One Lovebird Sang Her Last Notes
one lovebird sang her last notes here i am drunker than a skunk trying to write fast as a slam i sit looking to wet my whistle and dunk a past basket and score with her prim and pram i lost to her good graces on a lost prayer of coffee and a roll of good will she thwarted my advances and cares looking for another booby to fit her bill so the pictures painted in bright red forget me grabbing her silly and going to town or heaven forbid of thinking of taking her to bed so we know why i sit here a little down theres fish that are swimming in the sea colorful tangs and parrot fish but i like her shes kind of unique and care free for theres something about her that makes me stir so the story has been told that shes tied up in a knots and mysteries leaving me an empty cup. connie pachecho 3/23/17
