   Exploring regions unexplored heretofore
my body springs to attention like a rusty door…

O, that I had listened to Doctor Gore
     I wouldn't be near this sore ...

   For ‘There’s no known remedy
     ~ for the early middle-seventies’

A World Unexplored

Every day a world unexplored
Because of the invisible chains holding her hostage,
Away from anything she could have wanted.
A revolving world of ecstasy
But still a world of her demise
“What if there were no people?”

All of the other people
Mocked her views of universes unexplored
Leading to their early demise.
All the ideas held hostage
Giving her a false sense of ecstasy
“What if there was no want?”

Everything she could have wanted
Was not the fraternity of other people
But the fraternity of the ecstasy
Taking her to another world unexplored
She never thought herself a hostage
“What if there were no demises?”

She had heard of others' demises
Because of their greediness, they wanted
Too much and bound themselves hostage
To something that wasn't even a person
But an angel’s pill, unexplored
“What if there was no ecstasy?”

Her constructed world would collapse without the ecstasy
She’d probably slash her wrists instead of a slow demise
Because the dealer forgot. Writing a world unexplored
Doesn’t help. Already she’s tight on money, so she gave what he wanted,
Herself, in an alley away from other people.
“What if there were no hostages?”

What if? She was always his hostage
From the moment he forced the first ecstasy
Pill down her throat. Now, isolated from other people,
Let her early demise
Answer the questions she needed to know! This she truly wanted:
“What if there was no world unexplored?”

So many people have left her worlds unexplored
Just a hostage, don’t tell her of her imminent demise
From the pills of ecstasy, all she ever wanted

An unexplored Adventure !!!
I know what will be !!!

There is an emptiness, creating – depression – a hole
that a deep sadness fills – thoughts of it, take their toll
on an alone heart that seeks a destiny with so much more.
The choices one makes, become the hands that close a door
on all that hope was crafting of - those elusive, sublime dreams.
All that is, all that is felt, all that one sees, all that could be, it seems,
comes down to sadness, emptiness, heartache guided by the hand of fate.
Fate guides these words - these feelings, the voices of the gods do state,
that it will be the courses upon oceans, seas and all the rivers of life.
And so, as end days near, what will prevail will be blinded strife
who’s tears cut deep into the heart, like a surgeons, keen knife,
removing emotions, feelings, memories, and without a notion
as to why ?, things are in a void, at a standstill, no motion
left to carry forward, give one hope, give one a reason
from one loved- in the game of love – in this season ?

I feel like a dissipating, fading, disappearing man.
Becoming invisible as my departing hour – soon at hand –
will open a door through which – as swift and sure as it can –
all I sought will run to another, and there, alone, will I stand,
once again, with heart in hand, without hope, the dream is dead
and only photos, experiences, memories, heartache to fill my head.
I will always remember the joys, the pleasures. and all that was good,
All the walks, the talks, the adventures, all the pain, where we once stood
in the silhouette of the others shadow, the others glow, what we came to know
of the secrets that make up you and make up me, secrets that seldom show
their veiled faces to ourselves, yet we have told the other some truths
as we have come to see them, having been born in our youth.
Where has she gone ?, her beauty I have touched twice.
I have to say, if I could every day, how nice.
I will – my Dear – cherish every tender morsel !, until the end.
I will – my Dear – always be ( if nothing else ) your forever friend.

Unexplored Land Waits

Spring is not too far,
snow melts and fills the clear sea;
unexplored land waits.

Oceans Once Unexplored

The Atlantic was an ocean once unexplored,
even the Romans with their naval might, took no interest in conquering beyond;
so it remained an incognito in their minds:
perhaps its wrathful waves kept them away: they made very frightening sounds.

Columbus, the fearless and fair explorer, made frequent voyages...
he never encountered and fought a whale: it didn't impose a threat;
despite his first voyage was an horrific one, he didn't end his quest
to discover a vast and rich continent inhabited by the peaceful Indians.

If whales were scarce in this immense deep, they were more abundant off Nantacket,
as the Pacific Ocean swarmed with these monstrous mammals it didn't scare Moby Dick
by searching for the biggest white whale that was able to jar his ship and make it sink;
and he could only salvage: a pound of bread, fish, water besides and his treasure chest.

An Ocean Once Unexplored

The Atlantic was an ocean once unexplored,
even the Romans with their naval might, took no minimal interest to go beyond
so it remained an unknown their minds:
perhaps its high wrathful waves kept them away: they made frightening sounds.

The Unexplored Road

The Unexplored Road

By Elton Camp

The teenage marriage proved to be a mistake
One that brought Trudy trouble and heartache

She was sixteen and Matt only one year older
She refused to listen to what others told her

Both dropped school to make it on their own
Meaning of minimum wage they were shown

Paying for food, clothing, rent and an old car
The money they could make didn’t go very far

Work around the house their parents had done
Took so much time there was none left for fun

The marriage became the bane of their life
Rather than happiness, it brought them strife

Each of the couple the other began to blame
This is all your fault, each of them did claim

The marriage Trudy most especially did rue
When she saw Matt on a date with Betty Sue

Blame for the affair Matt was unwilling to take
“I’ve learned that marrying you was a mistake”

By his conduct, Matt had set young Trudy free
She left to discover what else there could be

Around the curve, who knows what she’ll find
Is she now wiser, or will love again be blind?

Unexplored Forestland

There is a forestland so secretive
lions live there that no one has seen
snakes live there that are so venomous
angels live there who are so holy
so remote it is yet it is so near
every person with an inviolable plot
but even owners know not its inhabitants
strange indeed but true

Unexplored

I once had the pleasure,
Of meeting a girl,
Who would twirl in a circle when bored.
She told me a story,
Of things she did see,
Of an upside down world unexplored.

On this one day,
She was especially bored,
So she thought she would change things around.
She stood on her head,
Twirling that way instead,
And was amazed at the world she had found.

She saw big tall buildings,
And wide deserts of sand,
And even a car there or two.
A mountain of wide,
And a Troll on its side,
Sneezing a loud "A A CHOO!".

A large hairy beast,
Enjoying his feast,
A strange being,
With feet for hands,
Many things she saw that day,
As she glanced over the enormous lands.

I learned a lot,
From her that day,
But one thing is for sure,
I learned that if you stand on your head,
You’ll see things ,
You didn’t see before.
