The Peacemaker
Your innocent eyes
Mask the wisdom behind them
Sweet tenderness
Layered by bricks
You never falter
Your longing heart
Contends with a bridled spirit
Innocent dreams
Thickened by fog
You never know freedom
Your never-ending patience
Shields the frustration within
Calm acceptance
Surrounded by thorns
You never judge
Your unfailing kindness
Cascades over rocks and stones
Pure loyalty
Encompassed by bitter truth
You never forsake us
I love this drug
it makes me sooooo.....mmm
superwomaly
flying to the fifth or sixth dimension of an extension of
me
Not being self absorbed or super conceited
just longing to be treated as the one
longing to the one of a ton of many ones that want to be
cool...smooth...easy like a commodore morning.
Glorifying the timing of a lingering love for me...
Jill Scott found the magic number so I wonder
why can't I be that fly to find that equation that will solve
the problem of unlimited elation to the nth degree
you see I've managed to stay
cool...no fool around here to disrupt or put an abrupt end
to the trend of being a friend to a Crew of Spirits beyond limits
and understanding...thanking Him for the pace of grace that I feel
to deal with others who want to change the solution to my equation
of being one with my Saviour.
There's a beauty of rich intensity for which
the sun offers its full morning blessing,
an elegant red regard that soothes
a longing heart's desire, a warmth of emotion.
An inspired making that is fresh, free and real,
it is the Red Red Rose; a "Silent eloquence."
The air is drenched with its sweet smell
being the only one of its kind, and cannot
truly be transformed into something artificial,
the soft weight of the petals
has the touch like babys' skin, I observe
its strength as a heartening symbol
for it appears to be carefree on the bush
or stands very well alone,
the stem is strong and straight, while the
leaves grow from the sturdy branches,
then as the bud fills out it becomes
more liberated and independent,
breaking away from the rest
of the bush like life itself,
the tender petals open up like your heart
to pleasure, and also fades gracefully
under the sun as we do with age.
At the end, the rose falls to the ground
fulfilling its life, just like we
live our lives from birth to eternity...
Oh, the deep valley of the heart
Holding the secrets of the past
The longing in the present
The hope in the future uncharted.
Layers of mud and rock slides
Over seasons long past
Have buried many tears and treasures
Throughout the history of its life.
But they have made the valley
Even richer and more beautiful
The river running across its spread
Continues to feed it abundantly.
As the sun glides over the valley
The river sparkles in excitement
Birds chirp and butterflies flutter
For spring has arrived finally.
The orange poppies happily wave
In the gentle breeze sweeping tall grass
Lilacs upon trees their scent so sweet
White lilies bowing their heads in grace.
The slopes dressed in evergreens
Allowing some rest from the sun’s rays
Offering shadows changing in shape
As the days move to their eve.
No one knew or could notice
All the turmoil underneath
That had accumulated over years
Through all seasons and their caprices.
At last peaceful is the valley
For you have come to me
Tears of joy I cry for this gift
So long awaited and I am free.

The tender grasp of your hand
Can melt my simple heart
I think about you constantly
Especially when we're apart
When we kiss you have a way
Of sending chills down my spine
I'm so glad we've found one another
I just can't believe you're mine
When we're together time stands still
You give me feelings I've never felt before
Every moment we've spent together
Simply leaves me longing for more
It's been such a short amount of time
Yet, so true my feelings have grown to be
I thank God every day
For giving the Perfect Guy to ME!
