In this day and age you've gotta be positive
To combat the negatives, it's your prerogative
Tell silly jokes
Smiles they provoke
Mission accomplished, here's to all you novices

Please, you have put my progress on pause and caused me prolonged poverty-Put the keys to my persona back on the dresser, need my personality back- You have put my purpose on pause, and caused me to get pulled into your pool of problems, I do not want to swim in gossip and drama. You have Pitched me another curve ball of your pastimes.. Waiting for me to catch your worthless, purpose of profound pity - This is my ditty on your pretty agenda based, passive, pretentious piety. Unreal humility, has programmed your potential, which produces phony plastic products that are non essential. Pardon me if I have come to certain conclusions; Since I've allowed your inclusion into my own illusions. I now protest what I detest,of what I thought I saw in you ..As my mind has been reasonably restored, I reserve the right to say who belongs in my life. So I am closing pages on peons who have put my purpose on pause. New perspectives on my prerogative... Peace!

Prerogative of An Oppressed Freshman

each stroke of greased fingers on the mohawk
was a result of a genius work of art
an outlet where my soul barely peeks
yet you cut with your hypocritical shears and your rusty hand
and you call it discipline
and you call it concern
I call it ********

the shadows on my
eyelids were davincis and picassos
sketched in a magnificent representation
of inner self which you all want to see
yet suffocate by your rotten curricula
and you call it quality
and you call it excellence
I call it ********

the silver that glitters in these ears
conceals the tortures of my youth
the horrors that dwell in my every sleep
yet you rip from my skin you are unworthy of touch
and you call it decency
and you call it suitability
I call it ********

Henry Iv: Prerogative and Piety

Enterprising Henry IV declares suzerainty over state
Xenophobic princes seek the royal prerogative to abate
Cautious king uses diplomacy, threats his minions to subjugate
Old rivals in Saxony Henry's consolidation with tyranny equate
Morose princes in the hinterland seek to avoid a similar fate
Manic King Henry sends his forces the opposition to eradicate
Unifying his kingdom, Henry dispatches puppets, builds forts his
subjects to ingratiate
Nouveau Pope, Gregory VII, seeks his spiritual fiefdom to
accentuate
Invoking ban on German King's power to bishops nominate
Calculating King refuses to cooperate with this diabolical dictate
Arrogant Pope responds to Henry's disobedience with a writ to
excommunicate
Terrified, Henry performs penance to wipe clean the slate
Ecclesiastical mantra restored; Pope Gregory VII absolves the
humbled magnate
Demeaned but not demised, Henry continued to temporal, spiritual
power appropriate

Nazriel Rising

Nazriel Rising Small World Ace

She was as pretty as ever on this night
With me smitten to bits with her aura
As we met on our usual pickup location
Nazriel that one who so compliments me

We were on an official business briefing
One of Epic proportions with intricacies
This time the operation was offshores
With me providing intel logistic n liaison
We had to discuss the mission details

The coppers got wind of our operation...
And they being on standby we went on unabated
We were taking out a notorious terror cell
Deep in the suburban’s of Kismayu

The Operation had the green light of our CO
Yet... Something felt off call it an 8th sense...
A key word “conscription” kept clopping up
We were not decided... yet the die was cast
Swiftly we had to act and neutralize the enemy
Thus Operation ...Sly Jackal. was initialized
With Controlled Outcomes a key prerogative

Nazriel bid me goodbye with a kiss...

As I approached the coppers car on standby...
With me leaning on their window and by way of greeting
“What can I get you this time officers...?”
I can get you a couple of stinger missile at the right price
But are you sure you can afford… they eyed me calmly
Not betraying an iota of emotion... the rest transpired in silence.

It's Your Prerogative

To cleanse your life, empty out it's past and move on, to leave no explanations, no pity, no shame. To usher the insensitive to the living and the not, to delete faces from your photographs and smile once more. I'm owed no explanation, as I was never bought and was never returned, but my past litters with others excrement. I'm sure you'll do it again and you've done it before, used and disposed, cared and then lost interest; I'm more sure that there'll be occasions where I'll be or have been the same. At the disposing end though, it's instinct to look for recovery, the need to fight is always pointless nowadays. But what can you do?

There's a million different ways to move on or to diminish, and to do either one you have to experience both. It's your prerogative to do as you please as it is mine, and that's all.

