Every Man For Himself
It is hard to get any help,
When every man is for himself.
It is hard to gain wealth,
Working for someone else.
It is impossible to cultivate,
When seeds don’t germinate.
It is hard to survive,
When you can’t realize,
That you have to pull up your bootstraps,
And don’t fall into any trap.
The rule today is the rule yesterday,
Survival of the fittest.
It’s true that is what,
Charles Darwin says.
You can have your hand out,
But don’t expect anyone to give you wealth.
Remember these days and all days,
Survival of the fittest.
The evolutionary rule,
Don’t be stubborn like a mule.
Because every man, woman, boy,
And girl in the whole wide world,
Is for himself.
