Premium Member The Monroe Moon
In glamor-light of sunset
a new crowd of cumulus clouds arrive
and revive a sepia sky-scene—
unworldly woolgatherers gather
spinning fantasy fluff into quixotic yarns
of debutantes dancing with honeymoon hunger;
their dewy eyes blurred by the sawdust of stardust

pseudo-princess-pleasure-seekers
—drama daring
pinot-noir peignoir baring—
full of themselves and solar ignition
preen like...

Cascading off the winter chill
leaving warmth wherever it traces
the edge of the daffodil, tulip or crocus
spring shines its brilliant rays across
the windowpane that mirrors the friendly praise
coloring the seals with such sweet appeal

lavender lilacs wave through camouflage branches
succeeding in meeting my gaze with a...

Premium Member Market place of hallucination
In an endless night,
time is my nemesis.

In the realms of sleepwalking nightmares,
where trumpets blow an eerie tune,
I can see the Grim Reaper,
perched upon my tomb.

I search for the sandman
in the domain of dreams.
Where hope is an alchemy of potions,
igniting stars to cremate calamity.

In the marketplace...

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

The Shower Curtain
.

  The flower’s image before me
                  stares

So overwhelmed by the splendor
        my fingers become
      ...

Beltanes Night:The Fairy Dance
Beltane’s Night
On the eve of Beltane
The Earth’s call rang across hill and heather, towards ford and cliff
From tree to river the door calls, spirits of earth so fair,
Heard by elf and pixie, awakening the dryads in their trees of old.
Summoning them with rallying cries,...

Say Amen
SAY AMEN!
Sometimes the world tries to come in with confusion and
misconceptions but the hand of God is seen and the world disappears.
When the soul becomes dishearten, and spirit lies heavy within, I am in the
Lord’s hands.
You may watch to see my steps...

"In Unison between the Point of Singularity"

Rarely
notes ever compliment
suspended like points in
singularity
opposites eventually attract
silent string theories
suspended in animation
dancing around each other
flirting with the birth
of the concept
of another life
existing in
the mirrored
room of
parallels

The Double Point
a code in trust
where unseen the 5th...

Part 1 - Life Awaited
I have a story that needs be told
A story I never knew if words can transcript
For it belongs when in dreams I enroll
Visions before or an afterlife if I shall seek

If it all shall begin… it begins with me
A stranger living in a past, a...

Dog Star
Dog Star

The clarity with which youthful vision perceives the world
Is increasingly fogged by the successive days of life.
Simple magnanimity is replaced by complex reservation.
Knowledge is replaced by uncertainty.
Hope is replaced by the leaden awareness of the cold laws of chance, and of time’s passage,
By the...

Life Awaited...
I was enchanted by those who sung… they who sing
Like sylphs, like sirens… unearthly yet encompassing
Did I remember being at home, behind a closed door?
Or is it a dream I slumbered into for a time to recall?
An hour less before midnight for an hour more...

The Beautiful Somewhere
Now hark how brilliantly doth shine that place
So bright, of which the nymphs have spoken of.
A place where malevolence gives chase
To endless starry fields of sky above.

What I would sacrifice to situate
Myself in its divine vicinity!
A hundred thousand centuries I'll wait
To feel a flash of...

Premium Member The Fairy Ring Part Two
It said "Listen now and listen well, you who looks upon what's mine:
The ground between the aureole round the ring of tree and vine.

You look upon a fairy ring and stand before it in this trance,
I've caught you in so that you may heed a...

Floating
Floating
by Michael R. Burch

Memories flood the sand’s unfolding scroll;
they pour in with the long, cursive tides of night.

Memories of revenant blue eyes and wild lips
moist and frantic against my own.

Memories of ghostly white limbs …
of soft sighs
heard once again in the surf’s...
