Corona and Social Distancing

There sneaked a micro organism into the lives of human kind from elsewhere,
Who made it intruded is still a mystery, yet it’s fate of the world
That life on earth is engulfed with thorns and bruises?
They say: It’s from bats, some say: it’s a shoot of ‘Bio-war’,
No doubt it’s a sinister game and human lives are the ball, hit and shot,
Thousands of goals have been dropped and there was no cry of joy,
But ‘cross the world there hath been flow of tears and fears.

The human lives, tainted with creepy killer organism, seek shields of defense,
And there around the Round Table Conference clicked a thought of ‘Social distancing’.
Provinces and states raised the alarm of crisis to avert throngs and mobs,
It hath been a portent for the imminent disaster on the face of earth,
A ‘day of shut’ hath been imposed on the lives as precaution –
No politics, no religion, no caste, no race and ego shall be the law,
For the blood is the same red with tissues and organs for all.

The day began with the legal menace ‘cross the country,
And the wheels and bags were restricted screech and rustle,
The rich and the poor entered their ‘house bags’,
And there seen empty roads and streets except faint travelers.
Round the clock people’s saviours were seen sweeping and spraying sterile medicine,
Life-saving doctors and nurses were seen in spring-up action,
And those infected folks were brought under the treatment of the life-savers.

Behind the legitimate bars of seclusion from the pandemic infection,
There was seen a life of silence for a noble cause,
It was not a total inactivity, but a self introspection of social distancing -
A pledge to chase the epidemic killer virus away from human kind!
Media of service ran thro’ hazards and perils brought into rooms the day’s tasks.
It was a joint fight against COVID -19 beyond human restrictions,
And each of us shall be a victor ‘gainst the epidemic violence.

Premium Member The Toothache

I wish that I had choked and died
On those chocolate candy bars.
I wish my mom had tanned my hide
About those tempting cookie jars.

I wish that I'd been tarred and feathered
For the dinners that I skipped
Because I preferred to gorge my taste
On Lays Potato Chips.

I'd like of course to quite forget
The delightful sweet 'life savers'
Which turned out to be unfortunately
A roll of nice teeth haters.

I wonder why my father
Didn't put a final stop
To the in-and-out of the refrigerator door
For another soda pop.

In truth, I would have received more mercy
From a family of alligators
Than the sticky, gooey caramel
Of flavored 'Now and Laters'.

The bantering I'll put aside
For I must now reflect
On the searing pain that's gripped me
Consuming tooth and jaw and neck.

I do agree the joke's on me
Now would someone please find
The 'painkillers'; the Orajel
Before I lose my mind.

Sugar Mama

By no means, can anyone consider me slow to loving.
Yet, ive never explored the world with, an older woman.
But im not holding bacc because of the difference in age.
I love hard, if you're my target, then no distance is safe.
I got a sweettooth, and you're the only one that can help.
My sweetheart, the only candy that i can accept.
And ive had gumdrops, pop roccs, taffy, and jellybeans.
But you're like white chocolate, candy that's rarely seen.
Tootsie rolls, dum dums, down to lollipops.
Am i a succer for love, hmmm...probably not.
Now & laters, milk duds, bubble gum, and m & m's.
Addicted to your sugar walls, no room for other women friends.
Ever since i tasted your whatchamacallit.
I lost my appetite for hersheys with almonds.
Butterscotch, dipsticcs, life savers, and mambas.
A sweet dedication that goes out to all the sugar mamas!

Candy Coated Memories

Remembering the days of old
and standing there in line.
Watching all the people pass
holding your hand in mine.

Bell bottom jeans and flared out sleeves
when what far out meant was groovy.
M&Ms and popcorn
while we're watching some old movie.

Stealing kisses in the dark
being watched by unseen faces.
Praying that my upper lip
don't get stuck inside your braces.

Fountain pops and lemon drops
you just let me go so far.
Intermission was a good invention
it's time for a Hersey bar.

I'm just a guy they just roll by
I'm not picking up your hints.
Trying to win you over
With life savers and thin mints.

Movies almost over
I can't bring myself to beg.
Wanting more I'll settle for
just one hand on your leg.

Off to get some ice cream
and a piece of homemade pie.
Spending every dime I got
for the apple of my eye.

