Premium Member A Clementine Duet

When tuscan tunes of twilight,
cascade as clementine confetti,
She searches for secret silhouettes,
swirling to the symphony
of sunflower serenades.

In the midst of faded fields,
marigold memories crawl back,
refraining yesterday’s
tangerine dreams.
Swans glide in
sullen grace,
illustrating a saffron
backdrop from
sweet sighs of
fauna’s concerto.

Harmony of melodies
is the idyllic essence
of dulcet beginnings.
A plethora of
prewritten words
soar as passionate notes,
harvested through
hypnotic crescendos,
emanating amber toned scales,
whilst she sways below
apricot streaked skylines,
adorned in champagne
hued consonants,
synchronizing dandelion
desires,
fluttering beyond
darkness that floats,
as lyrical lines vibrate,
and ascend to
euphonious heights,
where bronze keys of
her mellifluous heart,
evolve from a tapestry
of twinkling tenors.

Her muse mimics
scentless petals.
There’s no wrong interval,
when performing in a world,
where rays of
honeyed glow drift,
veiling the rhythm,
between bleeding
dusk and dawn.
Changing chords remain
oblivious,
to the pulsating pain,
as her perfectly
manicured fingers lift.
The hunter’s moon
too refuses to see,
how her heart no
longer is made of flowers,
but nostalgic ferns
and leafless forests,
that twist and turn—
wilting away to
songs of sorrow.

But there’s a maestro
with a pristine prologue.
He understands her mind
blisters when colors tumble.
How her fragility has
been sleeping on
weathered pansies.

He guides her to
softly press the
porcelain frame of
piano keys,
playing the prelude
to a classical sonata,
lost in the maple waves
of wind-blown whispers.
Her oak leaf twirls and
sows duets
of sanguine tomorrows,
pitching lines within
veins rhymed in vain.
Birds of paradise croon
to orchestrated
hope and love,
while a palette of sounds
piercingly rise to unravel
a synopsis for healing.

Premium Member Amethyst Fate

Bluebells in chime are shadows in training,
beech trees rising in a sheltering sky.
Sunlight peeks through, the merest of raining,
to guide the mauve buds to darkness close by.
Wind in the forest wafts in refraining.
Violet implores the young they must fly.

But until they're ready fledglings must wait
to one day assume their amethyst fate.

Living In Between

The world comes knocking on your door.
And changes nothing from before.
For who we are is from within.
When we learn that, that's when we win.

There's always some who think they're right.
They just disturb the peace in night.
They only see their own disdain.
With no regard for causing pain.

The world keeps moving right along.
Rearranging right and wrong.
Fundamentally refraining.
The truth of what some find so straining.

They look to find peace in their view.
But some, just rhetoric they spew.
Today's world that lives on the net.
Can make us wish we could forget.

There are many walking 'round.
Who live in silence, don't make a sound.
They're hoping for their lives to change.
But live in between just feeling strange.

Note: I'll leave it here for those who know me to interpret. The rest of you, I wish you peace.

Magic Now

Skirting the vast edges of my reality,
wavering between creature and Creator~
A single choice is all there is~

Future is a thought, past is a thought,
now is all there is~

Moments slip into moments slip into moments…
Pure Awareness in all there is~

Viewing bubbles of consciousness from my own little bubble,
contained and refraining from touching your light~

Afraid to own the fact that I am you as your eyes reflect the
innocence that is our bond and birthright~

An empty canvas awaits this masterful stroke, hues of grace~
Painting grace from the vantage point of “I”~

What immaculate perception, nothing less than pure magic~

My wizard’s staff glows brightly,
shedding light on all that lay motionless
and dark on this, the night of my return to you~

Power ripples from my being and reverberates to touch
all I have made real Now~

Alas, I have returned home to receive my inheritance~
Accepting the Divinity that is “I”, in place of a thorny crown
that was once wore so well~

The Power of Taking a Stand

I put my money to work
I put my words into action
Turning my thoughts into reality
Screaming the power of one

We are misled by the world
Adapting wrong information
Refraining from our own destiny
People telling us we are nothing
Laughing at our crazy dreams

I use my head for correction
Let my mind wonder a little bit
Mixing all the chemicals in the reaction
I don't need any approbation
Screw the world, if it stands still
Till the end of my days

New star every week
Old star gonna perish
New year with a new weep
Let us stand up as the world
Help women and children
Put wrong doers into prison
Liberty for all the people

I put my words into action
Let alone no perfection
The world needs affection
Working with the law of attraction

