    "A P.D. Sleepy Lullaby"

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
please send P.D. sweet sleep tonight
wish she may ... wish she might ...
close her eyes by candlelight.

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
cuddle P.D.'s head in pillow bright
wish she may ... wish she might ...
snuggle beneath blanket of white.

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
may P.D. enjoy a dream delight
wish she may ... wish she might ...
cast all her cares on wings of flight.

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
relax P.D.'s mind through each night
wish she may ... wish she might ...
soar above Heaven like a kite

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
caress P.D. till morning light
wish she may ... wish she might ...
see pleasant places to ease her plight.

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
calm P.D.'s stress keeping her uptight
wish she may ... wish she might ...
receive good vibes to set her right.

Star Light ... Star Bright ...
I'll say a prayer to hold her tight
wish she may ... wish she might ...
make a wish on a star which shines so bright.

good night P.D. good night.

The Lark of Life.

In the green fields of Summer
I opened my eyes,
And dreamed of a time
Where I’d climb to the skies,
And as I grew up
With a song in my heart,
I knew it was time
For my dream to depart.

So I opened my wings
And I started on up,
For my song was my wine
While the air was my cup,
And as I looked down
To the place I was born,
The green fields were bathed
In the light of the dawn.

Then I sang such a song
In the vale of the day,
While my spirit kept faith
In a strange sort of way,
As I kept rising up
In my Abbey of blue,
I knew it was right
And I knew it was true.

The world that had borne me
Was far, far below,
At the birth of my dream
In the morning’s soft glow,
 And my song was aflame
With the fire of the sun,
As I started back down
To where I had begun.

I passed through the clouds
And my feathers were kissed,
With the light Summer rain
And the softness of mist,
I remembered my birth
As I fell through the haze,
In those green glowing fields
And those soft Summer days.

Then all of a sudden
I reached earth again,
And I looked to the sky
As I sought to explain,
How the ups and the downs
Of a life in the air,
Help my heart understand
How my life is a prayer…

Entwined

let the rays of time erase all that ails you from your mind, close your eyes and you
will see you still are not blind, feel the warmth across your skin, and know you
can never feel this way again, wrapped in love is not forbidden, so why must you
always keep yourself hidden

entwined as we are, can one really see clear, a fading light or rising star, is it as
far as it is near

watching you slip away, i know i don't get a say. but i think you should know,
sometimes the ones who hold you closest are the ones who hate you the most,
some conquer to succeed while others win to boast

entwined as we are, can one really see clear, a fading light or a rising star, is it
as far as it is near

frightening is the picture when we find ourselves unsure,if you dont want to be
the bait then dont take the lure

A New Year Song

The garrish glares light now the sky
And upward turns the people's eye
In every heart a silent longing
On every saged heart a silent wish
For all things old must swiftly perish
And all embrace the year's new coming
And all be glad to sing
A love song to the king
A love song to the king
And all be glad to sing
To God who promised everything
And saved us on eagle's wing
And light gleams a thousand hopes
A thousand kisses bring
And marching feet conquer new the slopes
And happy children sing
The new year, the new year, another chance
To live, and love again, and laugh, and dance
And worship new the king
And worship now the king

To the Hospitable Heavenly Palace...

Stars drop and drop from the sky,
To pour down into snow from the dark spruce firs.
Across the vast Russian land
Orphaned children trail to the howling song of snowstorms.
They just do not see the gala lights,
They do not laugh nor play,
The adult world has cast them aside.
Are they on the verge or already beyond it?...
...Only stars might suddenly ring out bells
And light up their darkened way.
Our Lord the Saviour Himself spreads His wings
Flying fast to the children's rescue.
All their troubles will disperse like smoke!
A miraculous ray of light will cut the vast darkness
Beckoning the children, abandoned by their own country,
To the hospitable Heavenly palace...

What Have I Done

Verse 1:
The kiss from temptation
And the sins that awaken
Are corrupting the innocence of youth
And taking over the knowledge of truth
New ideas are made so clear
Hiding the lies we hold so dear
Step by step losing sight
Of dangers made clear from the light

Chorus:
My God, My God!
What have I done
I can’t undo what I’ve become
When all these colors fade to gray
And I lose this light of day
I’m realizing it’s just a haze
I need to get out of these ways
My God, My God!
What have I done

Verse 2:
Remembering my failed hopes and dreams
Is even worse than what it seems
Always settling for less than the best
Has dragged me down to this mess
Hoping to have my slate wiped clean
Wishing this was all a dream

Chorus:
My God, My God!
What have I done
I can’t undo what I’ve become
When all these colors fade to gray
And I lose this light of day
I’m realizing it’s just a haze
I need to get out of these ways
My God, My God!
What have I done

Verse 3:
I thank you everyday
For showing me the way
In order to show your grace
You offered to take my place
No longer am I afraid of death
I will follow you till my last breath

Chorus:
My God, My God!
What have I done
I can’t undo what I’ve become
When all these colors fade to gray
And I lose this light of day
I’m realizing it’s just a haze
I need to get out of these ways
My God, My God!
What have I done

A Simply Fallen Angel

A simply fallen angel.
Who ventured to far from home.
She's been captured, bound, and stolen now.
Encased in precious stones.

