It is hard to get any help,
When every man is for himself.
It is hard to gain wealth,
Working for someone else.
It is impossible to cultivate,
When seeds don’t germinate.
It is hard to survive,
When you can’t realize,
That you have to pull up your bootstraps,
And don’t fall into any trap.
The rule today is the rule yesterday,
Survival of the fittest.

Charles Darwin says.
You can have your hand out,
But don’t expect anyone to give you wealth.
Remember these days and all days,

We are the salt of the earth,
But we're treated like scum.
We don't have wealth,
But we have enough heart to get some.
We often don't get what we want.
When we do, we often flaunt.
Because for so long fortune was a ghost,
It did haunt us with stuff that we did want.
We are poor now, children
But rich in the gifts that God created us with
And won't live without numerous coins for very long
So work hard, keep your eye on the prize,
Fake it before you make it,
And be strong.

Teaching is not brain surgery,
But it is brain enhancing.
Teaching is not rocket science,
Unless you’re assigned to teach it.
Teaching is not a bad profession,
But you do to prepare meaningful lessons.
Teaching is not what just what formal educators do.
Teaching is part of every career that you choose.
Teaching is not terrible.
It could be fun,
Especially if your students are learning,
And the teacher and the good grades are dancing,
Believe me it is rewarding and unbearable.

Poverty,
The very shallowness of poverty swallows me,
Like a snake swallows a mouse.
Poorness,
It is the cause of my muscle's soreness,
Because my bones are too porous.
Cuts,
In salaries and work time and such,
Makes me wish that I was rich very much.
Eating,
Mayonnaise sandwiches,
Is not one of life's advantages.
Wealth,
Means a lot to me even though
I don't have it .
Stealth,
I claim ownership of this quality.
So after I labor diligently and stealthily
No longer will I let shallow poverty
Swallow me.

I see you looking back at me behind seeing eyes, you wonder
if I hear you; though history only gave you one page to look into my soul.
I feel your thoughts.........your blanket, wrapped tightly,
shields you from the evening chill, as fall approaches,
your friends and family sick, tired, starving and hurried
by countless attacks from various Tribes of the Sioux Nation

*Tribute to the brave citizens of New Ulm, Minnesota, who successfully repelled,
with help from assorted small militias, a determined attack led by Chiefs Mankato,
Wabasha and Big Eagle and their braves totaling about 650 warriors...they were outnumbered
