Best Tread Lightly Poems
Walk Slowly, Tread Lightly, Voice Kindly, Hold Tightly
Walk slowly, Life with its deep mysteries awaits;
For within the moment Time breathes and dies
Spur gently, racing horses begging passion's gate
To bring Love from those towering blue skies-
Walk slowly.
Tread lightly, on daydreams that magnify desires;
Some are foolish, not ever meant to be
Step lively, into romance before it expires
As Love's joy, sets sails upon open seas-
Tread lightly.
Voice kindly, words that in gratitude issue praise;
For it is true tenderness so rewards
Give freely, heart's glow, its magnificence raise
To one's depths that life and honor safeguards-
Voice kindly.
Hold tightly, greater fortitude that courage brings;
As are cast rare gems of sweetest delight
See clearly, life's beauty and Nature's offerings
for such are gifts that prove life is alright-
Hold tightly.

Rhyme, ( Beneath The Starry Skies, Looking Into Infinity )
Choose not the path down trodden trail,
for broad the road that leads to hell.
Nor dance the night in Devil's arms,
fire that burns is also warm.
Trust not words that are spoken sweet,
gift of lies wrapped in truth so neat.
Don't wander far away from home,
strangers lurk where you aimless roam.
Sleep lightly when the dark night falls,
deep in dreams evil creeps and crawls.
Beware of friends you think you have
and shield your back from knives that stab.
Now don't be frightened by what you've read,
just watch your step when life you tread.

My green garden grows
Beautiful and bountiful;
Tread lightly friend slug.
To tread lightly on Planet Earth
To dive in with a tiny weeny splash
To cover your cough and not foul the air with smoke
To ardently proclaim earth's preservation
is an altruistic axiomatic asseveration to Gaia.
I remember every poem
Mental pencils scribble
Out in your honour as if they’re
Written on real not mental
Paper like the marks your
Eyes leave on my soul
Moments spent lost
In thought writing endless
Lines caging in words to
Mask any feeling
Still scribbling in my mind
My mental scrap book filled
With unfinished pieces
Complimenting your smile
Or those just meant to say HI
Writing chronicling pain
Of relived evils
Unleashing caged in
Masks of feelings
Trace lightly over my scars
Step high over walls
Erected to keep those out
Razor wire fences cut deep
Where there is intrusion in
To my psyche’s wondering
Space predator lying
Awaiting the moment to
Devour my facial sequences
Demons haunting mental states
Of reasoning
Tell me why your eyes
Insist on teasing mine
While I flee your gaze
Inventing clouds to
Haze lines of sight
Increasing the width
Of paths to plight
Tread lightly
For rose bushes
Have thorns
Form:
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul
Lest it return in spectral manner borne,
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
Ponder the ways you can make it whole
The one you purposely caused to mourn
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul.
All deeds are written on memory’s scroll
Some like the rose; some like the thorn
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
Do not consider your bullying a mere stroll
In your wilted gardens of sarcasm and scorn
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul.
Your hurtful ways will surely take a toll
For eternal recompense has been sworn
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
You will experience payback, like the troll,
Who thrives on bullying, I must forewarn,
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul,
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul
Lest it return in spectral manner borne,
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
Ponder the ways you can make it whole
The one you purposely caused to mourn
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul.
All deeds are written on memory’s scroll
Some like the rose; some like the thorn
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
Do not consider your bullying a mere stroll
In your wilted gardens of sarcasm and scorn
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul.
Your hurtful ways will surely take a toll
For eternal recompense has been sworn
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.
You will experience payback, like the troll,
Who thrives on bullying, I must forewarn,
Tread lightly on my badly wounded soul,
Time will atone for the happiness you stole.

be delicate kind
she is sensitive you see
so tread lightly friend
In Dark time keep searching for the light
There might be a few flickers along the way
Just keep moving forward
Until one stays on and shows you the world
You'll then shine so bright and rise above the storm
Where you you'll sit on high and rule that world
Be gentle with yourself and others.
Tread lightly

Tread lightly on my heart:
Been hurt before
Been torn apart...
By loving too much,
Too well and too true,
By loving someone more than fair due.
Tread lightly on my mind:
Been played before
Been deeply bruised...
By forgiving and
Pleasing,
Too much and too well,
Keeping on trying,
Despite the hell.
Tread lightly on my soul:
Been betrayed by all
Been forsaken still...
By my generosity of spirit,
My inner light,
Keeping darkness at bay
With strength and might.
