Mother is ninety now, frail, and asleep much too often.
This may be her last year; she wants to go home and be with God,
but does not want to leave me. Go Mom, I'll be there by and by.
Just maintain that course
Stay on that path in order to excel
Put your best foot forward
And continue to do well
Uplift and empower
Be that beacon of light in every way
Nothing but positive vibes
Rise and shine everyday
Don’t give in to adversity
Don’t accept defeat
Put your best foot forward
In any challenge that you meet.
Stick to your convictions
Hold your head up high
Know your limitations
Then you’ll be able to get by.
You can weather any storm
No matter how severe
It takes intestinal fortitude
Let me make that clear.
If at times you feel inept
And things have gone askew
Don’t wallow in self-pity
There’s plenty you can do.
Don’t give in to adversity
Don’t accept defeat
Put your best foot forward
In any challenge that you meet.

Future record breakers
Are the infants of this day
They should be taught well
In order to lead the way
They should be taken forward
In the fear of God
By the responsible one’s above them
Ye parents, guardians and lecture givers
Train them to keep of boozing
Instruct them never to go logger heads
Improve their knowledge of moral uprightness
So as not to make their regime
Bite the just
Our guardians of later days
Subtract yourselves from the disguised devils
Less they turn you into a bag of disgust
Make yourself confident in yourself
And keep a cold shoulder
Of relying on them
Or at last you become failure’s hosts
Disembark from the plane of the unjust
And board the plane of the just
Desist from hitting below the belt
And permit fairplay to rule
For it is a praise worthy value
Let the truth prevail in all you do
Let your attitude be reflected in your records
So as to be known as an accountable man
And a scrupulously honest woman
Always be on the level
So that they would be your face saver
When the doubting Thomas talks
Deprive yourself from going against the rules
Even when you fail
But move on gallantly
Till you win the race
Lend a helping hand
To those who lose
When you win
Cease to get satisfied
With where you are
Escape from the clutches of laziness
For it hinders your success

And work as if your whole life depends on it

Reserved

That narcissistic selfie
And then to wallow in
‘Likes’
Oh! Don’t be stupid
Not that so yesterday
‘I like you’
But this so modern
‘Everybody likes me’
‘Like’- that abstract feeling
Has suddenly become countable
But then
These likes
Come with a condition
‘You like me’
And then, in turn
‘I like you’
A perfect
‘Give and take’
For all those
On-line friends’ sake
Now amongst the race
For these likes
Where is the real you?
Suffocating beneath
The mound of ‘likes’
‘Phew’!
But why should it bother you
Your life
Dependent on your face
And your face
Dependent on others’ ‘likes’
So, please continue on

There’s nothing called ‘Real’
In this fictitious world
So, why should you alone be bothered?
Lets see if I got this strait
trust no one but believe in fate,
take time to smell the roses
but don't waist time on stupid choices,
always keep you head up and don't let any thing get you down
but live, love, and laugh and try not to frown,
treat others as you want to be treated,
but give no one the bird they didn't mean it,
if you love some thing set it free?
but to know true love is to love youself that would be me.
no one likes Mr or Mrs negative
but don't tell them that's the way it is,
keep you chine up and turn the other cheek,
so let them walk all over you? thats weak,
first empreshions say alot,
but don't choose a book by it's cover is that for not?

so lets see if I got this strait,
live life...good that sounds great.
