Premium Member The Five Questions At Heaven's Gate

I do not believe in a judgement gate
I do believe in heaven’s gate
I feel when we arrive there will be five questions.
Who did you love? How many did you love?
How did you show them love?

Did you love everyone you saw or only your friends and family?
Did you show them love in empathy and compassion?
it is my truth, and I live it daily, for I know the benefits
Showing and sharing love to everyone I meet
Showing love to animals also. It revitalizes and rejuvenates me.

It keeps me skipping forward toward heaven.
Fearing no one, knowing I have done my best today.
Ready to answer these questions if I should be turned over to heaven.

Premium Member Wiccan Doll

Few times of the year are as glorified as this.
It is the Sabbath of Litha, the summer solstice.
Just two hours before dawn in the dark of morning,
among the witches gathered is a pretty thing.
With fiery red hair, she’s making my heart sing.
In a small clearing in the middle of the wood,
this young longhaired maiden looks much better than good.
The coven joins hands as they circle an oak tree.
The summer’s full moon light enhances her beauty.

You are the prettiest of the witches in your coven.
Seeing you sky-clad is getting me hotter than an oven.
Upon me, you must have cast a powerful spell.
It has control over me. It is working well.
How I would like to join you in this early hour.
I don’t want a talisman to quash your power.
Seeing you revitalizes my energy.
May earth, air, water, and fire dwell in harmony.
Later this morning, won’t you spend some time with me?

I am not an adherent to witchcraft or any other form of neopaganism.

Stragely Enough, Shabbes

After years of alienation
   from my religion
and after having fun on many
Friday nights at the beach or in a bar
  Strangely enough, Shabbes has
come to find a place in my life
The singing- and of course the Shema
      revitalizes one
Nothing would happen to me if I
didn't go to shul on Friday
(and sometimes I don't)
but how could I join in
the dancing if I wasn't there?
    I have even travelled to
the land of Israel - holy spot for
   the three Abrahamic faiths
      Strangely enough,Shabbes

Premium Member Beach Side Meditation By the Sea

A daily pilgrimage to the seaside refreshes and revitalizes by imposing meditation.
The rhythm of the tides and surge of the waves, to and fro, in and out
Calms the spirit of those listening to, and watching, the pulsing mantra of waves breaking,
Whooshing and hissing, splashing and dashing, surging up the shore and back.
Every day the sea is different in some way,
Yet like an old friend, forever familiar as the same old sea and ocean.
The waves break and rush white with foam, bubbles and froth up the wet shore
Leaving wedding gown train crescents on smooth glistening wet sand.
The rhythm of the sound and visual surge of the image is meditation
To all who come to the shore daily to be refreshed, adore and pay homage
To 'mater mer', the mother and matrix, and womb of all life, here, on Planet Water.

Summer Breeze

Carried away on a summer breeze

riding the current of a Sirocco wind

floating on clouds with grace and ease

summer time always carries me away.

Summer breeze against my face

summer breeze I love these bright days

feeling the wind blowing through my hair

these summer feelings leave me without a care.

And in the evening when the moons high

I can still feel it's warmth wash over me

and as I sit meditating under a grove of apple trees

I still feel it's warmth and intensity

and it revitalizes every aspect with in me.

I love these summer days, with this warm breeze

invigorating and lifting me and my frequency

as I am carried away on a tranquil summer breeze

and I let myself go completely, I let my spirit go with the flow.

Bandy Legged Drunk

There he stands outstretched arms that offer relief
Causing our weary hearts to yearn and strive for a little more.
Always a little more.
The glittering jewels of his bedazzled fingers ignite passions
Deeply buried within the recesses of our byzantine nature.
As He totters, tentatively, temptingly
Just within the grasp of our sight,
Just beyond the grasp of our fingers,
Try as we might.
With bandy legs he totters before us, leading that we may follow.
But how can one, being of sound mind, consummately adhere to the trail
Of one so detached from reality that he may be mocked as the village drunk?

This is the very worst of the evils and despair that has accosted our race
From the great perils of Jason and his golden fleece
Down to the travails of Igodo and his band.
Despair and excruciating agony assail the mind and body;
Despair encloses the mind in the daunting cage of its grasp
While agony racks the body to the height of despondency
Where you feel you definitely can feel no more and then you feel some more.
It is at this opportune moment that the worst begins;
The aching heart.
This metaphorical citadel of feelings and emotions begins a tumultuous overflow
Churning out bite after bite of sweet memory from the memory card of the body.
This is when he appears on the horizon, taking your tortured hands
And whispering words of optimism - barren optimism.
Knowledge is the apex of despair.
Looking up from the dark pits of anguish into the dim and waning
Light of hope that fills your fading sight and illuminates the heart.
The knowledge that there is no means of escape, no broom upon
Which one can fly to the blue moonlight like the famous wizards of
J. K. Rowling. This is truly what ties us down, what bellies our courage
And undermines our strength.

This however, does not advocate for the castigation of the bandy legged drunkard
He is the adrenaline that keeps us going
The stimulant that revitalizes our body and disincarcerates the mind
His faltering footsteps, the only life line to which we cling
That we might not lose ourselves to the maelstrom of horrors in this life.
Hope, our bandy legged tottering drunk.

