Giving Life To Dashed Dreams

My past was spent in self-greed,
keeping all the joys to myself;
many loving hands reached out and touched me,
not to let me delve into loneliness:
did I hear all that I needed to hear then,
without putting on a selfish and dissident face?

All I have left is this inconceivable and fragile wish
of giving life to dashed dreams:
as if they were unfolding right now,
so I can choose to live them out:
before they turn mischievous and vanish...
to find another dreamer, who can give them wings!

Dreams, how could have I rejected the glamour you promised,
when your were shining more than a thousands suns?
My interest turned elsewhere, being afraid of loving someone...
willing to give everything  and feel nothing inside;
and was it a false notion I clung to and foolishly incurrred another loss?
Dreams, wait until you become a permanent part of my consciousness!

Come friends, and share with me the frenetic pleasures of living,
forget how you were ignored, I apologize for my negligence;
come friends, and let's make up for lost time without resentment...
if I am to blame, don't let it reflect on your bewildered faces!
Another favor I ask of you: don't remember the uncanny and cheerless appearance
of what I was yesterday, take a better look at me today and show me your understanding!

Gather here and celebrate life as in mirthful youth, drinking
freshly-brewed coffee by the warmest log's fire,
as those cowboys unafraid of the suspenseful wild;
laugh, chat and tell jokes until our noses start snoring....
Now all Nature is a sea of tranquility and I am at peace,
restoring belief and giving life to dashed dreams!

If They Charge You

If they charge you, you’ll be in jail
Maybe prison most of your life is gone
Straight down the drain
If they charge you you’ll learn the
Hard way the guilt you told the pity
I felt its you not me im the good one
You’re the bad one you could of prevented
This all with the most simplest calls if
You would of thought of the consequences
You could of saved one more life then you did
Your lucky to be here
But if they charge you your better off dead
you’ve thrown your life away
If they charge you you’ll see why
Were empty you’ll feel it all
You have a slight chance to get way only cuz
The test came up clean
If you lie you’ve hurt yourself just think
About the mistake that got you here
So if they charge you that means you
Came clean which means you did the right thing
You told the truth and that’s why they charged you.

Without a Care

It's here, nor there,
when living on a prayer.
Rolling on,
without a care.
I watch,
as you live out your nightmare.
One bad dream,
the worlds become.
But who should complain;
the damage already done.
Like you; I've turned my back,
you're way to serious.
And I'm having to much fun.
Living life under the smoking gun.
I depend on life itself,
you're to worried about collecting wealth.
Now you're the ones sitting on the store shelf.
Sold to the highest bidder,
They're not broke, but they are fibbers.
Making promises they won't deliver.
Yet they label me, the sinner.
As they sell the country, up the river.

Rest In Peace

walking out your house
taking out the trash
BOOM!!
a gun shoot
laying on the ground
without you thinking twise
your life just past by
than in two second you see your self in the sky
your love life
crying on the ground
asking to Chris
what is that all about
why he din't watch over your back
why he let them Down
but it not all like that
j.Christ just thing its time
for you to move on to paradise
i know your with god right know
but ima cry
all cause i din't say good buy
