With Only One Half of the Puzzle of Life Solved
The hardened, cold expression on Her face softens.
Playful, seeking -
That blessed other half,
She lays with him until the dawning.
Alpha is transcended,
Omega vanquished,
As they both must be.
Concealed trees, along with
The forest that obscures them,
Both dissolve in the rushing, whispering tide there.
All things, for once, become crystal clear,
The center that is the center at the heart of
All things holds fast.
For one shining moment, nothing human needs to be explained:
All things make sense, lovers are free.