Do Friends Mix As Lovers

Side by side we lay,
She breathes shallowly
and I feel her chest rise
slowly, gently against my body
her breasts press against my side
And I quiver, electricity shoots through my nerves
quickening my heart and melting me into warmth
i watch her peaceful in her sleep
at rest, safe and unflinching beside me
I touch her silken hair, so soft
she is the image of beauty
An angel without mercy
Flawless creature - lips calling quietly
To be captured and enthralled
I am a prisoner of her spell
I brush her skin with my fingertips
It is so hard not to touch her
But I keep my hands back
refraining from roaming where they long to go
drawing circles down her belly and lips
aching to kiss every line of her skin
her breasts warm beneath my hands
squeezed and nipples flicked
and then brought against hungry lips
Where I would suck on them,
softly and then harder until she were squirming
whimpering as Id drag my lips down her body
over every curve licking the honey from her skin
Until reaching that luscious spot between her thighs
and gently spreading her to her surprise
my tongue dancing a million ways
diving deep to surface quickly for air
and dive down, down into her taste
kissing her thighs and nibbling her softness
and the taste of her skin makes me high
I do everything not to let myself get carried away
And yet watching her sleep is sexy to me
I lie beside her, wet and warm
aching to touch her, aching down below
where I want her to touch me
And make love with her for the first time
I'm squirming more every second I look at her
The need to love her ever growing
The need to leave and step away from this insanity
And yet I already know I wont leave her side
I'd suffer for eternity if it meant keeping this right

The Empress

Once I sat upon your throne
to visit a familiar chair
I am the Empress overthrown
I no longer rule or scare
My face is in the picture
since 1968
There is no kind of stricture
I'm sitting at the gate
I stand for birth and promise
of a new dawn seeping in
and of gifts awmous
refraining from any sin
So lay out the cards of ink my friends
and see me sitting there
you need not for to make amends
I'll grant your wishes fair.

Premium Member One Last Ode - Parody of a Song

A parody of “The Last Waltz” song written by: Barry Mason and Les Reed
One Last Ode
I wondered if I’d write ever again
Inklings of my heart that flow through my pen
Then words came cascading from sky up above
Freewheelin’ mystic glimmers of love.

I wrote one last ode for you
Two lonesome dreamers together
Head o'er heels were we two
One last ode to last forever.

‘Twas balladry kept us going strong
Through the ups and downs we got along
Until there was a parting of the tide
And the gap between us became ocean wide.

I wrote one last ode for you
Two lonesome dreamers together
Head o'er heels were we two
One last ode to last forever.

Love’s never gone, memories linger on
Sweet souvenirs of passions refraining...
Tra la la la la la tra la la
Tra la la la la la tra la la

I wrote one last ode for you
Two lonesome dreamers together
Head o'er heels were we two
One last ode to last forever.

Tra la la la la la tra la La

1

At peace perhaps too much
a fine Spring rain
we seek news from the desert or capitol
of those who have dedicated their lives to losing their lives for us
adventurers, ancient honor, land runners
this campaign a must to advance one's career
a war president needs war

2

All you need to know is the names of things
chambers of commerce and large corporations
elements, products, decay fungi, egg masses
cultivars and their relation to wild grasses and the edge
uses of herbs, languages of mammals,
purposes of insects, placement of rocks
the names of everything by which we know our way

3

I've read about those remarkable souls who maintain self-control
among murderers and the unentertained multitude
who may have even spoken persuasively
at the right moment for speaking
and thus attracted a now unwanted immortality
there are only two ways you can tell
a bird of prey from a vision - humor and ritual

4

the Fedex gal
would be unlike taking off Emily Dickinson's clothes
over the counter perfume and spray paint hair
postman's shorts, black socks
a woman's legs are much like a man's
yet she too is beautiful, too beautiful, weekends
boating with her man

5

Suburbs, lawns, blankets
in a long, long nursery of babies
napping, old, blameworthy
and, I say this respectfully, blind
certain and uninterested
in motives more subtle than their immediate comfort
Who am I to complain?

6

Plants, poems: riches
our financial advisor doesn't count. Good and simple
a man as he is. Comes tousled
from early morning golf and puffy
from a late night fight or lovefest with his wife.
Inchworm
letting out its rope down an oak.

7

Late afternoon meeting
like the dry samara, achene or capsule surrounding a seed
how often have I tried to escape
my need, community, chamber of commerce
you cannot drive
the roads are theirs and the signs, perhaps
you can walk if you can name the plants and rocks and are willing to die

8

O happy family
there's some contentment in letting community and family decide
your place in it. Gatekeepers -
unconscious god, invisible hand, natural selection -
kind when refraining from violence
when not responding with force to the universe's effort
to extinguish us.

