The purple honeycreeper cannot fail to catch your eye;
A splash of vibrant colour as he wings his way up high.
And in the deep rain forest if you're standing very still,
You'll hear him sing falsetto in a voice distinct and shrill.

A crimson Sky breaks the distant shore
stargates opened veils upon veils
portals portending lyrical lemon drops
or so it seemed 
since senses were lost 
in open labyrinth lots
