On tundra that is intent to destroy and defy,
the winds and the ice will attempt to deny
any who are willing to stray across boundaries.
Those who are willing to scale up a mountain,
or leap over the crevice of an alien divide.

She has walked us through valleys without windows or doors where we
learn to escape what we once knew before,
teetering on the ledge of an unexplored world.

She reflects on a land where the mind speaks in tongues,
where gender is one, not clearly defined.
So how does she convince a rational world
to balance its logic on this delusional scale,
while blurring the borders so frozen in time?

Her pen sculpts in waves that can touch the horizon,
with nothing to offer but ice and illusion.
She tells us of friendship, of soul mates
who'll stray across lines,
twining two spirits as if they were one.

Do we believe in the end, where conclusions are sought,
on a kinship so true, there is no simple "who"?
Where lies the truth? Is the left then, the right?
Are there those who will doubt? Are there those who believe? Is it he, is it she?
To cut, paste, define what is love, what is not?
Is dark so dark, or light so light?
Or are the two just as one, as lovers might be?

Steadied by anthropological roots,
the strong influence gained in Kishamish,
flitting in and out of light and darkness
while harvesting the fields of literature
she delved into the depths of cultural
diversity, the political strength
of peaceful and ecological themes,
dialogue, balanced ideologies,
oriental spiritualism. She
blended science, fiction and fantasy
and harped on environmental issues,
feminism, sexual identity.
Her faithful pen a constant companion
in a long journey of exploration.
Hers, a brimful life with No time to Spare .

Premium Member Aunt G Should Be Ursula

She would be the perfect Ursula for Halloween the entire family said.
Aunt G who consumes cinnamon rolls, scones and plenty of bread.
Let’s tell her yelled her cousins, nieces, nephews and grandma too.
Don’t do it! Screeched her husband. That would make her feel blue!
Behind their backs she had been working on a big costume surprise.
She showed up at dinner as the best Ursula they had ever surmised.

Dedicated To Ursula T. Gibson

1.

You have come into my heart

from hot, fine, very-far-away California.

You have said many interesting things.

You taught me English and Friendship.

You are for me an example

of courage, kindness, and talent.

Part of my heart now is your second home.

You do not need visas or tickets

to arrive here by the roads of the heart

It is enough to think about me a little,

and you will be already here in your second home,

which is always glad to receive you,

where you are loved very much,

where you need not pay rent

to live here always.

2.

The E-mail to the USA flies very quickly!

The USA has a weekend again.

In California, Ursula looks at the moon.

I send my greeting to her,

«Where are you? How are you?

I miss you!»

Premium Member Ursula Shipton Ultimate Fortune Teller

Year 1488
Daring to hide it in verses and score,
Ursula Shipton predicted her scrolls would not be understood until years after her body’s release.
Read aloud by an educated nephew, almost five decades after they were protected by a family of peace.
She may have been burned at the stake for her predictions of America’s Civil War, simply for being a she.
Her prophesies included horseless carriages, and men’s future unfathomable plans to conquer both the sky and the sea.
Understanding that a metallic monster, would change education, and the menfolk from farms would flee.
Pictures that feel alive – computers, U-tube, I-pads, video and their predecessor – TV?
Mother predicted all this and more. Daring to hide it in verses and score,
Nostradamus had protection of patrons, medical background, sublime.
Ursula Shipton knew her predictions she had best write down in decipherable rhyme.
England’s most famous prophetess, born in Norfolk, England in 1488, she dared not share her fire. Prophesized that women would cut their hair short, and wear trousers, practically three hundred years prior.
When I think of her brilliance at hiding her mystical savvy, hiding psychic self in her moods,
Her declaration that “men will live as hogs” makes me smile, predicting processed foods?
London fire seeing before the fact, she knew of the Catholic Church’s fall, the rise of Elizabeth,
Me thinks a comet is coming that will circle the earth for six days, six nights, causing us instant death.
A homely woman, she may have been, but her ideas were sound, as they came right in.
Daring to hide it in verses and score, Prophetess Ursula Shipton, forevermore!

Ursula and Walter

A fine missionary was Ursula
eyes gleaming bright in the Chilean sun
Shining a smile from ear to ear
Striking, with black horn rim sunglasses on
Her humility made her a giant
Her kindness: an admirable friend
Her spirituality soaked to her depths
and flourished upon those she would tend
Walter was widowed and quiet
His gentleness drew to him children
One never could pass him without a warm smile,
a hug, while he asked how you're doing.
Ursula and Walter wed in their sixties.
Glint in their eyes as they walked down the aisle.
Holding hands, her in a simple cut dress
Him in a suit and a smile.
She couldn't hold onto him tight enough
and he passed on with a breath and a sigh
She sought all her solace in friends and her God
Prayers of the righteous ascend to on high
Now, in her eighties and failing,
I'm urgent to see her again
To thank her with tears in my sorrow-filled eyes
As her life of endurance comes to an end.

The Seduction of Ursula

Oh Ariel, do you think you can hide from me…

By changing your body’s sexuality?

What a shame? What a timidity?

However, I like the way you transformed your body

Your bulging biceps & chocolate abs attract me

Lol! My raging enmity turned into salivating bestiality!

Hihihi! An octopus being seduced by a fish? So funny!

It’s the greatest abnormality under the sea!

A very big insult to my superiority!

But anyway, come to my tentacles you hot twink so sexy

Hihihi! Feel the loving embrace of your ex-mortal enemy

Aha! Ex-enemy!... Yes! ‘Coz I’m now an admirer of thee!

Oh I forget…I’m still a clumsy bulky lady

Unable to match the strong muscles of thee

Hihihi! So now watch me as I change too my entity…

Hahaha! Here I am, lo! Now a male like thee!

My tentacles’ muscles are no longer flimsy!

I can hug you now so tightly!

Witness oh Triton, as I with your fruity

Hahaha! Gotcha! Oh Ariel, your warm flesh is tasty

Struggle more! It tickles me! Oh so yummy!

Away Flounder! Don’t disturb! We’re in’ busy!

Away Sebastian! We’re doing our business privately!

Hahaha! That’s it, Flotsam & Jetsam! Banish the animosity!

Now come, oh hottie Ariel…let’s go into serene secrecy…

To my private room in this corner of the sea

Where it’s only you and me!

Ah!...This is the Seduction of Ursula! Heavenly gay joviality

A kiss of vascularity on your muscularity

Oh Ariel! You’ve just broken my virginity!
