Parody of Andrew Marvel's Poem To His Coy Mistress

Parody of Andrew Marvell's "to his coy mistress"
We have no time to waste
Dear in Love let's make haste
I haven't time to praise your locks
For my boss at my back stalks
And for sheer platonic relation
Internet erotic sites I can't shun
And I have dates waiting in queue
If you dither
I will select any in lieu of you
My glabruous love should grow
like your painfully maintained eyebrow
And yonder before us lie
A chimney-tarnished sky
Before air pollution retards our respiration
Let our breath mingle each other in unison

Read Journal True Bull His Him Within Lusaka, Zambia Part Three

Meanwhile Doctor Kaunda reminded young
people in the country ascending the rung
of success they have a big role to play
with trappings of pride slung

in weaving together unity among unsung
swiftly tailored heroes, as sowers
reaping luxe fabrics of peace among
divinity, integrity, magnanimity,
and unity for this country.

He has however commended President
Edgar Lungu for his efforts in uniting recent
dichotomy, sans the various people in the country,
And speaking at the same event,

National Guidance and reminescent
Religious Affairs Minister
Reverend Godfridah
Sumaili sought riches for indigent -

says national unity and urgent
peace critical for development
of the geographical extent
spanning entire country

Reverend Sumaili says difficult
no matter how fervent
for Zambia to develop
if no unity among Zambians.

And earlier in his speech, Commodores
Vision Ambassador to Zambia
Chairperson Misheck Kombe yours
truly expressed concern to jumpstart
solution regarding regionalism and tribalism at heart
tearing Zambia apart, like inures

reflux resignation of meal,
thus Mr. Kombe underscores
how important each and every shores
Zambian to join the crusade complacent
against tribalism and regionalism
because it retards development for s'mores!

Love and Death

LOVE AND DEATH

                                        ABAB

Love is a thing which perches in soul
and never dies for those who parts
forever and dies reluctantly for all
those who deal it with dull verve hence finally retards.

Its intensity can never be matched
by any way, any sense or any being
the loveliness of soul which initially hatches
in eyes and finally lead to an undying thing.

The iniciated feeling kisses the eye and lead
the body to shiver and form an never ending joy
joy which increases with senses and feed
the soul with luxury of peerless eyes and soothing joy.

When eyes fall on thine god, a material being
a wave travel from eyes to soul
and leave us shocked and lead us to drowse in feeling
of the cosmic one more beauteous, pretty then all.

A word from her soft coloured lips is treat
for your soul and finally try to speak
to that elf, an everlasting meet
in your brain did relive forever and make thee week.

But when you have conversed enough and all
secrets did revealed, the enthusiasm, the joy, the love
starts to retard and mighty love starts to fall
and fall all thy passions, thy deity thine happy dove.

Your drowsing in happy feeling, thine everlasting thing
decrease by degrees, you being unknown
the thing which use to shiver thine ere being
your love dwindles while thine body had grown.

But after ages when ye become pallid and calm
its assistance ye need or when you lay in despair
in this material world, it seems the only balm
which provide thee love and care.

A never ending charm an ethereal soul
which lift the mortal man from dying and and taking birth
and make life and death traveling journey for all
except those in whose nature there is love's dearth.

                                                                                                      AKASH SANGWAN

Introspection

INTROSPECTION

Is it the color of my skin that retards us?
Is it me not knowing my maternal great grandfather Lenny that makes us retards?
Is it the Irish blood that flowed through the veins of my maternal great grandmother Emma that cause us disturbance?
It is this heritage that will destroy.
I am the epitome of all that has transgressed.
I am the pillar of the pallor I see as your skin.
Is it the origin that I am from...
Native to this country where I am born?

Why are you staring at me so hard?
Is it my vernacular you want to disregard?
Does it seem as if I am to strong?
It is this voice that defeats all wrongs.
I am the aftermath that never was.
I am the history that will not be told.
Never mind, that means not anything.
A change will be seen.

Draw a Better Picture

Is it her calling?
I was just drawling
pictures of my feelings.

All these killers and retards
we should be healing,
Insted we are keeping
them from the world.

Tis it was the greatest story ever told
until our memories were sold.

Help us, lord
ashes to ashes
and dust to dust
are the words.

Listen,
I'm speaking to the nation
about a lost generation,
built off of freedom and innovation,
that was sweeping the nation
during the emancipation proclamation.

Premium Member Too Late For the 7-7-4 Thing, But Thought I'D Throw It Out There Anyway

Rhyming is not hard for me.
Neither is light poetry.
Lucky that way.
OK, the stanza count's three.
Rhyme scheme is A A then B.
Lots more to say.
Where is this going? We'll see.
Dr. Suess seems to guide me
along the way.

Once upon a time's cliché,
memories of yesterday.
Then it got hard.
Do I want a fish filet?
Why can't I just run away
from my backyard?
Society has its sway
like seven syllables, eh?
Sometimes it's hard.

Yeah, so back to my backyard:
vinyards, retards, and en-guards
go with the flow.
Charcoal leaves nasty black chards
even grandma sometimes farts
those in the know
get it that … yep, can be hard.
Or soft, whatever. My cards
go for gusto.

Nina Parmenter, In An Arp Me Tern

I'm flattered by Nina but need to take her to the cleaners,
and splat her inbetweeners with fluid from wieners.
Don't mock or beat down Bath when you're Bristolian,
you were all conceived in a seat in the Odeon,
and you should defuzzle that muzzle after a dozen shots
or your muzzle will rot,
it puzzles this Bard from Bath when you say I act hard, that's daft,
I craft the first draft with regards to retards,
but I don't spar like "gangsta", more prankstar, thank ya.