Wet and Juicy - the Story of Gum

Oh yeah Gum
You're hot, but you're dumb
You get wet as I chew
You're juicy and a sexy color of blue
Let me just put you in my mouth please
I don't even care if you were made by the chinese
Every night I get you out
I'll do you any day, no doubt
After a while your flavor starts to leave
My tongue, you will no longer receive
Sometimes I find you just sitting alone
Then as I chew you for some reason I start to moan
You taste great
Even if this is only our second date
I finally decide to spit you in the trash
Turns out I'm allergic and I now have a rash
Screw you I'm done tasting your flavors
I'm going back to eating life savers

Rainy Day People

Rainy Day People

There are the rainy day savers
those who never lose sight
of their emotional shore
choosing to sequester away
any possibility of a morsel of life’s celebrations
happening within this day…or any day
for surely the sun will come out tomorrow
a thought that enraptures them as if a song
never a hint of carpe diem for the rainy day saver
who will forever safeguard their belief
with secure thoughts of a better tomorrow
why even their prayers are whispered
believing that a sunny day is just around the corner

and I wonder…..and I wonder
what gives them such confidence
in a day yet to come while they so easily forget
living within a day that is not yet over

There are the rainy day spenders
those who care not about a horizon
they may never see
and who consume each moment
as if it were offered on a discount
two heartbeats for the price of one
there is even rumor that they laughed at the rumor
the sky is falling….what does a chicken know anyway
rainy day spenders instantly redeem
all promises of tomorrow… refusing to be accept
that a rainy day and a parade are as predictable
as well….a rainy day and a parade
for every cloud must come with a silver lining

and I wonder…..and I wonder
what gives them such confidence
to so easily dismiss a day that has yet to begin
living within day that is not over yet

Premium Member You Made Me Do It

Watch me try and live a commital life of social norms, mores, manners, domestication, that tired ritual of boring sexual for the times at hande, which are still at least 30 yrs B e h i n d, if u know what I mean. Sex sells is everywhere we look, listen and remember and partake, but not in school. School says AbStInANcE, PARENTS say Never. Yea and do the math on your birth sonny or sweetie. HMMMMMMM, the month thing doesn't quite add up. Go to your room, none of yr business, yr to young to know about things like this. Instead of saying, I was an idiot and didn't use protection and I was a moron, because I let him. We love u just the same, and same, and same. We never learned our fluid lession. Thank God most cars today either don't have a back seat or u have to be a gymnast/contortionist to get anything done! Stay away from circus people and gypsys. No, just stupid would be parents, with no intuition as to the real, "pleasure" savers on the market. Been there, saw it aplenty, never happened to me as I kept in my pants, read, pictured, analyzed all other precautions that were ****** oriented withput cuming up with "that" surprise. My ode to my local pharmacy, their tight book collection, and the privacy for me to read how to pleasure a woman with all of my body parts except, oh wait, my nickname from my work patrons is Dirty Dave.Too bad they will never know the lenghts I took to make sure no little Collins' were walking the planet, unfathered. Someday we may get it right. But it must be-come from the parents; this is not a school measure- get clinical, get smart, get educated outside yr loin addiction and make unparalleled education at home happen. Not my job. You produced them from your own wanton, unplanned knowledge, unsuredness, mistakeness, or sexual stupidity. Your job is to sacrifice all to make them WAY better than you. Hence they don't beguile the same human life errors. Our planet is full of counter humans without love/affection compassion/empathy that act as infinite guideposts toour all future. Ignorance begets ignorance and ignorance is bliss,...and so on...,

Smoking Part Two

when the pack is empty
nothing out weighs the need
the brain is sick
and the breath it pleads
even unlit
it brings us calm
but the absence of ciggie
is a cause for alarm
our smoking friends
throw us life savers
but when they're gone
where is our savior
at times like these
there is no need to quit
there is only one answer
that can answer our wit
all friends desert us
in our deepest need
ciggie is just another friend
undisguised that is greed
even cars have lighters and
ashtrays to please
that unknown factor
that can bring us to our knees
pen and paper
and ashtray near by
taking that breath
wondering what to write
we believe it's helping
what we're doing to ourself
it may be relaxing
but when it's gone
it's something else

Original Is Best

Tabasco is the sauce I’d rather use
have a Tabasco burger with mayo
or with Buffalo wings with any booze
that’s a big plus when you’re at a disco

it adds a zest to any food all day
Tabasco to me much more than hot sauce
it gives real flavor eating isn’t play
those other hot sauces give them a toss

I loved it ever since I was a boy
my dad called it hot sauce it’s Tabasco
those other sauces are just a decoy
for there will always be one Tabasco

Tabasco now has many new flavors
originals always my life savers

A Little Tab of Insight

Are you ready for the main course?
Prepare the condiments
Thin oven mitts
Teas cozies
Lace doilies