Premium Member Her Prerogative

They had fought.

He left without a word while she was sleeping.

She threw on the gown she had worn for him the night before,
pushed off the china vase and blooms he had given her.

She listened to it crash to the floor and sat on the window sill
where the bouquet and container had been.

She was alone but at least she was the only flower.

Female Prerogative Or Why Woman Are Odd

Today

She does not want me any more
I am old and past my prime
I can sense its time to go
I can see it in her eyes
She is not happy any more
She shouts and screams or cries
There are no kind words any more
Just insults all the time
She cares not for me any more
She told me so, she said
The worst of words a man can hear
I wish that you was dead

Yesterday

I love you very much she says
You are young and looking good
Never ever leave me please
You are part of my blood
Happiness is what you bring
Happiness and Joy
You make me want to sing and dance
You fill my world with Joy
She always brings nice things to me
She says it gives her pleasure
The very thing a man would want
Some shoes of Spanish leather

Citizens Prerogative

Citizens Prerogative

In this clime of ours,
citizens right is an illusion,
the subjugation leaves a dent.

Our legs wobble with weakness,
our lungs go dry with thirst,
Dreams bleached in graves.

From one mendacious tale to another,
It's a cycle of everyday struggles,
and there's no end in sight.

Amid sighs and sobs,
amid groans and tears,
we pray for light and hope.

Where freedoms boulevard
will be crystal clear and
citizens right upheld.

Prerogative

When I was a boy of ten years old
I made my mama proud
That's when I learned a brand new word
That I'd often say outloud

I had heard other people use it
But I didn't know what it meant
So that's when I looked in Webster's
Where many hours were spent

Prerogative was my brand new word
I'd say it everywhere
I even used it at the dinner table
It didn't matter who was there

I would used it in the bathroom
While reading that magazine
I would use it in the bath tub
While making sure I'm clean

The one day my mama told me
Don't say that word anymore
I told her, "That's your prerogative"
Cause now I'm smarter than before

Well, that just didn't sit very well
As you can probably figure out
And that's when she started to fussin'
And man can that woman shout

She said go to your room young man
I said, "Mama are you positive?"
She said, "Yes I am now hurry up"
I said, "That's your Prerogative"

A Poets Prerogative

A POET’S PREROGATIVE

We right our souls as we
Write our souls because we must,

Or like confetti, the words'll bust
Out from us willy-nilly, and

Poets cannot let words simply sully out,
Cannot scatter and strew them about,

Without some kind of form
(Even formless forms like this need be).

And somehow we get it there,
Intentionally, we put it there,

For all the cosmos and universe to see.
Sharpied permanent on the Internet,

Our works, our marrow, the
Underbelly passage to our innards, the

Dark and dank and dolorous in us, the
Sun and star and silly in us, the

Topic of the day in us, we
Contest for cash and credit, and

Kilos of kudos to the winner.
But, not really all the truth, I suppose,

We have no control over the prose,
Center stage, exposed.

Red and raw and real -
Poets write to right our souls,

And no competition there;
We've, each of us, already won.

Nature has given you Limbs
Compassionate deeds are your prerogative

Nature has given you Mind
Divine thoughts are your prerogative

Nature has given you Heart
Loving all is your prerogative

Nature has given you Life & Death
Moments in between is your prerogative

Honey Do Prerogative

The Soul's Prerogative

dreamless sleeping
tearless weeping
body argues with soul
cannot control
the thoughts within
they toss and turn
never ceasing
the endless song of confusion
where will my hopes lead?
can i ever regain stability?
spiraling 'round and 'round
games we play, so dumbfound
let me free from chaos
i want to obey my soul,
to sleep and dream,
to weep and stream
no more animosity, i wish
my goal, my heart set on
dancing with inhibitions none
smiling forever beneath the sun
what arms can do, cannot compare
what soul believes, legs do not dare
but hopes prevail and someday
i'll fly and in my mind's eye
finally just Be.

Jimmy asked Janet out on a date

Janet told Jimmy he'd have to wait

Jimmy chose not to wait for Janet

And chased every girl on the planet

Then Janet said she may have been hasty

Thought Jimmy's offer really quite tasty

Janet told Jimmy she'd have her own way

Jimmy and Janet got married today