Storm Personified

Lightning’s silver bullet,
Rips the hollow clouds to ribbons.

Cold September’s rain,
Soaks the steaming skin,

And calms the beating monster,
that punches through today

Like a plane crashing to ground.

Sitting on the balcony,
The clouds’ tears,
Bursting on the stone to my left.

On beautifully stormy nights,
Like this one,

She animates, revitalizes and
Breathes life’s cold cider through my veins.

The air tastes like a freshly fallen apple,
She smells of life,
Colour and blissful youth,
Like an iced pareos brushes past your cells.

But her bloodthirsty husband,
with dreadful discharge, unaimed,

disavowes her freshness,
and kills his victims,

with silver bullets,
reflecting his grimace.

Still sitting on the very same balcony,
Rushing my fingers, suggestively

Down her legs and up to her leaves,

Enjoying her whispers,
Smelling her make-up.

Come you coward,
Let us see how bright I burn.

Manifold Blessings

Shadows stretch, and hungrily

they gobble up the cold and homeless,

Joe and Mary shiver, searching

street fronts for some sign of meekness.

Mary's pregnant, Joe is jobless,

faith and hope belie their plight,

all is dark, but wait, a flicker

penetrates the inky night.

Ken and Ted's auto repair shop,

first to greet the business day,

a welcome in with smiles and hugs,

our supplicants have found a way,

a refuge from the icy blackness,

blankets and a warming brew

revitalizes souls in torment,

homemade biscuits, homemade stew.

Daylight breaks, it's Christmas morning,

Ken and Ted know time won't cease

for squeaky fan belts, faulty starters,

broken soul mates seeking peace.

German shepherds watch in awe

as Mary's baby cries and sputters,

workers give what they can muster,

"Praise the Lord!" the 'midwife' utters.

A lowly place, a sacred mission

celebrated there this day,

Joe and Mary ever thankful,

all God's Children kneel and pray.

If Only I Could

If only I could run my fingers through your delicate hair
Take you to pastures unknown with no worries, not even a single care
Just rest your hand on my shoulder and let me carry you to the skies
Imagine a world where there's no pain and no lies
Believe in me and I'll do the same for you
Looking into your caramel eyes makes me feel anew
I've become part of you, your flesh is my own
Deep into the night as we lay beneath the stars our true feelings are shown
Your skin revitalizes my senses and I smell your lovely scent
I grow to love you even more every moment we have spent
Your the image in my head from the picture I drew
If only I could make this dream come true

Premium Member Goddesses of the Four Seasons

Winter is a bitter goddess, freezing cold, but also blue and white dazzling.
She sparkles with a glitziness that rivals a virgin’s wedding gown.
Spring refreshes, revitalizes, rejuvenates the grasses and perennials
Pushing delightfully delicate dandelions and daffodils toward the sun.

Goddess summer is resting after a plethora of weddings and graduations.
Sharing a scorching sun that gives us no mercy in August.
Autumn shows off golds, browns and yellows in pumpkins and gourds.
She revels in craft fairs, apple festivals, football games and bonfires.

Premium Member Watch Children Laugh

With an open heart and a loving mind
Affection flowing from my grateful pores,
The sight that so beautifully spends my time,
Children laughing and playing out of doors.
Here I sit soaking in adoring sun,

Children playing silly games in my drive,
Having a world of good, clean fun
Innocent hopefulness is so alive,
Loving my catbird seat, watching them play.
Dashing and darting, laughing with goodness.
Revitalizes me in every way.
Enthusiasm blatant must confess.
Nostalgia sets in, remembering my youth.

Leisurely days with my grandchildren here.
Aware suddenly I’m long in the tooth.
Urgent plea comes in from the youngest now.
Grandma, you can play! You surely know how.
Happiness Reigns, so take that Aunt Ruth!

Tired

Slowing down your thoughts, slowing down your speech, making your eyes red as an apple, making your heartbeat fade like a sunset at the beach. Changing the day into night, bringing the darkness into your life, covering your eyes with its grimy and immense hands. It washes over you like a wave in the sea, soaking you with comfort and tranquility. While it is the hammer for the nail, the music for the jukebox, and the wings for a bird, it is also the leak in a pipe, the hair that won't fall into order, and the clock that tells the wrong time, for while you need it to gain rest and doze off, it also wastes your time, cutting off a piece of your day and tossing it into the trash. It embarrasses you, makes a fool of you, causes you to get vulgarly laughed at by bystanders and jeered by your teacher. It is your friend and enemy, for it guides you through an awe-inspiring meadow and a haunted mansion, with melancholy radiating throughout. It suffocates your energetic state, suffocates your dynamic and effervescent flame. It is the cord for your phone charger, for it revitalizes you, brings you out of the Winter, out of your harshly overwhelmed day. Like a sweater, it may seem uncomfortable or unnatural, but it sedates you with its warmth and comfort. It follows you around, stalks you throughout the day, waiting for you to climb under the covers, before blanketing you with a draining aurora. If you ignore it, push it aside, it will hunt you down, like a dog and it's owner, it will catch up with you, like the mistakes you have made, for both are normal and natural as a falling leaf and a blossoming daisy.