It's just a decoy
Here lies the kid who was left home alone while is parents visited The North
Pole

Try to consolidate the front door
And here's a laxative called LSD to aide your constipated mind
Now go on with the insurrection
And fight Parliament for the sake of the proletariat
Who's names are always written in lower case lettering

The limousine drivers
The skrimpers
The savers
The single mothers with bad habits who have to dance off skimpy clothing to
buy formula for their babies because they're milk is tainted with junk

The weary recipients of justice obstructions
And catch 22's
Who have been singled out because they have monetary deficits

Console them
Until Eureka!
Grab some Q-tips and clean out your ears
Stop gritting and grinding your teeth
A new realization is in bloom

When did be aware turn into beware?
When did alertness become fear?

Forget and get over your
Remanding-accursed-sweet-tooth-fatigue-that you let in
Because it's all in your head along with the idea that hyphens make things look
more important and scary

I contest all that ********

Depression is such a strange state of mind
Thoughts go to the extremes
Mood swings run rampant
Yet, a strong person will hold onto
Even the slightest bit of sanity

Loneliness grasps your very soul
Dreams are never truly realized
Tear-stained faces no one ever sees
Yet, an inner passion for life
Keeps you moving forward

Who do you turn to in the world we know today?
How do you deal with such heart-numbing feelings?
Just when things get roughest & all hope is gone
Dig deep within yourself
To find that thread you can hold on to

Remember those who mean the most to you
Keep in mind the things that make you feel alive
Allow yourself to be loved
Lifesavers come in so many forms
One of these may be yours

My Love

It's the look in your eye.
It's the smile on your face.
That makes time slip by.
And I know I am in a better place.
It's every moment spent with you,
That makes my grey skies turn blue.
And lets me know that these feelings I have are true.

Getting lost in my own dreams.
With a mere image of you.
It's hard to imagine, you are the sweetest thing that I know.
It seems a future lost, one without you.
I love the way you hold me when the lights go low.
You shake my soul every time like a pot hole.
You have my heart.
And even when you ain't besides me,
I trust you to always keep it whole.

See, your love is the river on which my life sails.
Those tin wind chimes used for the doorbells of my heart.
Like fields and trees, your adorable scent fills my lungs.
I wanna spent the rest of my life besides you.
For you are the flint that sparkles the lighter,
And the fuel that holds the flame.
Wamilia, uli kamuli ka'rosa with a sweet scent.

I found love, when I found you.
And if your are infectious like covid-19,
I will happily catch you.
I need no life savers
I feel comfortable drowning inside you.
For you are the lighthouse in the night that will safely guide me back home.

Sugar

Sugar by Kenny Davis

Of those of Ms. Suga

I often have, of her, the most tempting of dreams

Of the oh so sweet taste of her sugar cream.

Oh to think of absolutely nothing better

The sweetest taste of her nectar

To feed this urge, these insatiable needs

To crave, to indulge in devouring her sweets

Oh the taste of the sweetness of her honeycomb

For my mouth, my tongue, my craving, and mine alone

Oh ravage my tongue in the sweetness of her grain

Oh the tingle of the sweets by her sugarcane

Oh how my lips, my tongue savers the taste

Of the sinfully sweetness of her sugary glaze

How can I get the drips of her sweetest tips

To slide across and glisten my lips

Like a kid at her candy store, oh when can I enter

Wondering how many licks does it take to get to her center

How much longer are my cravings for her forced to grow

Ms. Suga, my mouth wide open, could you let your juices flow

Oh to have tasted such a sample, leaving me begging for more

Ms. Suga left a sweetness in my mouth, that of which I have never had before.

IMP-EACH-MENT-AIR-DITTY III !

Holy Smoke ! Odour of incense on Beach !
Trainers marched with saddles to straddle Leech !
« SILENCE ! » Dull as Thunder !
« Under pain of locker ! »
Grave mist hung low on Life-Savers each !

CJOTUS kept clock arms for each to preach
Who summoned Founding Fathers onto Beach !
« This race is no Trial !
Draw horse blood in phial !
Drink ! » said Chief Life-Saver Nation to teach !

Coast-Guard in Cloak-Rooms begged bets to reach
The magic number to put to sleep Teach
« Hold back horses until
All bets are in the till !
I’ll let none throw law-books on my Leech ! »

Indicted Jockey rode-off bareback on Leech !
To save face while saddled Life-Savers preach:
« No Nuts ’n Bolts-on, please !
This fake Trial must cease ! »
Come November who’ll lose this race on Beach ?