Premium Member Goody Girl

A few things I resolve to do or dare
Lessen my gallons of soda intake;
The first ‘meal’ for breakfast, not the cornflakes…
Juice therapy would be New Year’s affair.

Yes, I’ll curb my late, night-owl affliction
And suppress reading books, just once a week
To calm my impulse..a healthy technique
Refraining self from this invitation.

Goody girl, that’s my 2015 name
Life is short, I’ll be a kinder person…
But rambling soda and late hours’ refrain
May not work. Loving deeper is more fun!

Premium Member God Blesses Our Church Anniversary

God blesses our anniversary that aims for Christ to be exalted
Thus, we must be spiritually prompted…
Surely divinely-led with prayers granted
While yielded to Him, being biblically directed.

God blesses* our anniversary that assures His victory!
Thus, we trust Him to save souls from hell’s fury…
Surely helping the needy unload sin-burdens they carry
While declaring with compassion the Gospel story.

God blesses our anniversary that tests our commitment!
Thus, we submit to Him with clear vision’s enlightenment...
Surely seeking His presence, overcoming discouragement
While abounding in His work with whole-hearted ministry involvement.

God blesses our anniversary that promises His gracious fullness!
Thus, we humble before Him with earnest meekness...
Surely abiding in His will of perfection’s greatness
While laboring in His life-building business.

God blesses our anniversary that’s rewarding!
Thus, we ask Him that our toiling and giving He will keep guiding…
Surely refraining us from complaining and backsliding
While upon His truth we are steadfastly standing.

God blesses our anniversary that requires sacrifices!
Thus, we follow His leading as the right process...
Surely learning from His Word for righteous experiences
While warned against worldliness and destructive losses.

God blesses our anniversary that brings satisfaction!
Thus, we serve Him with our pure heart and honest intention…
Surely motivated by Christ’s love, not by personal ambition
While pleasing Him with our faith midst joyous dedication.

The Forest Pool

The Forest Pool

The flowing stream paused to rest
Refraining from its urgent quest
To rush ever faster at the Worlds bequest

I too watch the Forest pool
And wonder if the worlds a fool
Is it not just a bigger pool

Where can peace be found more free
Where such beauty do we see
Would not all here long to be
Beside the Forest pool

Golden Egg

you don't even know
where to go what to say
how to hear- be here now
today come play i'll stay if i
may- your seed plus me makes the
golden egg i lay- i listen when you
pray your head down body slouched into a
frown not making a sound but so so- loud is
an oxymoron in certain context contradictory reflex
we must keep them perplexed eventually the attention
will be put to- rest easy it's a measly amount
of time this life it's easy to be this blithe cuz
the spirit is not in- tangible exchangeable
can't get what i want circular return policy
keeps entertaining- sissy refraining from
accepting their presense & naming them we
all count- yes but it is always such a
mess i must confess- too much to
repress so compressed the leak was a tad
expected- too bad no one detected & now
we'll remain infected

Spring Has My Love

Seven long weeks of winter with her snow not refraining,
But oh, approaching is a season who shall give my joy endless reining.

And when the dark clouds shower,
The fields shall sprout lavender flowers.
Tis’ not I love Spring with favoritism.
Oh no indeed my adoration toward all seasons is equal
Alas, I cannot save myself from the sight of the leaves’ resurrection.

And if ultimately I were to choose
which of Earth’s seasons should not I lose,
Then toward God, I would gaze my face
and pray Him not to withhold Spring’s Grace.

Hungry Diana

Daily, Diana coils herself
In a dirty corner on top
The ever patronized Mararaba
Pedestrian bridge
 Cold mingling in her ribs
Like a poisonous snake, she
Hissed and turned thru and fro.
Hunger, offending strongly, her stomach
The Sound of her crack voice,
Her very cherished choice,
Refraining from exuding properly,
Though she yearns for the passersby to come to her aid.
So, her bony fingers,
She straightened in the air,
Calling for food or water,
Pedestrians roaming, every man to his own
Even they can see she’s like dying,

Packed aside like cabbage garbage,
By life’s fateful decision.
Hungry Diana, lonely and bony
Some time, some take note of her
Duty post and dash her a penny or two.
Most at time majority disdain and discard her,
Some stigmatize her,
Some defraud and rob her
Others even rape her.
Oh! Stark and dark world,
Adding the pains to the wounds of her life.
Hungry Diana, give me a clue,
Why shouldering the plights of this Earth?
Were you a delinquent?
You are not alone Oh!
Lonely Diana for my prayers are chiefly with you.
