Best Visionarypeople Poems
We stood hand over heart as the flag was unfurled
We were sheltered from the real world
All men are created equal is what they did teach
Never realizing, they don’t practice what they preach
Who said poor? We were rich beyond our dreams
Working to make ends meet, endlessly, it seems
There were Italians and Jews, Lithuanians and Greeks
Puerto Ricans and Poles, Germans and Dutch
No matter what your nationality or color was
We were neighbors. So, it didn’t matter much
I have memories of neighbors walking in our front door
Nobody knocking, just dropping in
I have memories of children playing on the parlor floor
Nobody judging the color of skin
Our riches were neighbors. Affluence carried no weight
We were sheltered from bigotry, sheltered from hate
God bless the children who knew neither hatred nor fear
God damn the people who brought those things here
When there is acceptance beyond what the eyes see
Then perhaps we can call this the land of the free
When there is truly no master and truly no slave
Then perhaps we can call this the home of the brave
We need to see the unity we’ve not had in the past
If we continue to hate, our country can’t last
If the American people can stand side by side
Then we can restore our American pride
When we stand together, again we’ll be strong
And we can be sheltered from all that was wrong
No need for violence or aggression
A passive acceptance of oppression
A powerful tool for social protest
To be peaceful and not violence many will resist
It presumes the intent of social change
Some believe not using belligerence is insane
Nonviolence is a synonym for pacifism
When you hear this word, you associate it with Civil Rights and racism
Nonviolence is not inaction it is the patience to win
You gain a lot of support, love, respect, and friends
See many people do not like change
So many have used diverse methods in their peaceful campaigns
Dr. Martin Luther King seen peace and equality to all races in his dream
Mahatma Gandhi helped India win its independence through bigotry that was extreme
I think that we should inevitably re-shape the social order in a lack of prejudice form
If we constantly use peace, we can weather many of these racial motivated storms
To listen to another's point of view is largely dependent on reciprocity
Not injustice, hate, and apathy
That is what makes me so angry
Remember what Jesus’ says, "love thine enemy”
"Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of
spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him."
Martin Luther King
Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they
are capable of being.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind.
Mahatma Mohandas K. Gandhi
< the sleeping giant once again has been awoke
to the sounds of great thunder and billows of smoke
what has happened his imperial's majesty's sleep
out from the depts of hell a great wavetrain has creeped
tainting soil where once land had been so enriched
brandishing homes businesses left them in a ditch
twisted metals dancing in swirls of stenching air
recovered bodies of beloved this is so unfair
across it's great mountain range somber is now heard
unity becomes one and not forgotten word
rebuild rebuild the sleeping giant request
let our people of japan return to their nest
for there will always's be another tomorrow
where earthquakes and tsunami's will bring such sorrow
for an sleeping giant all nestled in his bed
and his people dressed in five elements of thread
Tribute To Japan
Black and gold,
Black and gold,
Will forever burn fruitfully in my soul.
Young and old,
True fans of the New Orleans Saints.
We have been through the storm.
We have had to mourn,
But a new way of life is about to be born.
Black and white,
We’ve fought the fight,
And won!
No more being the laughing stock,
A new chapter in our lives has begun.
Red, white, and blue,
The time is due,
To show us respect,
To recollect and rebuild
The Heartbeat of America.
Yes, people claimed to be scared of us.
The people of the N.O. want the U.S.,
And the world to know,
That we are the best,
That we passed the test.
Black and gold
Floods our hearts’ bayou,
And to our dear Saints,
We love you!
Black and gold
Is in our soul,
We’ll march with you in the Super Bowl,
And back to the Superdome,
Our own home,
With a trophy in our hands,
Because of diligence,
And favor of the big man.
Black and gold,
Black and gold,
Will forever burn fruitfully in my soul.

All of us have many dreams
too numerous to mention,
could we be living another life
in some unknown dimension.
Suppose that we transcend this life
to a place we have always been,
and upon our return the human brain
must interpret what we have seen.
It maybe my imagination
but after a good nights rest,
shouldn't we be bright and alert
and at least at our very best.
