Best Unpublished Poems
Unpublishedhe took her heart
played with it
like words
laid her down
on blank sheets
until she bled
like a pen
inking thoughts
she opened
like a poet's mind
each kiss
a new poem born
of deceit
she lies
tattered
around the edges
a wrinkle of time
unpublished
in his book of games
bleeding from scars
of his hands
and hers alike
life becomes blank...

Unpublished AnonymousI have stories in my heart I want to tell
Some of people in paradise and others in hell
I know all the characters in my stories well
Some perish, while some are saved by the bell
The characters are just you and me in print
Described perfectly by...

Dreams of Fallen Idols (An Unpublished Thank You and Ode To Walt Whitman)pt2The answer has been my motivation,
keeping me awake through the night,
keeping me in love with my passion,
the language of my forefathers,
The answer has been given, inspiring
those before and after his own words,
Yet it rests clear as day in one
of Uncle Walt's most prized pieces,
The answer...

Beauty and the Unpublished AuthorFar away in a little town tucked in the corner of a map
Lives the girl who ruined his heart
And broke his life
While with him she would smile and laugh so sweet
Tender as only she could be
In his heart she lit even the corners so deep
With...

Dreams of Fallen Idols (An Unpublished Thank You and Ode To Walt Whitman)pt1Reach into my depths, I could,
pulling out pieces of fallen idols,
From contemporary to eccentric,
From cynics to realists, to romantics,
searching deeply to find my voice,
If indeed, I have acquired such a tone
as those who inspire my very thoughts,
Thoreau, Coleridge, Crane, Byron, Poe,
Frost, Hayden, Hughes, and Gibran,
Pertinent...

Unpublished ThoughtsDarling?
Yes dear.
Have you ever had an unpublished thought?
What does that mean?
Is this about my profligate tendencies?
Of course
You know perfectly well I've never been published.
No, I mean
Have you ever had a thought
that included the thought
that maybe you need not actually say it
out loud?
or even whisper it...

My Unpublished BookI've been working on a book
but getting slack as of late,
I'd like to get it published
I've already got too much on my plate.
I don't have the internet anymore
I'd have to go to Tim's every day,
being rich is what I'm not
but I'll get it penned come...

UnpublishedDestiny is separation
Soulmate now a memory
Love become a pain
Wet pillow poems
Dreams where they meet still
Thousand forehead kisses
A sad melodrama
Unpublished
Cause they both were artist in faking smile...

A Tribute To the Unsung, Self-Published and Unpublished PoetsThis poem is a special homage to all Poets
Who never thought, behaved or misbehaved like puppets
Who never had a chance to write a poem
Who were killed by oppressors who couldn’t dream
Who could not express themselves freely
Who clandestinely fought for equality and liberty
Who never had a...

Unpublished FellowLost within his scattered words,
he cannot write what's want for heard.
He chooses not a well trained path,
constant fighting with his pen.
He's not the passion of the poet,
not the wisdom of the thief.
Confuses even true himself,
his words of unbeleif.
Madness is what makes him sing,
while screaming in...

The Unpublished BookOn her birthday, her father gifted her with a manuscript
Meditational insights, he could not as yet publish
The treatise was titled ‘Truth of Life Decrypt’
‘Read by touch’ he urged ‘start to finish’
Life is a flow; thus, do not try to hold
Rather, surf over the waves...
