Eternal love is considerate, in its presence ~ gliders grace with elegance—Poet
All true and deep love is a sacrifice—Carl Jung
                                                       *

As winter’s snow drifts upon the meadows
I await the thaw, *
and the caw of the cockatoo
perched on the magnolia tree branch
White icy avalanche melting, *
nourishing the soil ‘neath the brittle bush
                       *
As the first cherry blossom blooms
An umbra of blushing pink
A white parrot whistles his tunes
Spring dissipates dark ink laden clouds
Left behind are the remnants
of snow squall shrouds, *
                                              *
Fall's
* cascading
eminence
             *
A new moon dawns
To defy autumnal of March
would be to deny
the swans of their elegant arch
Of their everlasting love
for each other, fidelities peace
As peaceful as the dove,
As loyal as geese
                                              *
They roam, lead bird navigator,
social dominance his experience
Holds sway as an avian aviator
Riverboat pilot steering the helm
Like the migratory birds with no homes
find comfort on the majestic elm
In serene and bluest of skies
flocks fly in V forms *
Trailing birds ride an updraft effortlessly
glide along the breeze
While other birds fly aimlessly
Swanning over the hillside with ease
           *
Gliding above the oceanside
are the seagulls without any destination
Robins let their tails
just brush the ground
To spat isn’t the mountain quail’s thing
Just charming chit chat *
Or a love song he’ll sing
The parrot in the cherry blossom tree
Elegant, considerate feathered friend so free
The whole world belongs to you
In warmer weathered early Spring

Carnal Treasure

Naked they descend into time before dreams
Chasing their scent
To a pool of ancient emerald, that be
Deeper than their desires, and guarded by waterfalls serpent
Yet heightened by naked lust they
Plunge in deep to a watery cocoon

Engorged with passion they grope at
Heat left behind by a sun, now winking at the moon
As fingers fondle pheromones across viscous skin
Spilling juice from the cup of sin
Heralding echoes through cries
Of muscles rigid at gripping thighs
Plunging deeper into spasms of want to
Releasing screaming jets at voids of pleasure
They test the acts of carnal treasure

Where two bodies now crawl upon a ledge, and
Lay in puddles of a reflected moon, wet with a grin…
Their breath deliriously spent it
Rises to mingle with pungent fig, invoking the night air
To all their glory; exposed with the stains of bodily hunger

Her echo still lingers of that final cry
Sending bats to flight as she dug her nails into
Buttocks taught with ecstasies’ thrust
Into glistened skin; peeled naked through light
Of a bashful moon, giving life to
Sweat swanning to their song
Where distant notes drift along ochre red cliffs
To settle in hollows above this ancient gorge

Lost Friends

Sad when a friendship ends
Just when I thought we were really good friends
Now it's too late to be making amends
Sad when a friendship ends.

I suppose you don't even care
Swanning around with your nose in the air
Oozing with love that you don't want to share
I suppose you don't even care

Now what do I do
Start making plans for my life without you
Try to find some one who's friendship is true
Now what do I do

House Party

I have my first cider

Look at you
Swanning around like you own the place
Swigging your drink

I have my second cider

Your fancy talk
You brag all the time, can't you shut up?
Your voice is annoying

I have my third cider

I'll bear you
Just for now I'll bite my tongue
For tonight only

I have my fourth cider

That was funny
You are capable of having a sense of humour
That's a surprise

I have my fifth cider

Dance with you?
I suppose I could allow myself that
Lets dance together

I have my sixth cider

Kiss me again
Your lips and your tongue are on fire
I like it

I have my seventh cider

Ok, Yeah, lets
You're fun. You're attractive. You're sexy,
Why shouldn't we?

I have a hangover

Where am I?
What am I doing, like this, with you?
What happened last night?

You are me

It is all about you
For god's sake - you are exhausting to be around - I can't stand you
You just drain me and use me
You are supposed to be there for me
Where are you?!
Swanning and ducking your way out
Trouble
You have so many reasons
But I never understand
Never get the full picture
Never the truth
This truth
Those words we have and have promised each other
Do they mean anything to you?
Do you spend them?
Do you tear them up?
Melting
The walls are falling down
I blame you
Your name is tattooed to mine
You are signed to me
You are me