Most people awake in the morning
looking as though they're half dead,
they moan and groan about aches and pains
but they haven't been out of their bed.
If a dream world is there it's forever
a place where time doesn't exist,
where the past and the future combine
in a place we can all co-exist.
Dreams seem as real as anything
we meet people we don't even know,
sometimes we see things happen
in the future or from long ago.
The energy we use while sleeping
is equal to when we're awake,
what makes it more amazing is
we consider this a break.
Science says there is no proof
that sleep keeps the body alive,
the necessity is dreaming
without which we cannot survive.
Poor thing was such a worrier
Over every little thing
Tell her any bit of news
Expect the third degree
Endless nights she would spend in prayer
For answers to the problems
The running joke around the town
Avoid being Betsy’s burden
Betsy was the sweetest soul
You would ever want to meet
Always first to help someone
If ever there was a need
Despite poor Betsy’s goodness
Her worry voided reason
She would drive a soul plum crazy
Your problem became her burden
One early Sunday afternoon
Before the choir rehearsed
The people of the church house
Started to get concerned
Betsy never did show up
To lift her voice in song
A member of the choir set out
To find out what was wrong
They found her by her bedside
Still in place to pray
In offering up a prayer to God
He took her home to stay
Only thing that could explain
Her death while still in prayer
That God himself was finally tired
Of hearing her always pray
Some people take upon them
To be a pillar of strength
Betsy was that person
But her burden did defeat
Be careful of the task you chose
So it does not destroy you
Just like the problem
That done one in
Known as Betsy’s burden
a love poem.
Defy those voices that say you can’t
Defy those images that belittle who you are
Defy those people that say black is not
Defy those people that say black is
Love your brother
Love your sister
Love yourself
Love all people
Don’t ever stop growing
Don’t ever stop seeking
Don’t ever stop loving
Don’t ever stop being
Who you are is good enough
Who you are is more than enough
Who you are traces back to Africa
Who you are Kings & Queens
Stand up for yourself King
Stand up for yourself Queen
Stand up for yourself
Stand on God’s promises
And you will achieve!
kashan fields
In the land of the free
What has gone wrong
From the thirteen States
Where is the song
The song that united
A people so free
From the land of so many
In downward spiral spree
Of resources so vast
In lands so spread
What has driven this nation
To tomorrow dread
Employment is so important
As it allows families to grow
They may not become rich
But in their garden, they sow
In this modern world
Where we are in chemical shine
We have to look after our health
Not just yours, but mine
The People have Spoken

We must reduce our Nuclear Cause
Because its not right for us
We have to be loyal to us Americans
For it deters us to cuss
We must look to our neighbours
If we can sort out the above
Pat each other on the back
Then we no longer shove
We must look to tomorrow
And reduce conglomerate gain
Because in our free America
They increase our strain
We must look to foreign policy
For we are a nation of mix
Our talking starts today
For our future fix
We must look to the White House
As we elect them in
We must never be judgemental
On their colour of skin
We must look to the future
Through the most beautiful of hues
Our future is our health
Or is it Down Payment Blues
We must look to the heavens
If we are religious or what
We don't want to look on our past
As forget me not

Wind And Dust
Even his commandments are greater than we are
and I have heard, "You cannot please God in the flesh"
I think, then we should try and please him in the spirit
and I look around
to see how we try and please him in the spirit
under his vast, bright, blue sky
where people live and people die
and I wonder what is the difference
wind and dust
and how can we love him
when we have trouble loving each other
and how can he love us
when we have trouble loving each other
and we will find what we seek
mostly judgment
or at least it seems to me
and what are we
sisters and brothers of the living breath
hosting thoughts and others
in the flesh
It has been brought to my attention that everybody believes they are as real as they claim
And if this is true then 100 should have a new name.
Because some people are 50/50 like coffee creamer straight half and half.
That's equal straight down the middle since I have to draw this graph.
Its crazy because that means part of yourself is fighting to be you.
But your trying so hard to fit in with everybody else that you can't catch a clue.
Its like your voice box has been tweaked and now you all the sound same.
