Best Tangs Poems

Inherent Swimming
Stepping past the crater towards your door,
I am reminded of warm days
surrendered in flowery abandon while
     brushing against cool veins of
leafy promise, requiring only the slightest
compassion for the flow of life.

The scope of our crusade sings bitter,
     like absinthe in a Fanta bottle;
tangs of anise and wormwood...

chances of living a life apart

Survival : Epic Contest
The snow mobile stops and sinks to the level of the snow, no more to go
Which way do I take for shelter the sure or the maybe
Deciding on a surety hoped the 200 miles was the best option … but how
can I survive this,...

Premium Member Islands In Time
Sand swishes between toes, pulls you toward peace
the palms fanning you, slowly, like a lover feeding grapes.

Birds peek shyly from the understory, sometimes hover
and chirp-nag you for disturbing their nest.

Every wave splashes me toward the permanent home
beneath the sea, crabs praying on life, tangs spitting

Love's the spice of life
and life's the “meat” of being;
love is like flavor
which adds the tastes and tangs of
joy, sense and meaning to life....

He Lost Wind Of Her Sails

In the ocean of his mind,
always turbulent,
there sits a Bermuda triangle,
ships being lost, swallowed,
for he was once
a ship lost,
swallowed,
never to be heard
or seen, too,
especially with his ex.
In his coral kingdom,
bright colorful fish swim.
So many.
So many
tangs and angels.
Yet
he is so oblivious...

The Birth of Mother-Nature
I slept with the night
and sadly woke beside the chill
of a
early morning.
I will never shake the hands of
time
that pulled the comforting night
out of my sleeping arms.

For breakfast, there's nothing
to me like a hot cup of sunshine
with a piece of left...

An Ocean
find blue summer in the undulating
fans of the kelp forests’
kelly green
swirl aquamarine waters
lemon tangs and
silvery blue angelfish dart,
dive disappear in a cloud
of color near
fluffy white sand bottom

the jet black stingray floats
like a kite
ripples ruffles flips and fusses
stops abruptly...

one lovebird sang her last notes

here i am drunker than a skunk
trying to write fast as a slam
i sit looking to wet my whistle and dunk
a past basket and score with her prim and pram

i lost to her good graces on a lost prayer
of coffee...

Premium Member The Saga of Mitchbogin and Sillyah
Mitchboggin and Sillyah were best beasties for three years,
until Mitchboggin thought it would be okay, humorous even,
To make fun of orange-stomached elves,
much like some ignorants make fun of star-belly gomach-tangs.

Mitchboggin had grown up thinking this
would be okay by his prejudiced daddy, Big GudPlodder.
Not knowing,...

Aroma Tickles
Areola trips
Sensations con,
Tour arête
In ambience sighs

O! Deliverance;
Valley of flower
Tickles raw to whiff
In orchid bloom:

Dribbles embrace
Fragrance tangs
Lewd connections
In love fascination....

Captive of spells by all rhymes and verses
Seized in tangs of thoughts and emotions
I gain joy, love, comfort, strength and wellness
They rob my stress and tensions.

As ink spills down from my deepest blood streams
I release my imagination with thrill
All my hopes, wishes, aspirations and...

Prepared For War
I asked him to drape me
in saffron robes
embossed with his magic,

he employed the staff of truth
and strobed my sight against time

I arose from sleep a maiden
and now,
return to slumber a warrior,
my flanks were beaten in the fray
and my sword lost,
but as blood trickled...

Premium Member Mixed Races-
Remotely waters flow
Influentially in glows
Many flavors Kool-Aid
Tangs mixes

Soarid colored intact
Racist people react
Broken leaves on the trees

Embalming feelings what gives
Fashion departures
Dark burst peoples hurt
There's no room for the colors

Placed in a paint can
Mixed in a shaker
Stirred not shaking
As the Omni One

Ends racism