Hip hop Choco-latte,
ow the Arty Farty Party is to tarty for a starty,
this is too easy I laugh at thee, not smarty,
Bath's beautiful with history it stores,
Bristol looks like it fell out of a horse,
we've got James Dyson and Jane Austin,
you've got Baldrick and webbed off spring.

Of course you went off course with the Bath beige bit, nit witt,
but if we are beige, Bristol... sage and onion,
If I'm rhyme goo you're rhyme ga ga,
rotating between that and blah blah,
Nina Parmenter my off par mentor turned mental,
I'm a stray away from putting this to an instrumental,
cus I think you're menstrual, coincidental
you say my mouth before my mind,
this is written down, no noise,
talking out your behind.

I see you wearing glasses Bristolian,
but I'm from Bath we're different classes, I'm nearly done,
if people in Bath are strange then Bristolian DNA aint got range.
And I sense your bitter remain poke, "Bath Farage",
I'm Mr. Bath At Large,
so LEAVE WON of your remoan votes in the garbage, that's GAR-BAAGE.

I know your only joking and fun poking
through rhyme freedom and I sometimes free dumb,
the outcome of a lout on one, shouting out me bum,
but you saved it in the end with a bit of innuendo,
good poke, I'm off to play Nintendo,
you're tender when you bend so I wont stick it in your endo,
I'm a good bloke.

Life's Balance Sheet

When the mind with numbers grappled
The heart with thoughts dabbled
When the eyes on the ledgers are fixed
The soul with different hues mixed
To keep the different personas
From trespassing I strive hard
When one dominates the other
The other retards
The heart disobeys the mind
The mind reproves the heart
The tug of war continues
The form bearing the wrath
At last the form too rebels
Expressing in its own way
This story is not new
Has spared only a few
Some say follow the mind
Some say follow the heart
But is not the mind incomplete
Without the company of the heart
One signifies necessity
The other desire
To strike a balance between the two
Lies the success of the affair

The Life of Mature Minds

The life of mature minds
is aid to all silly clowns
adorn life and silently binds
and blooms each face and efface each frown.

The bluster of emotions, floods down
the mind and sheer delight glistens
on lips, and insipid nature drown
in delight, and to each incertitude silently listens

The drops of blushed desire with tinge
of fantasy and wild ecstasy drops
from minds abroad and bring
the sole being some consolation and passively props.

The restlessness of the soul
and uneasy hidden fears
and slow down incertitude rests all
and dim blur eyes literally tears.

The unreasoned thoughts perplexes and retards
and swarthy leaden eyes fails
the brimmed tear eye silently guards
but full emotioned, to visage dribblingly sails.

The mortal gazes at psyche as an urchin
with wild surmise and feel puzzled
to things unknown and admire with chin
up, full gape wide and blank eyes dazzled.

Remember Strange Fruit

The clouds, the first at dawn, ripened, pregnant,
With sunrise, and wet, dissolved, gathered,
Evolved and became, blankets, tarred black;
Feathery rain, hammered, dropped and spat,
Cast out, of the womb, of heaven; the trident,
Electricity, crackled, white, forked the earthen
Vagina; splitting trees, their penile trunks, charred
With tongues of flame; gnarled bark, ablaze,
When from a bough, hung, fruit, the strangest
Fruit you’ve ever seen; untouched by flame, black
Just the same; noose neck crooked, sightless
Crow-pecked sockets, purple tongue torn,
Ravaged; hands hemp-bound, dripped with rain;
Carcass left to rot, decay, pendulously sway,
Morbid compass, warns others who would rise,
Speak, dare suggest, they have human rights.
Strange fruit, indeed, yet stranger still the
Bone orchard spooks, supremacists, bigots,
Who put the fruit on the bough; retards, dumb,
Blinded; nothing is achieved by ignorance,
Terrorism, superstition, stupidity – just self-fulfilling
Prophecies and a long, hard day’s dying, for those
Of such morally rank, necrotic persuasion.
By such hands, progress falters, cosmically trips,
Slips on galactic banana peel; and people, innocents,
As ever, are needlessly done to death in
The redneck night of each numbskull day.

House Divided Can Not Stand

A house divided can not stand. This thought was hailed by greater men but I feel these words need to be said once again.
Can we not find common ground to be a nation resolute and proud?
Our universities once fertile for debate if you speak out it will be you who they will castigate.
O tempora o mores did Cicero exclaim is it the child parents of the past raised in rebellion are they to blame.
We are not perfect and never will be but we live in a nation that allows us to be more than our grasp because we are free.
Let us stop this new speak and microaggression, our safe space, all of this only retards our progression.
We are a nation born of adversity, let us rejoice in our inalienable diversity
A hours divided cannot stand.

Peduncle Prick

betwixt the circuitous cocoon of rose hips wrestles a world of unfathomable infamy
induced by light and shadow murmur influences ridicules scent.

conscripted into nature's loggerhead shrike chirp by forces unknown
influenced by the pestilence of greeds monkey see monkey do, ovary retards.

up from the grave of the anchor root rises the sun of expansion
cleansing the cane to shoulder its crown watching bud eye fornicate.

obliging the filament petition to pullulate the wind bats its lash
awakening the anther to feed its feeder roots.

efflorescent anatomy of stamen and pistil captivate beauties awe
apathy will bloom its withered rose until perceived with the nose!
