel.

A single drop of sorrow fell
which caused her ripples to depart.
He scrunched his eyes with fervor as
the rings grew distant from her heart.

Above, the vultures danced with death;
he knew his life was soon to close.
Although, he thought it chivalrous
to die the hue of fallen rose.

His corpse cried crimson tears that day;
dyed red, the soldier passed away.

Ashes Through the Dawn

Bullets forever fly, it'll never stop.
Angels and demons die, while mortals continue to drop.
Fight for the empires, you willingly die for.
All are liars, yet the insnare more.
A shot to the head, the strike of a tongue.
They're all dead, though so young.
Raping democracy, perverting the truth.
Can no one see, they're killing the youth.
Your life ends, by a look through the scope.
No life or friends, not a shred of hope.
Dead men tell no tales, yet I can hear.
The heart beat fails, causing the stain of another tear.
You believed them, do you feel betrayed?
Dying for the system, the tricks been played.
No such thing as free speech, for no one can speak.
All you have to do is reach, yet you're too weak.
Take your remorse, once you are dead.
For the country of course!, help the message spread.
Bow before your king, as the unknowing fool.
You're taking everything, for you're just a tool.
Take in the abuse, take your last breath.
You've served your use, now walk into death.
Darkened days, and even darker nights.
Choose your many ways, to accept heavenly light.
Watch the spreading smile, of your loving nation.
Just take in the denial, and serve your station.
Ashes through the dawn, will slowly break you.
Your breath is gone, what now is there to do?
Horror steadily grows, as shadows fall.
No one knows, no one can hear the agonized call.
As hearts grow still, do you accept defeat?
Do you have the will, to get out of your seat?
Will you still kill, as bullets rip through flesh and meat?

Premium Member Our Son, Our Tears, Our Tomorrow

Born from my soul new to this earth
This marvel of life that we call birth

Dedication endurance, gestation of time
To hold him so close our son so fine

Tears from my eyes, fulfilment of joy
Proud parents we are of our little boy

We look to tomorrow to live our lives
As we remember his dad whom fate has deprived

He was a soldier, just nineteen years old
Too early to leave us for his young life to fold

At Southampton Docks, where I waved him farewell
My tears were so different our future looked swell

Frequent letters arrived declaring our love
To the birth of our son a gift from above

Then came the day your whole world falls apart
A knock at the door, where do they start

They sit you down, knowing the words you will hear
My eyes start to swell, with a different tear

They tell of my husband, father to our son
Heroic in war, lost to the enemy gun

They leave, the door closes, I'm in momentary empty
My life not that long ago was blissful of plenty

We said our farewells my son and I
With a lifetime of tears I will internally cry

King Krimp

Set forth a task at hand
Meant for no one to understand
Dominate this God forsaken place
Yield the power of steel
-- Wield the master plan --
I'll be damned
If you take this land
From within my grasp
-- You pathetic little man --

..Divide and conquer...
One by one
Infiltrate the numbers
Lambs to the slaughter
Self proclaimed
To wear the crown of endowment
I shall have
What is mine to have
By my command
-- Or by my own hand! --

From out of the ruins
A natural born ruler
..No longer subdued...
Slay the bastards
That held me captive
Bonds are broken
And I'm attacking

A merciless heart
For what you made me start
I will kill you all
That played a part
Others will surrender unto me
(Bend at the knee)
-- Beg for a life --
 For an act of mercy

What am I?
Something undefined
But I will cripple your bones
And Krimp your mind
Who am I?
You will recognize
Your master & commander
When I stand before your eyes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
*[chorus]*
Follow me
Or my sword will be
The last thing that you'll ever see
Abide my rule
Or I will run you through
Left for the wolves
To feast on flesh & bone
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

You people can't see
My ghost is really me
Manifested into an entity
I have come to reap the harvest before me
Then till the earth
Before it’s re-birth
Of a prosperous seed
That re-kindles the flame in humanity
Ignite the spark
Of what will be
For I am not alone
I come written out of stone
Out of ancient days untold
  Memories of a life
A midnight dream for most
Suppress your foe
To express your woe
Such a miserable life
The life of a man
-- In all of his disgustingness –

-- Boz

Almost One Ago

Blood has been spilled
Wounds cry out
Relief is never found
Men inside shallow graves
Deaf to any sound
Burning flames lick the wounds
Many among the dead
Troops of headless soldiers
Laying all around

Those among the living
Cry out for some relief
Tortured all in hiding
From fear they run, none free
Help arrives for no one
Like from the pit of hell
Riddled with the shrapnel
Weapons deemed to kill

For those among survivors
There is no place to dwell
The life once lived and once enjoyed
Forever gone, farewell
Picking up the pieces to start life a new
For these it’s not an option
Peace for them is thru

Only hope that does remain
If death will be their friend
Ending pain and suffering
There is no God for them
What a way to live a life
What a way to go
Living in the town
Called Almost Once Ago

War Never Fought

In a battle field ready to fight
my conscience is not at rest
until darkness prevails on my sight
scared with my gun on my chest,
I look forward not to fight.
Taking a life is like a pest
to the creation of light,
A service which I'm not at my best
but I prefer to live a life of plight.
