RECOGNIZING YOUR TRUE WORTH

The world is filled with turmoil
We see it all around
It's like a pot at full boil
Sin and strife abound

But when we seek out others
Who care just how we feel
We find that they're like brothers
They'll help the hurt to heal

When friends seem to...

Recognizing the Obvious
Recognizing the Obvious.

Through our ash is the endeavor,
of the images on time's shelf,
can distinct the mind be never,
to recognize its weight, its self.
From this ash is laid our coming,
at scatter the origin sought,
from a speck is formed a summing,
to recognize, what we forgot.

You're the...

Premium Member Recognizing Me In Her
She was earthy, and her hands were hard.
Her fingernails were torn, as if she had just scratched her way
Out of a crypt.
Others shook their head ‘no’
Not allowing her to sit.
I recognized her as a gardener.
She was not a clean-up-nicely-every second person.
I motioned her to my...

On Recognizing My Projections
Mother and child
scoot across the boardwalk
baby safe in belly as she runs -
the day is precious
and blue.

Ancient lovers
dance slowly
and deliberately,
down the walkway,
heads down,
chatting, discussing,
being with his arm
dropped gently
across her shoulder
like a statement -
a special spot he always finds
to comfort.
My own tears
come
uncomplicated,
(time never waits)
bitter
sweet.

August...

Premium Member Recognizing Power
Cutting through the doubt and fear,
I found my “self” in a wash of enlightenment.

Flooded by my own awakening I am renewed;
spirit in materiality; power in a box.

Packaged dreams await production;
Manifest in their own time.

“Miracles” some say;
“Talent”, observe others.
I am a channel,
Pouring light into a...

Recognizing You
Im in a better mood today,
Realized something important,

Feeling life is more than living a day,
Honoring and maintaining your is the best way.

Running in circles is the worst life program,
lets break out some crafts and make a new diagram,
Must review the old crap, scribble it out,...

Recognizing Kindness
There are things in life,
That we search for all our life,
But fail to find,
Or fail to recognize when we do find.

Kindness is high on the list,
And like others on the list,
If you search for it,
You will be lucky if you find it,
But if you have...

Premium Member Recognizing Both
I am racing toward the finish line of positive thoughts
Throwing them in front of me in the form of roses.
You are marvelous, wonderful, exquisite, delightful….
Your poetry is fabulous, dainty, fine, well-thought out.
SCREECH!
What the heck am I doing?

This poem is the pits. The author must have...

You will be the first to know she says
I never am
But I am often last
Which bothers me not
It helps me know her priorities
Making it easier for me not to do extra things for her....

Premium Member recognizing shapes in the clouds
souls are floating in heaven
clouds showed me a peek of them
a window to heaven
I see Jesus from the back
He glides upwards to meet them
there is another cloud that resembles north America
Does He know I am watching?
Do the clouds realize I recognize their shapes?
I watch, until...

Premium Member A Quick Guide To Recognizing Devils
Devils and the like come in many forms
they can be invisible or behemoth
In the flesh or of the spirit
Rooting into foothills of the mind
spreading and climbing,

There'll always be devils in our lives
replacing hope with doubt
love-with disdain
clever-shape shifters supreme...

Prolonged depression
means a devil is chewing
the pulp of...

Wild woman can outrun a stallion
Out laugh a hyena
Out drink a camel

Wild woman knows her strength
Her spirit rivals the ocean
Competes with the mountains
Shines through the shadows of the forest

Wild woman cannot be held back
She lives her truth, dazzling the rest of us
We stay out of...

Like Mother Like Son
I always thought that I was like my dad.
People tell me that I look like him
So, I just suspected that we were similar.

He doesn’t show much emotion
I don’t show much emotion.
He’s got blue eyes,
I’ve got blue eyes
He only has a select few friends,
I’m picky with...