She wept, slept and kept herself.
Away from worldly wrongs.
In a place of simple loneliness.
A place of simple song.

And Our simply fallen angel.
Who just won't believe.
I'm a lost ghostwell gathering.
Or treasure tossed out to sea.
Fallen to a pirate band.
Then recorded to CD.
As a simple song of simple hopes.
Of shining stars thought telescopes.
As hidden light behind the notes.
The music hides from man.

But as light flies from gem to gem.
You'll hear her holy singing voice.
And see her holy sin.

But she has found beauty in this life yet.
As she heard a song and could not forget.
That man she met on Sixth Avenue.
Who forgot the world and sung the truth.

And on the spawning dawn of judgment day.
You'll hear them in the wind.
With their simple song of loneliness.
And their simple song of sin.

Lacey

**Lacey Mosely of Flyleaf**

 You can't turn back the hands of time.
You can't give up because you feel so alone,
so abandoned, so useless, without a purpose in life.
He gave His life for you to live yours.
The troubled spirit haunting you silently lingers.

Lacey screams, her voice breaking free.
Forgive me, forgive me.
The truth echoing through,
forever in the light I will serve you.
Lacey sings, her voice eternally broken free.
I believe, I believe.

You found your path.
You know that you cannot change the past.
Broken within, you have found the courage to begin again.
Breathing as each day goes by,
you now know that you always had a purpose in this life.
You smile to yourself, and know that it is real.
Awakened you find the strength to heal.

Lacey screams, her voice breaking free.
Forgive me, forgive me.
The truth echoing through,
forever in the light I will serve you.
Lacey sings, her voice eternally broken free.
I believe, I believe.

Tonight she knows that she is free.
Lacey found the light.
Inside she screams.
Forgive me.
I believe, I believe.

Lacey screams, her voice breaking free.
Forgive me, forgive me.
The truth echoing through,
forever in the light I will serve you.
Lacey sings, her voice eternally broken free.
I believe, I believe.

Lacey sings,
her voice eternally broken free.
Jesus Christ, saved me.
I believe, I believe.

Shine

I caught the ghost train
back to the house of pain
where she was waiting
standing naked in the rain.
I felt her warm breath
as she whispered a kiss.
Last thing i remember,
i was half way to my bliss.
and she said shine, shine, shine in the dark.
and i said shine, shine, shine light a spark,
and she said shine, shine, shine through the grey.
and i said shine shine shine your light away.

I felt all the faces
staring back at me.
I felt so paro as i
floated through this sea.
Halfway there i
decided i could run away.
But when i turned around
i was going the same way.
and she said shine, shine, shine in the dark.
and i said shine, shine, shine light a spark,
and she said shine, shine, shine through the grey.
and i said shine shine shine your light away.

I closed my eyes to listen
as the tears forgot to fall.
Silence screamed out answers
but i forgot them all.
Now can you hear me
as i never find my way,
to a place i can't remember
or a place i'd like to stay.
and she said shine, shine, shine in the dark.
and i said shine, shine, shine light a spark,
and she said shine, shine, shine through the grey.
and i said shine shine shine your light away.

Line of inquiry:

truth imbibed
awaits assimilation
we feel it in our bones
in time dissolved meditation

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the forest’s trees, though asleep, at twilight
they silently seek the stars who softly weep
glorious oaks with their gentle leaves so bright
laugh and tell tales of the mountains so steep
in the forest I glimpse a fanciful tune
written by the moss, the pines and the stones
hesitant winds lift the birds as they croon
against lazy shadows the river condones
at the edge of the world, where the pines sigh
there is a wonder unheard – still that abides
flying through the night, across a black sky
glad to know the grace that only love provides
midst the wildflowers, dancing in the fields
grows a melody so clear it cheers the soul
autumn’s breath defies the shower who yields
gifting forest’s captive with certain parole
in the light of still, unmoving musings
soars the ancient belief of those lost in praise
when the night falls, hearts collect their losings
glowing on the night is love that never strays
All the Many Colors In a Rainbow
ALL THE MANY COLORS
The colors are in all of us
We can see the color in our hearts
We may feel apart but we are not
For all the colors merge like a prism of light
Ohhhh so bright
CHORUS
Rain.. Rain.. Rain on me Rainbow
rain your shower of light like a beautiful bow
I see the multi-colors shine bright
From with in.. Don't give in
To this black and white muldane world
Shine your light bright with your rain….booow
See the promise land the road leads into
Your heart we are never apart
When you climb life's trails
Climb into my heart..there
You will be safe.. be not afraid
CHORUS
When there is dark clouds..
Remember the blue ones behind it
Don't fret when the storm blows over
You have my promise in the blue sky alright
CHORUS
Love you my Jesus.. thank you for the rainbow in my heart