Your soul use to burn with passion but your clone-ish instincts smothered the flame.
You can't past your own judgement because your state of mind isn't ripe.
So you feed into all the B/s even though your conscience is screamin don't believe the hype.
The dependency on the thoughts of others cripples you and they carry you like a walker.
And its sad because your true self lurks in the shadows and follows you around like a stalker.
Its amazing how you fake it to the point where you aren't even you in your own dreams.
Also to the point where your inner self breaks down into silent cries and murderous screams.
Wanting you to be you so bad but you don't even remember how.
You broke that promise to your self, so faithful is no longer a vow.
So what do you do when all you can do is sit and think to your self why.
Why did you care so much about fitting in that you would let your self die?
Murdered your self completely and never even gave it a choice.
It amazes me because mute people have a stronger voice.
What ever happen to being different its called an individual.
But now everbody wants to be just alike so they are too indivisible.
I heard the saying that great minds think alike, but never are they synoptic.
So your headed down the wrong path but you don't know because your vision is myopic.
All you can do is swerve off that road and try to put together a new path.
So add that 50 to you and you'll get better math
I HATE
I hate to say I understand some ones pain knowing I really have no clue.
And I hate trying to give them advice when I know I wouldn't know what to do.
I hate saying its going to be okay when I myself is doubting it in my mind.
And I hate asking millions of questions when I know the answers are hard to find.
I hate to pry into someones personal space even thou I know a hug is needed.
And I hate to fuel the fire of emotions by accident because I don't want to feed it.
I rather not be the one held responsible when someone's world comes tumbling down
And I hate to be the person that catches the after shock but I'll always be around.
I hate to say it doesn't matter when I know deep down inside it really does.
And I hate make people dwell in the past because this is the way it is and that's the way it
was.
I hate to see people sob even thou it doesn't move me enough to make me want to cry.
And I hate to see people who hate life so much that it would make them want to die.
I hate to see that ignorance is still being birth in a country who lives off of being diverse.
And I hate to think that we came along way in these hundreds of years just to disperse.
I hate that it takes drastic measures to bring people together as one.
And I hate that people no longer have the attitude of what's done is done.
I hate that people now have to take things to the next level when it could easily be dropped.
And I hate that if your walking down the street innocently your life could now be stopped.
I hate that kindness is now taken for weakness so people are taking advantage of others.
And I hate when fathers don't take care of their responsibility and the same goes for
mothers.
Voices in knots tied by
captain of trouble seas,
moans and cries are all
I hear. Shipwrecked
soundless isolation
people in fear, clinging
to one another as one,
sounds of the waves
crashing the fearless
seas... People frantic
and no were to run!
Falling to your knees
you embrace the storm.
You live for the danger
like your passion and
your tears crying out
for love you want
more... Now forceful
winds and the fierceful
lighting you encounter
in upon the darken skies
above you see an angel
upon the celestial lights
in the pouring rain. In
ending of the hurricane
storm...
*Opportunity*
Love is an opportunity,
To bring two people nearer,
Way is an opportunity,
To take people further.
Mother is an opportunity,
To help a baby grow,
Sports is an opportunity,
To make people run to and fro.
Teacher is an opportunity,
To make students learn,
Friend is an opportunity,
To make one firm.
Destiny is an opportunity,
To make one determined to quest,
Life is an opportunity,
To prove ourselves the best.

I've seen many a-man dressed in blue
Looking out just like you
But you must see things differently
'Cos he is just the same as me
Isn't he?
I've met many a-girl in green
Going to where you have been
But you must be going somewhere differently
'Cos she's in the right place to be
Isn't she?
Well can't you just let people be
Who they are not what you see
I guess it's all in your mind
But if you'd look you would find
A way to be kind
I've known many a-friend in black
In some things you both lack
But you must move a little differently
'Cos it's the same way we all flea
Don't we?
I've heard many a-one in white
Talk about how you fight
But you must listen differently
'Cos you both have the same plea
To me
Well can't you just let people be
Who they are not what you see
I guess it's all in your mind
But if you'd look you would find
A way to be kind
