Oh now sad frog located on the sandy beach
Emotions raging around the body as an Icelandic volcano
burning holds in a vice grips deeply
Stranded in the cemetery of broken hearts
It is as if parts of the heart where torn out
shreaded from the body without an anesthesia
Deep arrow strikes in Golden Sunshine beams
Maybe he worry for no reason
Warm thoughts sail faraway yonder
An endless sandy beach, white as snow
washed with the blue ocean in brilliant yellow sunlight
Singing dreams kissing lips hold an oasis close
She drinks his kiss as if one could never get enough
In the hot summer sun burning heart yearns

It does not matter what it is
or where it leads them
as long as it creates an inner glow
Singing sizzles relighting loves croaking flames
Infatuation may be coming - but volatile
ignites when paper lips hold tears prisoner
Positively resonated does not appear out of the blue
Falling salt seasoned spice
Trail seeking light
This is a powerful and invigorating moment
Jumping angry to paradise
Shedding the green shirt of a Queen
She was cold, but the sun stroked her
soft and warm over the cheeks

Teasing Tankas

Before my eyes blink
In rays of a waking day
I can see you smile
As my arms gently embrace
Another night spent with you.

My lips can still taste
The passion found in your heart
Relighting embers
Of my own sensual hunger
As I move into your kiss

I know your essence
The scent of your love lingers
From my dreams each night
My hand reaches the pillow
But you are no longer there.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

My Thoughts

every once in awhile
a small piece slips through
stirring the ashes
relighting the thoughts
kindling something that wasn’t

sun shines on dew droplets
caught in a web of deceit
too many to count
too many to forget
too many memories

God's Heavenly Tears

The brightly warm golden glow
from the a flamed small ebony
wick of a beige wax candle
Flickers aimlessly as the base is undauntedly uplifted by its wood
 carved handle...

As I try to steadily transport it across the darkened room,
 there is a sudden flurry
Extinguishing my single source of light
which caused my visual center to become blurry

Panic-stricken, my weakened
 legs strode eastwardly back
 towards the knee-high
 mahogany end table

Searching desperately for dry matches to reignite the flame
in the tiny corner of the gable
As God's heavenly tears boldly precipitated through foggy
 patches upon the bruised earth

In complete stillness, I listened as the rains permeated
through the decayed eaves of the hearth
Upon instance of relighting the died-out flame, I slowly
pivoted towards the exit of the dimly lit attic room

This room holds a prosperous family epoch once surrounded by
opulent possessions; and has since been overcome by gloom
As I quickly inserted my splintered forefinger through the empty doorknob hole of the decomposed wooden closet door

Many contented memories flood my mind of the photo albums
and objects kept herein representing our family core
When the squeaking rusted door hinges separated
from the discolored crackled-plaster structure, I seized the chance

To pass through the thickly-
spun spider webs and multitude of dust particles that
 over-whelmed my initial glance
After thoroughly examining the concealed musty remnants,

my small veiny cold- blooded right hand forced
 the aged door shut
 Closing a minuscule portion of
my family's past, leaving it to

weather the storms ahead that
 will engulf our summer hut

For My Muse

So easily we slipped,
falling into familiar patters and dances.
You took my hand,
asking to lead me.
I pulled away,
my mind still cluttered,
with things I never deserved.

How could you ask these things of me?
These little things,
trust and happiness,
so foreign to me.
You promise nothing that isn't possible,
no moon and stars,
just safety and warmth.

Gently yet forcefully,
you took me from what I knew,
without my permission,
you took my heart from behind its walls.
I don't know how you did this to me,
turned my life inside out and shook out the pain.

Relighting the candle I thought I destroyed,
I stand in awe of you.
Indebted to you.
I find that the only currency I can offer you is my heart,
and I can only hope you keep it safe in payment.

Winds Tied Up My Lover

The embrace scratches my soul
She is holding on for dear life
My bruised ego pushes her off
The hurt is swallowed like a pill

Them lies did us in eventually
The bloodied vision my fate
The rain beating us so heavily
Lightening severing my soul...
Levitating spinning journeying

Then love I divorced from my heart
This me will only use my head I swore
My heart is not a plaything dear I cursed
To be tossed without a single iota of care

I dare not give in to the bite again
Lest I do fall backwards like One Adam
Under them tempting claws of Lilith...
Enchantress devouring humanity in Me

Even as I fathom the me turning dark
Crying out for most beautiful love... Eva
Relighting the flames of eternity in me
I let my sword fall limp on my cold hand

Beloved one warming my cold dark spine
Colors sprung and gardens gained sparks
The ethos of love created In me a paradise
Blooms of carnations, scents of lavender

Paradise is now found do allow the access
Seraphi let me, bowing over flaming blades
Where is that tree of life that I may now bite
Is it immortality that I now seek in earnest
Son of the light then gathered to my Creator

A Beautiful Fairy

A beautiful fairy lays in a
field, reading a book by candlelight.

Several varieties of colored
flowers sways back and forth in a
summer eve’s breeze.

Seen in view is a wide amazing
waterfall, with different forms
of rocks. The flow of gentle water
cascades over them into an enormous
pool.

