I am the word of God
A unique collection of 66 books
I was inspired by the Holy Spirit
As the fountain of God's knowledge
I am called the Bible in bookshops and libraries
In the hearts of men I dwell as the Holy Bible
I am uncommon type of book
I require uncommon type of reading
As you read me I also read you
I am the mirror you need daily
I am the guide for His worship
Fountain of hope for eternal life
I am authoritative
I am infallible
I am the Roadmap
The standard for all Christians
To read me you need the Holy spirit
Reading me with grudges in your hearts is reading literature
Reading me with unforgiveness is reading history of God's Generals
Read me with hearts free from worries
Read me often
Read me slowly
Read me regularly
Read me repeatedly
Read me earnestly
Read me persistently
Read me attentively
Read me with devotion
Read me I have spiritual power
Read me I have converting power
Read me I have healing power
Read me I keep you from sins and errors
Read me I refresh your minds
Read me I rejoice your hearts
Read me I am the food for your souls
Read me I give you power in prayer

(more about my cat Callie and her two "replacements")
Since Callie died, new felines
as precious as can be
now rule my house most freely
and sometimes hide from me.
And neither one of them,
while sitting on my bed
would ever (like sweet Callie)
curl up purring by my head.
Nor would the pair of them
(unless I set a trap!)
come willingly and often
to sit upon my lap.
In seeking out affection,
the new cats dilly-dally,
for they could never hold
a candle to dear Callie!

for the I Love My Pets!Poetry Contest of Laura Loo
Now used for
Eve Roper's 'my companion and close friend that never complains' Poetry Contest
This is an older poem but was written to show that no cat was a better companion than she ever was!! Even at age 18 and dying of cancer, she was so dear and uncomplaining.

Here comes that old double standard again
that will forever separate women from men.
When a man has a lot of sexual partners, he's called a stud.
When a woman has a lot of sexual partners, she's called a ****,
but I believe that I've discovered the source of the problem.
The only ones calling sexually free women "sluts" are other women.
Men would never call them "sluts". Men would just call them.

The lifestyle I have I would keep
My expenses however are steep
So me you will serve
You're the help I deserve
Without any tip cause I'm cheap

(To the tune of "Like a Virgin").
Not a virgin,
Queen of the molls,
Not a virgin,
So I've been told,
Not a virgin,
I'm like, well, old,
Not a virgin,
Please stop your moans,
Not a virgin,
That's why men are alone,
Not a virgin,
I'm like, well, old,
Not a virgin,
So I've been told,
Not a virgin.
You sound like a git,
Get over it!!!

When one speaks to God, it's called prayer,

DEAF EARS
~~~~~~~
I walk alone, the stars they guide me.
They read my mind, leaving words.
They scare me, words of privation.
They feel my fear and ensure me,
that their words are for me to spread.
For all to hear and act accordingly.
I meditate, reaching out to the stars,
Across the void, beyond strange suns.
Finding the source of the left words,
they're not from the stars, no galaxies.
Lives that suffered our fate to come,
Look down at our self-destruction.
They fear for us, the words they left
noted our denial of climate change,
stating it will be our downfall.
Their words; privation, strife rife,
unless we heed the warnings now!
To procrastinate on stopping pollution,
their words, it will be our ruination.
I spread their words, sadly on deaf ears!
somewhere there's a woman
waiting i know not where
she maybe somewhere near me
or some place far out there
i often think of this woman
and her loving care
how one day i'll find her
and test of time we'll bare
we'll travel places together
i'll mostly drive
she'll cook most the dinners
and i'll change all the tires
we'll choose our home together
and fill it with our things
filling all the nothingness
shareing movies and T.V.
of course we'll have our fights
and we will let each other be
but i'll always find my happiness
when she returns back to me
silly guys will flirt
and will not let her be
i'll just show my love
with some degree of jealousy
this is my picture of love
and how it's suppose to be
nothing new can come along
and take it away from me
my desire is in my heart
it's not a what it's a she
something God has for me
to make us both complete
i hope time is willing to
give us something we would share
but until that day i'll have this feeling
that she's somewhere out there
Fully standard man
Come straight out the can
Right into the pan
According to plan
Sports fan
Sensible sedan
Don't ask how it began
Sleepwalking man
In some kind of jam
Wonder where I am
Think it all a big scam
Malfunctioning man
Sometimes I walk around the house in the nude
Our Golden Retriever Annie says she finds it quite rude
So I says to her
Except for your fur
You don't wear clothes, you ain't no prude?
Go for it and set the standard of excellence
Have proper execution
Implement your strategy
Carry out the mission
The journey will be challenging
You may have to go through a battle
Climb those mountains
And find your mettle
*This one's an oldie, way back before I started to voluntarily push myself into
schizophrenia (I have my reasons jojojo ) I hope you like it; I actually prefer my style
now, yet I still apreciate what I used to be (never forget how you used to look and talk,
those moments of being a dust particle in the haystack odyssey). Anyway, enjoy =)*
One night
Time lost my track
So I sat on my memories
Sang a lullaby for my voice
While it slept
I heard the world
Listen to the grass talking
With the sands of a desert
About the beauty of every star
That dares to wake up
And shine
Ancient tress that tell stories
For roses that are still young
The wind comes by
To take the hand of those leaves
That are taking their last walk
All the rivers, lakes
And every breathing sea
Take a trip to the sky
Dressed in white
While praying for all those
Who are not able to find life
Our Sun is talking in dreams
About his love for the Moon
That turns reddish with every word
Still playing a symphony
For those that are lost
My voice wakes up
And joins to the noise
They all marry on a cloud
After the rain, silence is back
Silence…universe’s standard sound
