Seraphic sand is sapped on the seashore
As swirling waters swallowed the load roar.
The roiling river rapidly ground to an oar
Shore seaweed—pure praise to restore.

A skylark beat the cords, its wings...

Scarlett
Scarlett thought she was promised permanent security.
Satchels of resilience bound her fragile wrists.
Woodland deities hailed her.
Underworld demons feared her.
The curious townsfolk simply stood in contemplation -
Inviting epee's gleamed in their eyes
as the garden shears, in their hands, smiled.

Scarlett oft pretended...

Violet
star stream
flowing
across
the
soullessness
of
mundane dream...
Whispering "everything's alright.
She's thriving like a spring fed rose in saintly gardens.
An angel brightly glowing.

...of this dream.
I staggered along a ragged path.
Through a battlefield of metal devils-called "quartered living.
Faith folding and unfolding.
Garnished with ogres slinging burning orbs of fire....

Premium Member Petals In the Wind
Petals in the wind I saw
with my girl one day.
On some boughs of trees they stirred
with a gentle sway.

As they moved, the wind picked up
till that mighty breeze
blew the petals all at once
off the pretty trees.

Then the petals danced around
swirling to the ground
like small ballerinas...

Tell-tale marks from your last climb, those claw marks in the paper
removing the wall coverings better than a shop bought scraper
the light pull I have had to change, the curtain cords as well
shampooed the landing carpet three times...

"Seconded Away"

The Primary input
third person,you were I,
you were seconded away
the interloper sashayed
laughed victorious through lies
stole the gift given to you
from your mother line
a mother to a mother to a child
dead - born, 18/09

The True Mother never dies
A message to the child
a wrinkle...

Premium Member My Son John
My son, John, was an engaging fellow, who was barely ten years old;
And liked frogs, marbles and playing ball, in luscious, noontime gold.

My son, John, was rather a dreamer, like the lazy cloud, sky features.
My son, John, was a leader, like a plum sky moon,...

I was a stylish, assertive travel agent, arranging getaways for busy people;
Like sudden getaways of jewel, shooting stars, on ebony nights of upheaval.

I planned calm, exotic, trip itineraries, for all tired of city hustle and bustle;
Like a dark red flower, blooming isolated, in peach sunshine...

She weaved her way
On long delicate ankles
Floating under loose summer dress
No sign of a strap

The crowd faded
So much gossamer
So few threads
To scatter the shadows of form beneath her dress

Swelling curving
Blonde tied swing pony...

Graduation Dance
The gym was dim.

Red and white balloons
glittered in the dusk
while flashing lights writhed
on the dark floor
like enchanted water-snakes
gliding through scented fog.

This was a celebration dance!

Eighth grade done at last,
they stepped, hesitant, into the roiling
teen-age sea,their synchronous, bobbing...

Out of the west, amide a beautiful sunrise… came a pie eyed son of a gun.
Looking for Armadilly Billy the Sling Shot Kidster… water gun… in hand.
He rode a very slow plug, an inchworm called ‘Giddy-Up-You-Lazy-Thing’.
Said he was seeking, Billy the outlaw, who had shot...

She was dressed to kill
Hot like a blazing Australian Bushfire
She crackled with heat as she
sashayed through the entrance
like Summer towards him,
Like she was painted in
Gold Lame Mesh
Armour tight,
the fabric flimsy and
sensationally short
stretched over very special
killer...

Amman
Rays of sugarplums dance in the sun.
Children’s laughter was heard and enjoyed.
We should teach them to relish life while they are young.

Lights are dancing in the twilight.
A bright smile beams from across the room.
Teenagers’ embraced as they cabaret the dance floor.

Scurry a cat under the...