The sound of the waterfall is so
tranquil, almost like it’s singing a tune.
The evening creatures adds to that lullaby
that is really neat.

Chirping birds up above bids good
evening to all their friends. Fireflies
start dancing in the air about her head.

The dancing fireflies lighting up looks
like fairy dust. Her wings tenderly flutter
around then she bends her knees.

She’s mesmerized in reading her book.
I wonder what that book is about. Is it
fairy tales or about us silly mortals.

She hears barking dogs in the distance.
She blew out her candle and grabbed
her book.

She dashed through the waterfall, to a cave.
She watches the dogs and hunters pass
her right on by.

She lets out her breath, while relighting
her candle. She whispers to herself that
was really to close.

Now it’s time to finish my book and enjoy
the time that’s left of this beautiful summer’s
eve.

Wraith

THe House of seven gables and Wuthering Heights,
the places where you spend
all your days and your nights
looking for Heathcliff
out on the moor
through the dark heather ,you search evermore
a thick ray of darkness
covers your face
I search every night but I just find the place
full of rubble and shingles
and blistered black bones
I know you're here somewhere,
bereft and alone
Jane Eyre would have wept
for your sorrowful plight
the victim of love
so far out of the light,
weeping and wailing,
I hear and respond
I follow your tears to the edge of the dawn
wraith in the moonbeams
cast through the walls
what's left of the mansion
hears your mournful calls
seeking a lover who never returns
relighting a fire that forever burns
If I ever find you I'll show you tomorrow
where true love will vanquish
your anguish and sorrow.

Relighting Wet Wood
(Remembering Mister B.)
By: Miracle Man
August 23, 2020

 Anger’s fumes influenced his steps,
and his thoughts were poisoned by the residue of daily events.
Too much of his life, was spent trying to rekindle a campfire,
and relighting wet wood with gofer matches became an endless task.

He believed life’s destination was most important
but most didn’t see that he wasn’t enjoying the journey.
Perhaps his time would have better been spent
searching out another campsite?

While voices whispered to him from the shadows,
that he should have remained a man alone,
he remembered a vow, “for better or worse”,
then struck another match.

Elements

Winds return what we had spoken
Planting life where things were broken
Forgotten truths and long-lost questions
Winds returning, we’ve awoken

Waters gather every wisdom
Its rhythm whispers past decisions
Regret becomes a passive memory
As water reflects one true vision

Earth surrounds our deepest reason
Nurturing and changing season
Home is where our hearts can’t fail
Earth forgives our every treason

Fires breathe in every karma
Relighting ways and testing armour
Its flame reminds us of our chaos
Fires that warm are our true power

The elements of all connection
Are every reason we know redemption
The cycle of the things we take in
Are the elements that bring ascension

Lighting Tomorrow

Memory’s
lantern
near empty
unfilled

Each night
in the darkness
to flicker
until

Your eye
without warning
a flash
unexplained

Forever
relighting
and fanning
— the flame

(Dreamsleep: June, 2025)

Shamal Winds

Lost
in the deepest
recesses of myself
And happier
than I have
any right to be
The hidden
regions
my newfound oasis
A Bedouin
convert
— home among the sands

(The New Room: June, 2025)

Infestation

The American Dream
becoming
a nightmare ...
Conscripted
by strangers
new thieves in the night
Usurping
our freedoms
embedded among us
Invested in nothing
but
— what they can steal

(University Of Pennsylvania: June, 2025)

Leaving The Noise

He came into
silence
like fish
take to water

The only thing
constant
his being
alone

To wander
the alleys
of quiet
reception

The noise
and confusion
for others
— to drone

(The New Room: June, 2025)

Offloaded Clean

What is the age of reality
how many birthdays is that

Peaked hats and streamers wrapping the truth
candles relighting the facts

Wishing for the ultimate void
our consciousness offloaded clean

Clearing the way for the square root of now
—its present regifting the dream

Ashes

Sifting through the ashes,

Hoping I will find,

The part of me, I left behind.

Amidst the scorched corners of my mind,

Embers of my memories shine.

Ancestors of the Divine,

Wandering endlessly,

Existing for centuries.

A revealing history,

Shrouded in mystery,

Hiding the truth,

Embrace your divinity.

Love, and Dignity,

Was how it used to be.

such a beautiful sight to see,

so many flames,

Burning so Brightly.

A nature so friendly and free,

Co existing peacefully.

A Life lived abundantly,

was our true reality.

Then with some trickery,

Came the material misery,

Separating you and me.

Suffocating our society,

With it's distracting variety,

Robbing us of our Energy.

Smoldering and molding the Truths,

Their hand In all we believe,

Their only aim to Deceive,

So we never achieve,

Oneness,

Wholeness.

Stop this whole mess.

Sift through your Ashes,

Find the Glow,

Now Blow!

Watch the winds of change,

Come and rearrange what you Know.

Relighting your flame,

So we can end this Game.

All Praise, In "your" Creators Name,

Eternity Burns

Apocalypse kindles
relighting the fire
Malignant denominators
melt from above
Savior disdained
pontificate’s stain
Tomorrow endemic
— in nuclear love
