Stopped by Seven Eleven to find absolution...
maybe some triple chocolate Häagen-Dazs'
slice of heaven., a little peace; redemption.

A lanky guy dressed in jeans and a smile,
one welcomed in a greeting...
walked the parking lot selling flowers..
wrapped in a clear shielded bouquet.,
set his sights on me.

Wonder now, whom the more desperate of us two,
either way wasn't showing all his tarot cards,
when I waved him aside.

Keepin' that deadly pace..
fallen far, it seemed,
from any kinda grace.

In that one second, my mood a little off..
face must've showed it.. too late.

He knew, as I did too..
he had to ask,
anyway..

I just wanted to be,
somewhere else, anywhere..
else.

Anyway., rested uneasy on my mind.
I made my way out past the door,
marked in inches and feet.

For a moment, I thought about it.
Guilt-ridden, eyes searchin' for him..
young woman with her flowers..,happy,
his truck backin' to gas up, full of flowers..,
still smiling..

Almost turned and went back. a chance to repay,
my fellow brother in arms..
'hey, I do want those flowers after all..
how much are they?, keep the change.'

Man, when did things get this bad...

One of these days I'll find you..
your smile will be my reason.,
to buy those sad looking flowers.,
though I don't think you care much for them.

Another day perhaps...
I'll find it; we'll find it..
the perfect poem.

One written just for you and me.

Just a guess., I think that flower vender heard it already,
and wanted only to share its miracle with me...

Solutions

Burning blue bottles below the bridge,
Fire, fire light up the glitch.
Like water drowning the heat,
Let the resolving and the problem meet.

Slowly dispense the accustomed on the stranger,
Gone, gone away with the gloomier danger.
Like an unwelcoming guest in the house of the vender,
Let the uninvited disappear without being tender.

White weeping willows on the witty green grass,
Washed, washed the tears of the trees sparkling like glass.
Like a dirty old plate soaking in bleach,
Let the filth hide absent from the full house fridge.

Tiny toddler tempted to grow into the mature,
Time, time will sooth the temptation of unnecessary pursuit.
Like a speeding car chasing to win,
Let the dimmed issue shrink into an unseen limp.

Yarn

Lovely…
soft material,
skeins, in colors…
of every hue.

Beauty captured…
in both fine,
and rough textures.
The possibilities…
the dreams;
held tightly,
in simple paper strips.
Wrappers showing…
measured weights,
and lengths
displayed.
The maker,
the vender…
and
the hopeful
tender,
of sheep.

The promise…
the action of sacrifice
of time spent,
learnng…
Practicing,
the skill and craft.
The precious twine,
the rope of variance;
sky blue, warm summer yellow…
all used and reused,
to make things…,
wonderful…
things!

Items to help keep,
loved ones stay warm.
Goods… to sell,
or even, perhaps give away…
to those, in need.

I love yarn.

A Street Scene

left low concrete wall
dry March trees march inside
behind that
apartment where people are hiding
on a closed window
The unchanging marching March sunlight
crashing
falling
Forcibly planted at the end of the sidewalk
Dozens of lonely trees:
military parade line:
holding on by casting a shadow
Cars parking next to it
a Vender alone
greets me that she doesn't know
"March is marching."

Celebrar

Celebrar

Domingo
é um dia
de alegria,
um momento
para celebrar
sempre mais.

Domingo
é dia
mais do que
noutros,
de vender
imagem,
de construir
um futuro
de sonhos;
futuro
de muita
ação;
e de fazer
sempre;
com pouco
mais e mais.

Negociar

Hoje e sempre,
negociar,
Fazer negócios
é soldar relacionamentos,
fundir o signo,
transformado em chama,
aceso
cuidado,
pensado
e medido!

Criar palavras
Em som mais nítido
Autênticas,
sinceras,
além,
– servir,
relacionar,
comprar
e vender!

O relacionamento
aquece sem queimar.
O dinheiro
são as soldas que remendam
grudam emoções,
produtos,
sonhos,
metáforas...
por fim, negócios!.

Negociar E Soldar Relacionamentos

Fazer negócios
e soldar relacionamentos

Fazer negócios
é soldar relacionamentos,
fundir o signo – literal sentido –
do verbo frio, transformado em chama,
aceso com carinho,
tudo pensado e medido!

Fazer negócios é soldar relacionamentos,
soltar palavras um som mais nítido
Autêntico, sincero, além,
no ocaso, da sintaxe extrema
– servir, relacionar,
comprar e vender!

Fazer negócios é
Criar o contexto,
com idéia e sonho,
fuga do verbo não mais definido.
forma e figura em produto meio,
quebrando regras de comuns usos e desusos.

A idéia é fogo. Fogo...
O relacionamento aquece sem queimar.
O uso
e o dinheiro
são soldas que remendam e grudam
emoções,
produtos,
sonhos, metáforas...
por fim, negócios!

The Pretty Girl With Green Cat's Eyes

The pretty girl with green cat's eyes
is skinnier than Johnny the hot-dog vender,
they chat and smoke grass
on their coffee break mindless of lonely Cher!

Once she was her true friend, they drank together
at the Happy Bar until the pretty girl
with green cat's eyes stole her boyfriend Peter;
when they meet, it's nothing but Hell!

Branda comes running and breaks them up,
that's when Cher's face gets red with anger;
" Peter is mine, get your own! It's not fair
to kiss him as if he was your adorable pup! "

The pretty girl with cats' eyes seems too crazy,
she always looks for a prey and when she finds one...
the poor guy can't escape from her captivity;
I'm ashamed to say I fell for her but drunk from wine!

Hey, dudes don't be charmed by her deceptive smile,
she steals your wallet and all the credit cards;
watch the pretty girl with cats' eyes luring guys;
think twice: sex is not free, don't be taken for a ride!
